Thanks Owain! I'll let you know when I get onto Director on VATSIM haha. I see it as a fun thing to do as a hobby to be honest - while it is similar in many ways, there are a lot of ways that it is different to the real world. Good for learning a lot of the airport specifics though!
Alexander Drummond 's 3rd channel just Google VATSIM for whichever country you're in and check out the training process.
I just happened to come by your first Heathrow ground video on UA-cam. Glad to see you've made another. Hope you reach Tower level soon. I bet it'd be a ton more interesting to see. Liked, and subscribed! :)

1How much is the course
2 how long is it
3 what's there pay
4 and how stressful is it
5 minimum school/health requirements

Would be cool if they could incorporate the ability to talk to AI traffic like Tower 3D Pro.

Hi from Australia🇦🇺. Just found your channel. Great to see what happens on the other side of VatSim. Time zones preclude me from watching your streams live. Usually pushing out the 💤💤. Would be fun to watch when you've got Tower working above you for handoffs and is fairly busy. I'm still very much learning VatSim from a pilot role. Nice to know not every controller is going to go off at you for making mistakes. Keep up the posts.👍

It's free software called VATSIM, but there is a fair amount of training involved!

Hey Clarky - may have missed you saying this - but what is the red area in the east side of the airport?
I believe that it is development work on Terminal 2, that's been going on for a few years - I'd have to double check though!

That's funny to hear you used to/occasionally work at EGTF. In that case I've definitely spoken to you at some point (flying a G2) and thanks to the FISOs at Fairoaks for passing on details to Heathrow Radar before a flight around the Heliroutes! Small world to watch you now streaming VATSIM.

I'm 100hrs into msfs2020 and passed the test for vatsim but too scared to try it! 🤣 You seem a really friendly guy so hope there all like you ☺️

They're so professional that I'm always scared to muck things up myself. Very hesitant and nervous every time I do a flight using VATSIM.
But, even though I always do something wrong, the controllers are great and helpfull. Must have been there themselves at some point I guess

I believe it's just the UK Controller Plugin and vSMR. I've not really touched it since setting up!
@@ClarkyAv Your tabs are different, for example their callsigns dont show until theyre squawking etc, and the colours are different etc
IntoFlying I'm not sure why - I've not really played with the settings at all!
@@alexl7780 the display settings are all user configurable. Display also change depending on the plungin used and the choice of SMR vSMR opened.
