"Take care of your cells, and they will take care of you." I am convinced, after a life of paying attention to my health, that we age and are healthy at the cellular level - or not. If we aren't, we have not treated our cells right. Looking at people who mistreated their bodies - most of them knowingly doing so - it is sad to see the cellular condition of their skin. And one can imagine what they've done internally, too. The approach of microbiologists is correct, IMHO, to look to the cells and their components to determine what is going on. They are making enough progress that it appears completely possible that they will some day be able to stop and reverse aging. I applaud their work and effort and encourage them to keep on trying to discover more and more. Maybe within 25 years, when I am 90, they will be able to take me back to 40 or so. I will be content with my 120 years or so, regardless. But if I can get another 20 or 50 or 100 years, I am all for it. There is so much to learn in life, and it seems such a waste to learn it all and then simply wither away. It would even be BETTER if there are a lot of other super-centenarians to accompany me. I believe in people, and it is people like David Sinclair that I believe in most. It may or may not be HIM who gets us there, but one of them will, someday. Break a leg, folks!
Why is everyone not contributing to this research? The more that we collectively focus on this work, the more quickly we'll be able to cure aging altogether.
Am an avid fan of David Sinclair. I believe in his science and will try to reverse my age of 72,witj a heart disease and pacemake, a type 2 diabetic, meniers disease, vertigo, but not giving up.. Now I feel 40 years old. Thank you
You can tell his research on epigenetics has been successful because of how much younger he looks now. Thank you for all your innovative research David Sinclair
Stunning! My own observational research postulated that eating too much works your cells out, making them age quickly, so by eating moderate they work moderate and by starving you switch of the division of cells. Now these increases the lifespan of the cells and whole organ. hahaha so impressive!
I used to run the MIT track as a little girl. There is a diet called the MIND diet. It's a Mediterranean diet based on plants legumes whole grains wine and fish. Mostly plants real vegetables and fruits. That makes sense because there was once a saying -"let food be thy medicine"
God Bless you, David Sinclair! We will....WE WILL as a race to find a way to slow, halt, and reverse aging. I personally believe aging is a disease. People shouldn't have to suffer being old, weak, and frail. Life is too short. We should live long.
Dear Mr. David, Thank you for all your amazing work and PLEASE, do not ever quit. 🙏🙏🙏 My mom has Alzheimer's disease so any little hope is truly blessing. Good luck and all the best in your live as well as in your work.
Thank you David, you are a true hero continuing your research in spite of the setbacks and attacks. Keep going, we believe in your research and humanity deserves to be healthy and productive. Your work is very important, be inspired, humanity is counting on you.
I'm 19 and I truly hope that there is a cure for aging in my generation. I'm a nursing student and I see the effects of aging daily. If we spent more money to fund aging research, it would do much more in preventing the diseases that we are trying to cure.
I just got David's book and it is amazing, I have not been so excited to read a book in so long! I have just started taking NMN and Reservatrol supplements, about 6 weeks now and wow I feel amazing! I feel younger, I have more energy, I don't get exhausted/tired as easily! Over the last 10 years I have been working towards being healthier, working out, eating right, and now with Davids research and many other scientists as well - this is an exciting time to be alive!
Hi, I'm glad to hear this!!! Where did you get you NMN and Reservatrol ? What brand and what dosage ? I'm looking for it and there's so many compagny on the internet!
I’m 51 years old and going to be 52 in a week and I was seriously healthy all of my life until I had someone hit me at 60 miles an hour t-bones me I was knocked unconscious and I have struggled with pain daily from sciatic nerve damage until this very day the only injury I have ever sustained in my life time, I’m blessed to have had such great health and what did I do but started taking pain pills for the pain and became addicted, this went on for years from age 26 until 47 so I’m pretty sure it’s affected my liver I have not been diagnosed but it’s a feeling anyway my point to all of this is that I agree with the aging reversal because by eating healthy you are more alive so everything is working properly and you won’t age much at all. I know because I’m 52 this week and can take pix with 20 year olds and no one can tell they are not my girlfriends but friends of my sons lol I am just now starting to age and it’s been since being married 7 years ago, my life has seen times that no one should ever have to endure and I still look very young compared to others my age at least from what I can see anyway and I’m now working on my inside my self my attitude because I got the healthy part right thanks to my father I’m from the country and ate right out of the garden right from the ground washed it off and ate it! It works
He is sharp , sure do what he recommends But few actually do that no more than 0.1% so he has no real impact on the world. World is too stubborn to change ways
Old news. There's a lot of peer-review on pubmed that actually demonstrates that Vitamin D deficiency heavily contributes to age-related diseases (especially on a mental level - cognitive decline, bone issues, immune problems, muscular problems, etc.) Keeping people healthy in their 'old age' isn't really difficult with what we know without synthetic drugs. A plant-based diet (vegan) also has peer-review data correlating overall cardiovascular health for people in their 90-ies... coupled with exercise, etc. The RDA for Vitamin D was miscalculated to the point where it ended up 10x lower compared to what it should be - an article was published earlier this year on Sciencedaily and PubMed. The RDA for Vitamin D3 should be in the range of 10 000 IU DAILY (for some people, it would be double - depending on their age, weight, etc.) What I'm more interested in extending the Human lifespan beyond the 'paltry' potential 150 years of age. But then again, Humans might not have a fixed lifespan. The oldest known person died at the age of 122... and these numbers seem to be rising. Peer-review on pubmed also seems to correlate