Fire tracks guys, about the actuual genres, i think by nature, if you pit modern edm vs modern hip hop, edm will 90% of the time be much more production heavy and more "creative"
Kanye, 070 Shake, Mike Dean and that side of hip hop is definitely on par with edm production wise, as well as soul hip hop (Alchemist, Westside Gunn, etc.) Has the same attention to subtley as a lot of house/melodic edm
