Kidpool & Ladypool (regular & Special Edition) is up at Sideshow with RSVP. Just no date on when pre-order goes live. Today (July 26th, 2024) able to pre-order both the battle damaged Vader Deluxe/Special Edition and Artisan Ledger "Batman Imposter" Joker too. Seems Imposter Joker as Artisan wasn't a mover like Artisan Joker. Eventually Imposter Joker pre-order stopped and went on Waitlist at Sideshow 30 - 40 mins later after pre-order went live.
July 25th pre-order the Deadpool (Special Edition) along side Wolverine (Deluxe Edition) at Sideshow. Waited for Deadpool so can pair both as pre-order in one go. #BFF #LFG

@@KaijuDaddyJapan No worries. For now it may seem Sideshow can be a place that's pain to order from, but for me from Canada actually ain't bad. I use DHL with shipping and usually gets to me super quick in matter of two days from California to Ontario Canada and I never get custom charge from it.
In Canada we also have third party retail that deals with Hot Toys as well and pricing is decent, but usually close or the same like Sideshow in USD without the shipment cost. Been with Sideshow since 2008 and I would say their reward system is great and the more you buy, the more rewards point you accumulate and use towards future purchase/pre-order. Also free event/show/con $ rewards too when sign up before attending. Monthly payment to ease the payment pain and customer service is A1 in my opinion as well.
There's + & - for Sideshow compare to local retailer, but its what one offers more and service that's worth the time to stick to.

Hey, just got into your videos about toy sapiens, and was wondering a few things. I’m planning on taking a trip to Japan and definitely want to visit for the hot toys, but curious about how buying works since i’ve never been. Can you just walk in and buy hot toys that are in stock? Like how you mentioned picking up wolverine and deadpool? Or do you need to order in advance and pick up another day?
You can walk in and buy whatever is in stock. You can’t order from their website with a credit card that’s not Japanese but that’s not a problem in the shop.

I'm arriving at Toyo Sapiens now. Doubt I'll buy much though. I want Deadpool, but just because I enjoyed the movie so much. With all the Star Wars and Spider verse releases incoming, I need to be sensible. I wish they had the tiger stripe Wolverine on sale.

A little bit of everything. Learning & Development type work ain’t so bad. How’s the crowd? I got there at 10:50am. My reservation was for when the store opened at 11am. Already a ton of people inside. I’m heading back tomorrow

@@KaijuDaddyJapan I had a reservation for 5pm, but I didn't need to use it. They're just letting people in. Busier than usual, but not packed. Surprised that the shelves are still packed full of Deadpools and Wolverines. I thought they'd sell out on the first day. Some customer share are dressed in Marvel cosplay, even though they're not part of the event lol