longevity with high glutathione levels in the body of people who live past 100 and 120. Intracellular glutathione levels can be raised via supplements using Alpha Lipoic Acid... though R-Alpha Lipoic Acid was stated to be more potent. On an overall basis, NAC seems to have the ability to restore glutathione levels in people in just 2 or 3 months at doses of about 6 to 9 grams per day. Combining that with Vitamin D3 - at least 10 000 IU daily (I do 20 000 IU daily) and curcumine inclusion in vegan diet with regular exercise should be ok. Vegan diet also according to peer-review can easily provide your body with everything it needs in abundance (B12 included - Nori/seaweed). Most/all minerals can be sourced from almonds, brazil nuts almonds, flaxseed, microalgae oil and chia seeds. No need to chow down on these all the time though... just include them to be part of your regular diet at least 3 to 4 times a week. Out of most supplements, Vitamin D3 remains one of the cheapest ones... so if NAC is not an option for you, you can improve your glutathione via healthy vegan diet rich in fruits and vegetables. Combine it with Vitamin D3 supplementation, and other food stuffs included, and see if it makes a difference for you. As for extending life beyond the paltry potential 150... could conceivably be done today via stem-cells alone. It could be doubled... which means youth, vibrance and health (physical and mental) at an age of 500 (probably well beyond that) - well, basic principles apply in terms of body maintenance, so you will simply need to be careful that you ingest the things that are beneficial to your body. Also, by 2030 or 2035, nanorobots will enter the picture which in combination with regenerative medicine (in the next 5 to 10 years) will likely enable biological immortality.
+IVXCLD Already had my D levels tested. Was stated to be 91 ng/ml (227 nmol/L). As for NAC causing people to froth at the mouth or talking in tongues... hardly. NAC is a fairly harmless substance. I would imagine however that older people would need to be using smaller doses of NAC initially before increasing it to 6 to 9 grams per day (like anything, your body needs time to adjust) and benefit even more from Vitamin D3 supplements in doses of 10 000 IU to 20 000 IU per day, as well adjustments in their overall diet to shift them more to a plant based one. Here's the relevant data pertaining to Vitamin D RDA miscalculation: www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2015/03/150317122458.htm www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4210929/ As for glutathione restoration via ALA, R-ALA and NAC: www.glutathioneexperts.com/pdfs/glutathione-hiv-8.pdf www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/7857274 And association between centenarians and highl glutathione levels: www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19093924 The role of Vitamin D for innate and adaptive immunity: www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21419266 www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3738984/ Most elderly individuals (as well as most of the global population) seem to be vitamin D deficient. Plus, the RDA was not revised to include much higher supplementation or sun exposure per the first link I posted about RDA being miscalculated. Since Vitamin D also plays a role in genome stability (which was associated with ageing) as can be seen here: www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/11295155 www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/25803084 Plus, here's a peer-review on B12 avaialbility in Nori-seaweed (for vegans) : www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4042564/ Should provide compelling evidence for some studying and future research. Since I'm friends with a GP, I'll try writing a scientific paper by combining these references for the purpose of ongoing research in life extension, immune function, etc.
+IVXCLD 91 ng may seem high, but according to peer review, its perfectly fine. No problems were detected in Humans in ranges of levels under 250 ng (which in itself is a much higher number). As for minerals like magnesium... that's easily sourced from nuts (which are far superior when it comes to magnesium quantities compared to anything else you might be ingesting). Western diet has a high emphasis on meat, eggs and dairy - mainly because those industries are excessively dominant... therefore, it is very likely that plant based diets will receive a negative backlash when vested interests are put into question - even from peer-review. As for Aubrey De Gray... I agree with his idea on completely preventing people from ageing... but there is another way to achieve his 'escape route' which would slow down biological ageing to the point of proverbial crawling if not possibly even stop it almost completely while also preserving health and vibrance on a physical and mental level ... and some of those methods I already mentioned (they are all well within our current capabilities, but my point is, we don't need drugs to do it). Right now we still don't know very long-term effects of vegan diets on elderly populations. The only peer-review I'm aware of in this area is the one that established protective cardiovascular health effects on people (going beyond even what vegetarians achieved). Here is the study: www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4073139/ Heck, we don't even know if Humans have a 'fixed lifespan'. For the moment, we seem to continuously increasing the maximum life expectancy (but those also missed other key factors that might have allowed these people to live even longer). I don't concern myself with 'average life expectancy' because that's just rubbish number which is quite frankly set too low and also cannot be applied to EVERYONE.
