good to know: you can change not only the flint, but the whole flint-system (incl. wheel). That's why Clipper lighters last extremely long - like a zippo :) If you don't find them in your hood you might order them online (that's what I do...)
and specially for hash since the flame gets bigger if you hold the clipper at an angle greater than 90º (so the lighter points down) and you can heat the hash that is on some surface
Best alternative for smoke critics. If youre looking for multi functionality/durability, this is the way to go. Bic is always a safe bet no one could doubt that, but for the price difference I would go for a multi-use/durable/artsy lighter. Just me though.
i had 3 clipper fires until now, all of them were nearly functioning as to the first use after 3 or 4 months. i think the gas comes to late after a certain time of usage. i changed everything, the firestone, the wheel, the gas. nothing worked really. i think the component which brings the gas into it just doesnt last that long. unfortunate considering the fact that you can swap everything which could possibly stop functioning.
@@TheBootyWrangler oh way back in the late 90s or early 2000s. You still get the round ones on their metal clippers which says to me they know the round one is better or they would have the new version on them.
Jess the Baconator if you take a sewing needle and clean/open out the jet hole that makes the flame as big as you want, but dont need to force it much to make a decent flame
Had a raw branded clipper years ago, had to throw it out because I did not know how to change the flint at that time. Now I know how to change the flint in clipper lighters. But back then I thought that it was cheaper and easier buying bic lighters after my first experience with a clipper lighter. So for a number of years I bought mainly bic lighters up until recently, when someone gave me a clipper lighter as I almost forgot about these lighters, in which I have been looking for a good reusable lighter that is reasonably priced & reliable. I think that I am going to be using clipper brand lighters instead of bic brand lighters for the foreseeable future.
clipper lighter are bad ass and are the BEST lighters better than Bic by a long shot in my opinion and hope clipper keeps up the amazin work and incorporate more unique lighters like the one I just got its a clipper circle k with camouflage and refillable electric ignition lights 1st time everytime lit it atleast 30 times so far Great work and craftsmanship
@bloodyloins our house started on fire because a bic apparently didnt go out after being thrown back in a drawer after lighting a candle. wish it had been a clipper
BIC is way more popular though and is probably just as safe so idk i never see Clipper ever sold anywhere its always those damn crack lighters or its BIC so BIC i go with.
shame they are shit now, they were great when they still had that round sparker design but now they just don't spark well even with new flints due to the new design @ 2:24. The only good clippers are the metal range that have the round sparker still
WOOT?! You 2 guys gotta be KIDDIN' around here... Where did that happen? Maybe you fell for one of these fake-Clippers which recently occurred in the UK... Some are branded "Cupper" - I would never buy one of these. I got a collection of some hundred Clipper lighters over the years and I NEVER heard of such crappy reviews on this awesome product. Still: the ultimate lighter. Best regards.
The Zippo design is flawed by the fact they aren't nearly air tight enough as to keep the fuel long enough. Wether or not the zippo is used will make almost zero difference on the amount of fuel used. I have Zippos and used them for a while but got sick of having to refuel them all the time, and having smelly pockets. I don't understand why they still haven't changed the design, you can easily make them last twice as long using a bit of epoxy.
Vets Games I think having to refill them once in a while would be part of the charm if it wasn't so frequent as to make it a chore. You can get small fuel tanks that fit inside the insert and eliminate the problem but I never bought one, I'm thinking of it.
all hail the clipper
This isn’t a cult
Live in catalonia and clippers are everywhere and tons of people have them
in all Spain, is the most used lighter.
6:22 anyone know where i can get one of those huge clipper display lighters?
Ebay
you can find them on amazon
Lorenzo Lule link?

arand4 mate none calles it hash
@@Lucashogg-em3jk hash and bud are different things so yes, people do call it hash
Hash is just short for hashish.
Can I try it by myself?

Yup it was when they started those edged sparkers they went to shit.

How can I make the flame bigger? There is any option for a Clipper ligher to do that?
When you tip it upside down it automatically gets bigger. but idk if there is actually a way to make it bigger other than that
Jess the Baconator if you take a sewing needle and clean/open out the jet hole that makes the flame as big as you want, but dont need to force it much to make a decent flame
sweet, thanks for that tip. ill try it out!
@@jess3298 Buy the metal series clippers they have the ability. They are real nice too
Just tilt the clipper lighter to the side while the flame is on.
cause clippers have a part of the lighter you can use it to to press the joint. Good smoke!!
How do you refill a clipper
Yes
Bottom.
yeah they gotta prodder to poke ya weed down

I always choose and recommend to buy clipper lighter. Because of safety and reusability.😻💪
I bought a clipper lighter right after watching this video
just ordered my metal clipper!
best ones are the ones with the pentagonal spark wheel (not circle)
Only while it has its first flint, after you start replacing flints it goes to shit while the circle one can last years
Clipper is the best design ever. Cricket is not too bad too but BIC just sucks

it's not the regular circular one but should be in flash foods stores soon I'm in Georgia

I love metal Clippers !!
the guy under me is right
And they are GREAT for any weed needs
ZIPPO will rule all lighters!!!
No terrible for smoking with
The old atyle round striker wheel was far better that the stupid hex shaped one they use nowdays
Agree 100% i just got a metal series clipper and it has the circle striker thank god
it is child safety or something

cig's, skins n a clipper n weed = high times
I like Clippers
clipper or bic both good but no crack lighters hahaha 0.0
i ONLY buy clippers, far more reliable, n replace the gas n flint
concerned about quality and safety just use a zippo
