Melissa and Kevin story is definitely how I see my ex-husband and I. However, I told him after the fact if he just came after me I would have stayed. After he started going through stuff with other women he dated he told me he wish he would have fought for me and the kids. I admit, like Laterras, I didn’t have integrity so I cheated because I was searching what I wanted him to give which was the biggest bad choice of my life. I told my ex-husband and he forgave me. Pride on both of our parts contributed to where we are. I beg of people put your pride aside and fight for your marriage. You have to water the grass no matter where you go❤🙏🏽

Stage Krew here! Absolutely great interview! I’ve been married 31+ years. At one point I wanted to do a vow renewal but that desire faded away. I was like “wants the point”. However, Liss’s rationale makes so much sense and holds so much truth. If God allows 50 years, maybe I’ll revisit the idea for our golden anniversary.

I'm ALREADY excited about todays episode (just from the intro!!!!) It is a joy watching the transparency of Kevin and Melissa. She is So very correct the vows hit totally different after 20 years!!! 25 years ago We made a vow "through sickness and in health" not knowing sickness meant no more ambulating...we made a vow "for rich or poor" not knowing that a bankruptcy & foreclosure was down the road.