Well, keep in mind that vegan and vegetarian diets are high in protein as well. Peer-review demonstrated to my knowledge that the amount of ingested protein from vegan and vegetarian diets was effectively no less compared to those on an omnivore diet. Longevity might be correlated with dietary choices (considering that specific diets obviously have an effect on cardiovascular health, etc.) But it also depends on balancing what you eat, with exercise, etc. - so its 1 factor out of several others (genes play a very small role here though when you take into account epigenetics). So, it doesn't really matter what kind of background you come from, so long as you adjust your style of living and environment to one that benefits you in terms of longevity and health (I would imagine some of these might be negated by the western life which can be full of stress, but meditation in turn could help in this manner). There were plenty of people born in 1950... as for how many of them will live to 150 remains to be seen. Keep in mind that most of these people probably hadn't read into peer-review research involving longevity, etc., so most might not know how to go about it... or even that they COULD affect anything about it, because we live in a world that demands of a person to have 'money' to gain access to anything (which is something society needs to change dramatically, because that kind of outmoded notion of societal conduct has no place in the 21st century). At any rate, a person living 150 years and born in 1950-ies would already have access to regenerative medicine by 2025 (stem-cells - which were said to be capable of extending lifespan to about 500 or 1000, possibly more... though regular injection of said stem- cells at appropriate periods would allow indefinite life expectancy) and biological immortality by theoretical 2035 (or at 85 years old) through nanotechnology.
+Petar Posavec The most informative comment I've ever read on UA-cam! Thanks for the research links. Would be grateful if you cleared me out on some more info (currently on 5000 UI D3, not sure if I should switch it up): a) You're saying as a healthy individual you're having no backlashes from the high doses of Vitamin D(3)? b) How long have you been taking it? c) What effects have you been noticing during this time? d) Are you taking NAC or R-ALA? e) For how long? f) Noticeable effects? Perhaps you have some more info or detailed data from your use/experience that you would kindly share? A blog or smth? If you'd rather not post here, you can PM me :) and thanks in advance! Already very informative.
+Eliza L. Enache a) I have had no backlashes from using 20 000 IU of Vitamin D3 daily. b) I have been taking Vit D3, between 10 000 IU/20 000 IU for almost 1 year and 10 months now c) In terms of visual evidence, I noticed that my skin is no longer dry for example and is much smoother (prior to starting D3 supplementation, I had dry skin which was relatively rough as well - this does correlate with peer review findings that D3 affects innate and adaptive immunity). d) I am currently taking NA-RALA (a supposedly better form of R-ALA) occasionally - however, glutathione can be regenerated through sensible diet as well. e) Been taking NA-RALA on and off for the past year f) Nothing in terms of visual evidence, but considering that my chronological age is 32 (whereas my biological age seems to be placed at about 10 years below that), I am vegan and also go to the gym 4 times a week, I would imagine that I wouldn't notice too many effects as opposed to someone in their 50-ies - though it is possible that due to younger age and these precautions, I could be slowing down my ageing (or affecting my genetic structure in certain ways) for the better without even knowing it. I doubt that I might be doing my body harm though, since the doses I'm using don't seem to have any harmful effects, and been using them on a fairly long term basis now. I don't have my own blog really or a website. I just like spending free time researching peer-review and experimenting with supplementation towards life extension, etc. and try to base my replies around peer-review as a basis.
I first heard Dr Sinclair in a radio program last year. I had already been missing breakfast for literally decades, but still had stabilised at around 86kg, down from around 100kg with 'dieting'. I began his recommended daily time-restricted eating on a roughly 18/6 regime, and 18 months later I'm stable at 65kg and never felt better! But I do have a lot if spare skin, if anyone needs some...
Just like him even i wonder why no one tried to fix ageing, it shouldve been already fixed by now. Only 1% research in medical science happens on ageing is so beyond bad.
Whole-food plant-based diet + High-Intensity Strength-Training will keep your body and brain strong. Work & play hard, like a young person, and die "young": at 100 years old.
+im going on holiday to Vietnam date Research has discovered that the life-extending aspect aspect of fasting is methionine -reduction. For the most part, this is accomplished with the diet I posted above. There are also many plant foods high in methionine, (Brazil nuts the extreme example), so even plant-based foods must be chosen carefully. Obviously, overeating would still have a negative effect, even on this diet, but these foods have high water & fiber content, & no man-made appetite-stimulators, making overeating unlikely.
Unfortunately, while those certainly do help, there are things you can't stop such as oxidative stress. NAD+, Pterostilbene and SIRT1 activation can help with these things.
People who say they don't want to live forever should still support this because you can always change your mind later but not if you're already dead. I have been saying this... longevity is our choice! If we want to sustain our health, we have to do something about it! This will start by knowing what supplies our body needs. Start by eating a balanced diet, quit vices, exercise regularly and take an NMN supplement. Mine is a 500mg per day, NMN by Vitruvin Nutrition. The goal should be to live longer while staying young and healthy. Sinclair believes that in the foreseeable future, it's possible for humans to live beyond 120 or even 150, without the frailty, diseases and disability we now associate with old age. See your result and tell the same experience.
You know this man is onto something when 80% of comments here are from years later after this presentation and unanimously agreeing that years later he looks same age or younger 😱
Only videos like these help me fight depression and suicidal thoughts. Merely birth does not mean having life. Life means having enough time on your youth to full fill all your wishes and responsibilities. Just the hope of having eternal youth and enough time keeps me alive and ready to face all the challenges my way. Having eternal youth and 100% Health would solve all problems and insecurities to humans.
I totally agree, Sameer. I can't believe people would just choose to die at the age of 100, sick and elderly - and I can't believe people just cast aside longevity research with the statement that "death comes eventually for everyone". If you want to join in and discuss anti-aging and longevity with a group, and provoke change in the scientific community through awareness and discussion, you should swing by the Longevity Discord Channel. discord.gg/ftSbffu Longevity is a really positive thought for me as well, and something that's really encouraging is having discussions with other people interested in it.

