How about this for a myth: Playing as Toadette while freeing the caged Toadette will make the game crash. My guess is that this is false but still worth checking out

Why would it crash? The game treat the caged Toadette and playable Toadette as different entities.

Yeah, funnly enough, in SMM1, crounching with an shellment, makes you unalbe to get hurt an enemy, if he walks towards the player...😅
