I like how young animals and children interact, so innocent, lovely to see he's doing so well and so nosy too, he will be so much fun when he's older xx
Mama and baby videos are so sweet...thank you for sharing! I've learned so much from your posts and they are a fantastic slow down moment in the middle of the day to savor ....hard not to linger. 😍 ☺️🐎 funny how Manzer can reach the hay bag easier than the grass ....blessings
OMG, I love watching Manzer's frustration at not being able to reach the grass resulting in his uncoordinated little bucks and lunges. He was so unbearably cute at this age.
Silly Boy ! Everything goes in the mouth 😋 learning important lessons everyday. Bucket is a Good thing ! love his hairy chin - your son was so cute with Manzer
Cute cute cute!!! Little Man is full of curiosity about his environment like any healthy youngster. I love his frolics and little flights of joy. Ah, to be young! Thanks for the up close views, I can almost feel that soft downy coat.
Ha ha .little trouble .terrible two's(weeks) early .you certainly have your hands full! But he's so ADORABLE!! Just makes me smile . He does love his humans I noticed .!!! Thanks for another great video🙋🤗💖💖
Nika & Manzer - so beautiful! Both are so stunning. Watching a foal is a beautiful thing to watch. Thank you so much for uploading this video!!! I ended up going to our state Fair yesterday and got to interact with a few horses. I actually went to bed smiling last night thinking about the experience. Now I'm not sure what breed one of the horses was, but he was the only one no one was paying attention to. They didn't have his name posted and he was just kind of standing there sideways I suppose catching a nap. I got his attention and he turned out to be quite the character. My hand was kissed and he even thought he had to give me tiny bites with the edge of his teeth, but I loved it!
Your little Boy is the Cutest thing ever! Absolutely Adorable! Manzer is the first colt that I've seen, figure out a way to eat off of the ground like Mom, at such a young age! I mean Truly! That was impressive. He was going to figure out a way to get those long lanky legs out of the way! Too Cute!😊
This is one super video.....just hanging out with you, your kids, Nika and the wee fella....very pleasing to the heart and mind....Love from Scotland🐴🐎💞
I love watching these two! I usually watch your videos twice, because I'm so busy watching Nika & Manzer that I don't always pay attention to your words the first time. Thanks once again for sharing all you do with us!
Manzer is always a treat to watch. Something I look forward to is seeing him as a yearling. He is going to be a handsome young man with lots of big muscles and all...😉
Gorgeous video he is such a sweetie! I like how Manza's blaze goes down into his right nostril & Nika's is more to the left side. Watching him trying everything with his mouth reminded me of my Grandson who would put bits off the carpet into his mouth when he was a toddler until he got something that was definitely not edible - the look on his face, he never did it again !!
Love how Manzer is trying to "claim" all the grain!! LOL Nika is such a good Momma. And like I've said before, the foal learning things on his own, is actually desensitizing itself from things that go bump in the night. The people who own the mare, sometimes don't see it that way however. Those kinds of owners want to bubble wrap the foal, and you just can't do that. There are something's you just have to let the foal discover for themselves, and not in an area where you can't control the situation. Best Regards from Ontario, Canada, Jenn.
I understand your question and I would say yes he is. There's GOLDEN, CHOCOLATE and I can't recall what else at the moment. But! again Yes! He would be considered Golden.
ALSO I would like take say that , even though he's absolutely Perfect! Just the way he is! I would have loved to him with his Sires dark coat with his Dams mane and tail.
Susan Flowers can’t say I’ve ever seen a horse the color of his sire with Nika’s color mane and tail. He could have come out pink with purple polka dots and I’d be fine with that. Color doesn’t mean a whole lot to me as long as they have a good mind and all their parts in the right places, lol
He has a truly beautiful head. His blaze is outstanding and them big eyes are to die for. His sweet personality shines thru. I hope the legs won’t be an issue I would think it’s just something that rectifies itself as he gets older and stronger. The doodle being the same though maybe has some hormonal influence do u think from mum.
Great video again.I love your horses and of course the little one has my heart.I was wondering how big is your farm as in acres? From just your videos it looks big!Thank you for sharing all these videos with us all.Take care and will be waiting for your next one.
I know you are busy...but...have you considered making a sensory video of them to market to the companies who cater to sales of that type of product already? It crossed my mind when I thought - she could charge money for this super relaxing video - but you are sharing it for everyone everywhere for us to enjoy and learn. Thank you! Have a wonderful day! Laural
@@mrandabrown3557 I don't remember anymore, if it was explained in the video, but his diarrhea was normal 'foal diarrhea'. Foals sometimes get it, when the mare goes into 'foal heat' about a week, after giving birth. The hormones in the milk mess with their digestion. But maybe him eating so much solid food, so early, didn't help, either. Might be, that in nature/on pasture, they're still very much restricted by not really being able, to reach the ground yet, due to their long legs. They do try, but it's awkward and so they probably prefer, to mainly nurse. I'm just speculating, though, mind you, I've never raised a little one.
I have picked out a foal as well (1 month old) and he seems to be having the same bent knees as well in the front, which I am worried about. May I ask what was the specialist’s opinion on Manzer’s knees. Did they straighten out as he got older?
And so, in fits and starts, intentionally and by accident, they learn..... :) The great trick is to set up learning situations so that they teach themselves. Those are the lessons that stick!
@@VersatileHorsemanship yes you are.and it will come in handy next baby😉Brandi thanks for sharing this journey;with all youve learned ,you now teach . Thankyou 😘 💖💖💖💖💖💖
That mean old grain bucket...they can be scary for a little feller!😊 I never get enough watching when the video ends! Often I'll go back an rewatch it just to look at Manzer and Nika more! I'm not sure this would even by possible, but I wish at some point you could compile all these segments into one long episode! Like "Manzer's First Six Months," or even his first year!!! Wouldn't that be fun to watch❣ Nika is such a beautiful horse. She looked so pretty munching that bright green grass. It made her blonde mane look even blonder. Thanks for another video of sweetness😊
Terri TN that’s one reason why I really like the option to watch playlists. I organize all the videos in order so it plays a story. Here’s the link to Manzer and Nika’s journey if you haven’t seen it yet ua-cam.com/play/PLIR-JJucLqwK03czDuIMjodOXT0IsOxmm.html
He never had a problem with his back legs he just had to grow into them has he has a year on,but he guna be a big boy with that amazing muscular quarter horse butt!!😂😂❤️
@@VersatileHorsemanship Thanks for the answer. I'v never seen a baby snack at such a young age. I've seen them pick at grain and then screw up their little noses and go back to mum. All those carbs are going straight to his hips when he's older!
So CUTE!! you have so much beauty all around you. Your son is adorable!! I saw his baby teeth when he was nursing. amazing how fast they develop. Question, how soft is he? like his mane and tail, do they feel like a regular horse? (sorry if this is a weird question) Thank you for this great video!
Jessica Manning his body is like velvet and his man and tail are like a very thin version of adult horse hair. It kind of reminds me of hair off an older Barbie 😂
Mae Neisler that would be a nightmare to clean up out of the sand. I’d forever find wood chips in the footing. Straw is super easy to clean up out of sand.