I am a moderationist eater. I eat meat or eggs most days of my life. I don't smoke, and my alcohol intakes are minimal to moderate. I am 65 and I look like I am 48 or so, according to new people I meet (and I meet quite a few new people in my life). NO wrinkles, anywhere on my body or face. Natural brown hair (what hair I have). Perhaps I have good genes, you might surmise. No. My two brothers (17 months older and younger than me) had premature grey hair and the none surviving one looks to be about 80. My older sister had quintuple bypass surgery when she was younger than I am now. I visited the Mediterranean in my early 20s and discovered what is now called the Mediterranean diet. I have basically followed that ever since, with a Snickers bar or a Coke every few weeks or so. Like I said, "moderationist". The diet I discovered is simply olive oil, garlic, onions, fresh produce, wine (especially red wines), cheeses, seafood, and lamb. To that I added eggs (about 7-10 per week, plus real mayonnaise), beef, chicken, goat, and real butter, all in normal quantities and all as un-tainted by chemicals as possible (and that is certainly not always possible). I also decided at age 20 - as an experiment in mental suggestion - to live another 100 years, to age 120. I am now 45 years into that 100 years, and I am healthier than any 65-year-old I know. Essentially all of them are wrinkled and white or grey haired, with withering bodies and slowing mental faculties. I have a belly that comes and goes, and I don't stress over a few extra pounds. I recently was buoyed over that, even, when a paper came out that stated that overweight people actually survive illnesses on average slightly better than people of the so-called ideal weight. I wonder sometimes if, when I projected myself to age 120, at age 20 I was somehow tuning into the research then beginning on aging and longevity. It seems like the world is trying to make me able to reach that 120 age. I am no soft-in-the-head New Ager, though I spent some time there. I had a career as a hard-nosed mechanical engineer, having worked my way up through the ranks. I assure you that in the world of heavy industry and very practical foremen and machine builders and welders and such one does not go through life with one's head in the clouds. But I know that I set myself an experimental goal 45 years ago, and it looks like not only that MY body is trying to get me there, but that science is also trying to get me there, too, carried along by efforts of people like David Sinclair, who is trying to save the whole world, me included. A year ago I bought some Reseveratrol for a girlfriend, but then we broke up before I could get it to her. It sat on my shelf for a year and now I am discovering some of its properties. So now I am trying it. I have NEVER taken pills for anything, but since it is made from red grape skins, I am giving it a try, just for the hell of it. I haven't gotten a buzz yet, but will report if I do. I actually offer myself to him and like-minded researchers, if they want to see someone who is aging more slowly and include me in their research. I am doing something right, and perhaps they can learn from me.
Steve Garcia I think it's a good idea to decide how long we want to live. I'm pretty sure it can have quite an impact on our subconscious level. Especially, when I see other people who are complaining all the time about aging as if at 50 it was impossible to learn anything new! I think we should rather look at people who run marathon at 100 and wonder why not us than getting stuck with stupid beliefs about aging.
We think of the Mediterranean diet as healthy but that's because the original Mediterranean diet was like 90%+ plant based before these people (in the last 1/2 century?) started eating unhealthier and now we think mediterranean = oil, wine, fish... Wow, as I watch this, I just learned through my news feed “Little Richard has died at the age of 87”..... Sad that we don’t yet have the science to avoid such great losses....
You can activate those SIR-2 genes or "pacman" through exercise and fasting. pharmaceutical companies know it's more important to keep people sick or dependent on treatment than when we are healthy and with slowed down aging processes.
Very true, but the can be difficult to sustain and they don't know the good ratio of fasting to exercise. I saw him talk recently and he is still working his drug. UGTH! Good news though. I'd love to live forever to see as much of this incredible universe, as long as 'Everyone' can choose to live well as long as they choose? Not only the rich...
Vasto: You're not the only one. I do think drugs that will slow aging are slowly on the horizon. Just keep yourself healthy and work hard to make it to the day that the drugs are available.
I think if such a drug ever got developed it wouldn't be available for public use because of over population, or at least it would be extremely expencive..

