It's a good thing I'm NOT a doc ! We try to have fun with everything we do together. Life's too short to act otherwise...especially at our age. Thanks for dropping by....it means a LOT to us !
You had me confused Bluz and I've been backing helicopters and trailers for years!!! I guess when I think about what to do I get screwed up! Flounder Girl did awesome! This was a great lesson...and video bud! You two are hilarious....need to go live more often and entertain....I'm telling you!!
I dont think kids or young people even know HOW to drive a stick anymore. They've never seen one. I actually prefer them. Less junk to break ! Thanks for stopping in !
I hear you. Used to back my little short race bike trailers as a youngster. True story: While I was waiting for my job to open at a defense contracting firm who was going to pay my college tuition, I took a job at a milk processing plant for 2 months. One HOT friday afternoon, a driver left his truck full of raw milk outside the bay, rushed off after asking me to back it inside before I left. Bad Idea ! So I thought it was just like my motorcycle trailers and would be a snap. Wrong. After at least 50 attempts to get it inside those narrow doors, I left it out there and went to tell the boss....who wasnt there. By this time NO ONE was there besides a secretary and janitor. I tried a dozen more times and finally gave up and went home. I confessed my sin early the next morning to the boss, thinking he'd be mad. He wasnt. He was mad at the guy who left it and all the other guys who saw me struggling to back it in there before they left. Lesson learned. I'll do MY job ( receive milk)....you do YOURS. Thanks for stopping by !
Wow, that's high praise, coming from a professional ! I really never stopped to think about how I back it, until I had to tell her. Thanks so much for watching !
Noo.....you didnt just call her that ! You'd better run and hide before she reads this ! She's in VERY good shape and might kick you in the head ! haha ! Thanks for dropping by.
That's great ! I bet he loves that ! It's almost easier to teach her to operate the boat when I back down...lol I can do it myself inside of 2 minutes, including parking the Jeep...lol !
hahaha if god doesn't punish you she will!! hey, she got it!!! probably better than I would hahaha.. good job!! great video I learned something today thanks :)
Yep, that's what I'm afraid of....her wrath ! Not a man on earth frightens me, but this little lady scares the heck outta' me ! Thanks for stopping by !
You are right about that , boss ! I'm the only diver of the two and dont care much for submarines ! That 5.7 Hemi is strong, but it aint THAT strong ! Thanks for stopping in, Wes !
I like it a lot for how I use it....which is mainly in skinny water. I dropped by Powertech, here in town and spoke with them at length about what I wanted it to do for me....which was get up fast in a foot or less. This particular one has a lot of stern lift, ,but it limits your top end a lot. It revs to 4K in about 1 second from a dead stop...so it's doing it's job. They say you really need a 4 blade on these boats due to blow out on turns if you're jacked up and trimmed.
BluzGuitar Guy Fishing Thanks that’s good info! The Yamaha prop on mine has decent Stern lift I can normally run in a foot of water on plain. I get pretty bad blowout in turns as well, so I’m definitely gonna look into it.
@@JDavid334 Running on plane is one thing. Getting UP in a 10-12 inches is another. My boat is the light one....the 180V-90. it's only 995 lbs...and the Yamaha is 264. So if yours is the 18 VX 135, it will be heavier....so my particular prop (Powertech RBX...with 5/16" vent holes) wouldnt be correct for yours. I will try different ones this summer since Powertech is a local company and I can probably get loaners to try. I think I need a bit more cup in mine due to slippage at high speeds. Try some different ones before you spend $500-600. Good luck !
Thank you ! I get a little irritated when a man yells at his wife or girlfriend at the ramp....it's like...."really, dude ? Do it yourself !" I've even offered to back the trailer for her....and have done so. But it's usually the wake board boaters that take all the time on the ramp....not fishermen. Thanks for stopping by !
I can't back up a grocery cart. LOL Dropping in with support for your awesome channel. Big ol Thumbs up for you. Drop by my channel and see me soon. xoxo

I’ve got a 03 18’ Kenner tunnel with a 90. How do you like that 4 blade prop? I’m running a 15k pitch 3 blade.

No yelling at the boat ramp. That should be posted at every ramp. lol No wait, I'd never make it into the water. Congrats on 1000 bud