A brilliant man! I hope he continues with this important work. The way is not always smooth, but with men and women committed to going the distance, we will advance.
I would love to see a lavishly funded international life extension/immortality research and development program similar to the Apollo Program. We do not know what we are capable of. At the very least, my guess is that we can likely extend both the average and maximum healthy human lifespan, and that would be good.
Why can't we drink grape juice without alcool? Hiperpression and pasteurization can work VERY Well With juices preserving resveratrol in larga amounts in juices. .

Two thumbs up! Sadly by the time those anti-aging medicines will be out on the market I will be about 65. We at least deserves to age healthy and beautiful. I should be among the first generation testing those cures if the pharmaceuticals push those researches. Thanks!

I will be 85 by the time the FIRST things will be experimentally tested! And that is still decades from freely available cures! Get OUT while you can! Life is NOT meant to be lived until high age. Life is meant to be ENDED early. Or get PUNISHED by the NATURE with aging. It's the punishment for not leaving.
@@lauramakin834 people don’t understand one thing about fasting. It’s not only to get skinny. Fasting was used to heal and take care of health. Your body and mind works 100% when your hungry. 😊
David Sinclair really brushed over the whole part where the Pharmaceutical companies said he had it all wrong. How was he wrong? Did they prove that Sirtuins are simply snake oil or did they falsely just say that we should not research aging? There are so many questions left unanswered. It would be nice if he would have addressed that in a little greater detail. Was he to embarrassed to address it or was it just a failed chance to explain the history of this research???
I too am curious about more details. My suspicion is your second question, that the pharmaceutical company made false statements in order to thwart the work. A book available on Amazon (& your library?), Global Censorship of Health Information, which will give you details on how this sort of thing goes on. On my VigorAndVitality website & youTube channel there is a video called, 7 Minute History of ASEA, which tells the story of how a pharmaceutical giant made a huge offer for the cellular redox signaling technology....... but also required that everyone already on the product must stop. The deal was to be made and the technology BURIED by the pharmaceutical company. Get the book. Do some research. There's no money to be made by the pharmaceutical companies, or their stockholders, if people are actually healed.
I would not say that there would be no money to be made in healing people. I just don't believe it. Who ever finds a real cure for that many of our diseases would make a fortune and be the richest investors alive. I just don't buy the whole conspiracy theory and bad pharmaceutical story. They might be able to suppress their own drug production which I doubt they would do. but they cant suppress everyone's production in the world. The FDA is perhaps the biggest drug suppressor with its billion dollar clinical trials for new drugs but even the FDA cant stop it all. Especially if it works real good. It will sprout up overseas if it has to. It wouldn't be the first time the Gov drove a business and its jobs out of the country.
From what I have read about Sirtuin research is that Glaxo Smith Kline is currently going full steam ahead with clinical trials for bringing a drug form to market. They purchased David's company, then recently closed it down after their initial trials were over. Some research has shown that sirtuins were not activating, but then David found out from that research that there are mutant sirtuins that do not activate. The trick is to target the correct ones. So for now, all research is validating David's research. In the mean time take 1000mg of Resveratrol supplements until we can get the drug.
America had enormous national projects during the 20th Century. Funding for WWII, The Manhattan Project, major national road networks, electrification of rural America, poverty reduction programs, expansion of the number educated, science and technology initiatives, reaching the Moon, amd many more. People in power aware of our current state of knowledge in age studies should find the goals, will and funding to greatly expand knowledge and technology. The promise in this is astonishing! Luv U

I was wondering if this guy had Botox done. And the answer is yes compared to his face not moving in his newer videos. There is nothing wrong with cosmetic anti-aging procedures but people actually think he “reversed” his wrinkles. Any dermatology will tell you that’s not possible with a diet.
Actually the research on mice with NDA did exactly that, mice that had stopped reproducing due to age had started reproducing again. Not enough studies on humans tho.
I have an unashamedly Buddhist view of death, which is to look into the mind that perceives death as a problem and see if that is really the case. The answer from many Buddhist masters over the millennia? Amidst all the coming and going, there is a presence that never dies. But a very long live can enable us to _realize_ that truth in this very body, in this very life.
Think about it; from age 50 or so you start getting sick & everything will chronically hurt no sleep at night every night with brain damage as consequence. You simply get no rest even at night... Then you miserably get to age 80 & then you have 40% chance of getting dementia.. Life is truly about survival & old age takes up a big part of life.
This kind of micro maintenance will allow us to live longer, but the cool part is that, in theory, this will allow us to live to a time when even better ideas come along that will extend youthfulness even further. Eventually "aging" and "disease" (same thing BTW) will no longer kill humans. Many things will, just not aging. Imaging being able to devote 20+ years to 10+ professions. Scientist, Actor, Musician, Astronaut, Doctor... It boggles the mind.
I think David should consider in his studies about REDOX SIGNALING MOLECULES that is the one responsible in all cellular activities even in the opening and closing of genetic buttons.
We already know why we age. We are already know some of the things to slow it down. What I'm really interested in as well as the rest of the world is the reversal of aging.
Pero en realidad me gustaría saber porque envejecemos hasta llegar a viejos en temas de apariencia no de órganos apariencia hasta tener aspecto de más de en vez de un chico joven más anciano
A large part of aging is a result of living a degenerative lifestyle. You can't drink, smoke, take drugs, eat crap food, and not exercise and expect to look or feel good. Sorry folks, but the secret of staying young is self discipline and hard work.
HiSpeedDrifter nope. Aging is from decay and degeneration CERTAINLY based on what you shared, but also because NAD+ drops to about half by age 35. Also because of sludge and plaque on the stem cells and cells. I’ve been using a fabulous formula for 7 months and I’m Reverse Aging. PM me on facebook or email me. I can share more.
So, healthy lifestyle, exercise, fasting couple of times a year stimulate sirtuin protein in a natural way. I am just quoting him from 11:30. Just take good care of your body starting now and don't wait for a "magic pill"
So do we just need to fast ? Stop eating sugar and eat only vegetables?? I am 28 and I started seeing wrinkles that wont go away ! I feel like I am aging rapidly, stress is overwhelming me and I don't know how to really fix it !
yeah it looks like his hairline got better/thicker and his skin got clearer with fewer wrinkles. Hopefully, he didn't get surgery to look younger, that would be a huge bummer.
Very interesting... my parents both also escaped persecution in Hungary. My parents (Szucs & Riesz) stowed away on a Japanese ship headed through the Panama Canal Landing in Brazil. My name on my birth certificate is Vera Arlin. Excellent topic and presentation!
This video is from 10 (infact 11) years ago and that has me really worried. Nothing has happened in 10 years so how do we know anything will happen in next 10, as he has promised.
Just watched a video (an interview of David Sinclair) of Dec. 2020, he looks even younger than he was in 2013, incredible!
Hi...could you tell me which video that is please? I saw one from 2019 and yes, he looked younger and wrinkle free too!
I knew David when he was just a school kid racing around the block in his V8 Charger. Proud of you bro.
This is such a sweet comment, makes this all seem cozy
Really?
I have met him too. He is a really great guy!
A decade later, David Sinclair looks YOUNGER than he did in this talk. Strong credibility.
He uses botox for sure.

Yes he does.

@@studywithkaran8491 You and the other botox clown have no idea what you're talking about.
"Take care of your cells, and they will take care of you."
I am convinced, after a life of paying attention to my health, that we age and are healthy at the cellular level - or not.
Hi steve, it's 2020, are you there?
Why is everyone not contributing to this research? The more that we collectively focus on this work, the more quickly we'll be able to cure aging altogether.
Apparently people like Jeff Bezos are investing billions into his research
What about healt industry? They won’t let it happen

Hai, hw are u dng now??
You can tell his research on epigenetics has been successful because of how much younger he looks now. Thank you for all your innovative research David Sinclair
You need to do some homework!
With some meditation, gym, fasting, yoga, ice-cold bath,... Etc you could stay younger.
Ever heard of surgery?
This is probably the greatest man of modern era
6 years later and if you see him now he looks younger at 51..... This man discovered something.....
I thought the same thing! 7 years later and he looks significantly younger.
It might be Botox. To me, in current interviews, it’s not hard to observe that his face is abnormally unexpressive. It doesn’t move...
He has a portrait in his closet.
It helps to have $. I don't think I can afford to be taking the products he's endorsing.
I noticed the same thing. If he is right, the science will show vary soon.
This video is life changing. We need more scientists and funding in aging research.
Stunning! My own observational research postulated that eating too much works your cells out, making them age quickly, so by eating moderate they work moderate and by starving you switch of the division of cells. Now these increases the lifespan of the cells and whole organ. hahaha so impressive!
It is true.
Exactly this is true fasting can give u longevity
2022. Dr. Sinclair looks much younger now. I just watched his very first episode on his own UA-cam channel. 👏🏻
He is an amazing man, an amazing scientist. Utmost respect to dr Sinclair
Dear Mr. David, Thank you for all your amazing work and PLEASE, do not ever quit. 🙏🙏🙏 My mom has Alzheimer's disease so any little hope is truly blessing. Good luck and all the best in your live as well as in your work.

Old news.
There's a lot of peer-review on pubmed that actually demonstrates that Vitamin D deficiency heavily contributes to age-related diseases (especially on a mental level - cognitive decline, bone issues, immune problems, muscular problems, etc.)
Keeping people healthy in their 'old age' isn't really difficult with what we know without synthetic drugs.
The RDA for Vitamin D3 should be in the range of 10 000 IU DAILY (for some people, it would be double - depending on their age, weight, etc.)
What I'm more interested in extending the Human lifespan beyond the 'paltry' potential 150 years of age.
+IVXCLD
Already had my D levels tested.
Here's the relevant data pertaining to Vitamin D RDA miscalculation:
www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2015/03/150317122458.htm
www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4210929/
As for glutathione restoration via ALA, R-ALA and NAC:
www.glutathioneexperts.com/pdfs/glutathione-hiv-8.pdf
www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/7857274
And association between centenarians and highl glutathione levels:

The role of Vitamin D for innate and adaptive immunity:
www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21419266
www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3738984/
Most elderly individuals (as well as most of the global population) seem to be vitamin D deficient.
Plus, the RDA was not revised to include much higher supplementation or sun exposure per the first link I posted about RDA being miscalculated.
Since Vitamin D also plays a role in genome stability (which was associated with ageing) as can be seen here:
www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/11295155
www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/25803084
Plus, here's a peer-review on B12 avaialbility in Nori-seaweed (for vegans) :
www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4042564/
Should provide compelling evidence for some studying and future research.
Since I'm friends with a GP, I'll try writing a scientific paper by combining these references for the purpose of ongoing research in life extension, immune function, etc.
+IVXCLD
91 ng may seem high, but according to peer review, its perfectly fine.
Here is the study:
www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4073139/
Heck, we don't even know if Humans have a 'fixed lifespan'.
Longevity might be correlated with dietary choices (considering that specific diets obviously have an effect on cardiovascular health, etc.)
But it also depends on balancing what you eat, with exercise, etc.
Would be grateful if you cleared me out on some more info (currently on 5000 UI D3, not sure if I should switch it up):
a) You're saying as a healthy individual you're having no backlashes from the high doses of Vitamin D(3)?
b) How long have you been taking it?
c) What effects have you been noticing during this time?
d) Are you taking NAC or R-ALA?
e) For how long?
f) Noticeable effects?
Perhaps you have some more info or detailed data from your use/experience that you would kindly share? A blog or smth?
If you'd rather not post here, you can PM me :) and thanks in advance! Already very informative.

a) I have had no backlashes from using 20 000 IU of Vitamin D3 daily.
b) I have been taking Vit D3, between 10 000 IU/20 000 IU for almost 1 year and 10 months now
c) In terms of visual evidence, I noticed that my skin is no longer dry for example and is much smoother (prior to starting D3 supplementation, I had dry skin which was relatively rough as well - this does correlate with peer review findings that D3 affects innate and adaptive immunity).
d) I am currently taking NA-RALA (a supposedly better form of R-ALA) occasionally - however, glutathione can be regenerated through sensible diet as well.
e) Been taking NA-RALA on and off for the past year
f) Nothing in terms of visual evidence, but considering that my chronological age is 32 (whereas my biological age seems to be placed at about 10 years below that), I am vegan and also go to the gym 4 times a week, I would imagine that I wouldn't notice too many effects as opposed to someone in their 50-ies - though it is possible that due to younger age and these precautions, I could be slowing down my ageing (or affecting my genetic structure in certain ways) for the better without even knowing it.

+Im Yu Here Here
+im going on holiday to Vietnam date Research has discovered that the life-extending aspect aspect of fasting is methionine -reduction.

I totally agree, Sameer. I can't believe people would just choose to die at the age of 100, sick and elderly - and I can't believe people just cast aside longevity research with the statement that "death comes eventually for everyone".
NOPE. It was the PLANTS!

Quite an analogy.
And deservingly so.

I just love the idea! We read his book and take NMN and resveratrol since January and can see fantastic results. Thank you David Sinclair!
U R an inspiration to us all God bless you David Sinclair and He loves U 🔥💯🌏
Wow, as I watch this, I just learned through my news feed “Little Richard has died at the age of 87”..... Sad that we don’t yet have the science to avoid such great losses....
I benefit from this anti-age technology and really thanks David.
This man is legend in real terms. Love ❤ from India for Mr. David Sinclair.
A company who works with herbs has created a product that activates all 7 Sirtuins. I just heard about it!!! It will be available starting 10/4/19. I plan to order mine that day. I have been taking a few other products this company has created for 8 years and offer them to my patients. I've been in alternative medicine for 13+ years. keep your mind curious, keep learning ,..
Learn greek if You can, it will help.
and excellent mood too!
I'm just curious, why is greek useful? What will it help with?
That's an impeccable insight into how a lot of people feel about aging!!!
So true, you don't grasp the reality of your mortality until you have children...
This reminds me I had exactly 4 years old, when i run to my mom crying because I made conscious about death, and tell her, I'll be alone, you, my dad, my aunts, my grandfather, my grandmother are gonna die and I'll stay alone.
I'd love to live forever to see as much of this incredible universe, as long as 'Everyone' can choose to live well as long as they choose? Not only the rich...
Heaven will be better
there are plenty of former rich people in cemetaries
David Sinclair is never boring I believe God has given him the chance to unlock 🔓 the mystery of aging
No, it's the scientific method, but you believe you...
I want to age well but I also want to embrace it :) I sometimes wish more Americans were interested in embracing it rather than prolonging youth.
Tu elección es si quieres envejecer pero luego no vengas con achaques y mierdas
I hope they develop this fast enough before i die... i never want to die.
I agree.
Same! Now you're thinking logically!
lol
Vasto:
You're not the only one. I do think drugs that will slow aging are slowly on the horizon. Just keep yourself healthy and work hard to make it to the day that the drugs are available.
I think if such a drug ever got developed it wouldn't be available for public use because of over population, or at least it would be extremely expencive..
Hi ! David ~I am reading your book now. From the beginning, It was pretty challenging for me to understand the lines because of lack of my scientific knowledge. This clip is very helpful and interesting. Keep up your exellent work for the bright future of humanity.
This is how the "Singularity" will be reached......when people are allowed to have extended lifespans...the knowledge increase will be unbelievably fast.
Yo creo que eso se puede hacer sin la tecnología también ser crudivegano y frugívoro
Is there anyone in 2019?
Kind of amazing how far thinking on this has changed in barely 6 years
Look at my reply to Edmission Massingue. YT is deleting my link. I'm super excited to tell you that now, 2019, we have the technology to turn on all 7 Sirtuins through NAD+. If you want to learn more, check this out. @t Happy to answer any questions. I've been in alternative medicine for 13+ years. I can't wait to have this available for everyone I know and love. lvnpd 4 @@t

Kaninma I know right, the difference in a dollar of funding could determine whether we are the last people to age for the first to not.
Why can't we drink grape juice without alcool? Hiperpression and pasteurization can work VERY Well With juices preserving resveratrol in larga amounts in juices. .
I take his supplement it's working great, it's called Niagen. I made a video about it, because it changed my life. I lost 20 pounds in 6 months and I feel like I'm in my early 20s. I'm almost 40 years old.
How much does his pill costs?
He also recommend eating Metformin, have you tried this? Thanks

I really wana meet you Dr. David Sinclair..
We need to find a way to stop aging DAMIT!!
Four years later...
Anyone who doubts this guy should watch the Ted Talk from one year ago by David Sinclair. He looks younger almost a decade later.
Sisel has done it with the A.G.E. Pill naturally thanks Tom Mower

Well, just fast if u don’t want to age faster 😊
I'm already too skinny : \
@@lauramakin834 people don’t understand one thing about fasting. It’s not only to get skinny. Fasting was used to heal and take care of health. Your body and mind works 100% when your hungry. 😊
His recommendation is eating Metformin even not in diabetes, just preventing. Is there anyone try this? Please share.
Luv U
Thank you for the insightful speech.

I was wondering if this guy had Botox done. And the answer is yes compared to his face not moving in his newer videos. There is nothing wrong with cosmetic anti-aging procedures but people actually think he “reversed” his wrinkles. Any dermatology will tell you that’s not possible with a diet.
if aging gets reversed, reproduction should too.
That's true. There won't be as big a need to reproduce.
reversed right back in to the womb
Actually the research on mice with NDA did exactly that, mice that had stopped reproducing due to age had started reproducing again. Not enough studies on humans tho.
by the time we cure aging we will be also start living in another planets, so it is not a problem :)
😲 Living forever... nooo@ I do not need .Dying has his reason too in Life
I have an unashamedly Buddhist view of death, which is to look into the mind that perceives death as a problem and see if that is really the case. The answer from many Buddhist masters over the millennia? Amidst all the coming and going, there is a presence that never dies.
But a very long live can enable us to _realize_ that truth in this very body, in this very life.
#supportSENSfoundation we need to move this hashtag through the youtuber's channel to incourage people to donate!..
Has he unlocked the mystery or is he near to solving it
Think about it; from age 50 or so you start getting sick & everything will chronically hurt no sleep at night every night with brain damage as consequence. You simply get no rest even at night... Then you miserably get to age 80 & then you have 40% chance of getting dementia.. Life is truly about survival & old age takes up a big part of life.
only cooked food eaters have to deal w/ this lol
@@Saturns_Return nooooooo
Video starts at 8:00 , until then the guy talks about his grandmother and unsuccessfully tries to make you feel.
Can somebody help me with the name of that pill that he was holding, please?
metformin
Resveratrol. U can find it on Amazon.
I think David should consider in his studies about REDOX SIGNALING MOLECULES that is the one responsible in all cellular activities even in the opening and closing of genetic buttons.
He does look younger nowadays in latest videos. Need to understand more. Thanks

I believe him almost soley based on the fact that he looks younger now than he does in this video Lmao
Haha, nobody has any real effective treatment yet. At most you can increase your life by 10% by living healthy. But hopefully it will come.
So do we just need to fast ? Stop eating sugar and eat only vegetables??
I am 28 and I started seeing wrinkles that wont go away !
I feel like I am aging rapidly, stress is overwhelming me and I don't know how to really fix it !
OMG! He looks much younger NOW! Watch some of his recent videos...WOW!
yeah it looks like his hairline got better/thicker and his skin got clearer with fewer wrinkles. Hopefully, he didn't get surgery to look younger, that would be a huge bummer.
What a fascinating presentation !
Very interesting... my parents both also escaped persecution in Hungary. My parents (Szucs & Riesz) stowed away on a Japanese ship headed through the Panama Canal Landing in Brazil. My name on my birth certificate is Vera Arlin. Excellent topic and presentation!
What about cure for chronic diseases!!!! These deserves more attention than any other issues!!!!
Thank you David for a great research keep on going this is something that wants to manifest from the source and it's going to happen.........somehow
AGE Reversal age backwards we can go back in real life
@Colin h venía a decir eso la entropía tiene muchísimo que ver
This video is from 10 (infact 11) years ago and that has me really worried. Nothing has happened in 10 years so how do we know anything will happen in next 10, as he has promised.
In my opinion, other ways of living longer, besides the great advice given, are to spend less, work less, walk more, sleep more to name a few.
Pero la gente dice si no trabajas de que comes
Thank you Dr. D Sinclair
