Saw a show years ago and he was like I’m a human juke box, after him do Nutshell, Black, Sober n Blood n fire to name a few, He could certainly earn the nickname human jukebox, so freakin good.

This man and i go way back, he doesn't know it but if it was not for his inspiration that he gave to me while listening to his god gifted voice i would never have made it through 4 years of high school 4 years of college and another 4 years in medical school, this man and some of his friends are the reason i am the man that i have become, the lives i have saved i credit it to them , literally they were there every step of the way . The times i just wanted to quit and didn't , i thank you and your friends, i can still hear my mother coming into my room late at night saying to get some sleep you have exams in the morning and stop listening to that stuff it will give you brain damage, and mom was the reason i became a brain surgeon god rest her soul, she was the best mother on the planet, and to my father who said boy you ain't never going to amount to anything, well dad there are a few people that could argue that point today, oh and it's not boy anymore it's Dr. Hall

I can honestly say when Aaron went country I was pissed because I relate so much with Staind. Now obviously many years later I listen to that familiar voice country or not and get cold chills. Plus his political views are spot fucking on though he’s closer to my age they are words I constantly heard growing up. When shit is right you feel it in your bones then shit is right.

I agree 100% one of the best to do it but I never got my chance I'd give him a run for his money if given that chance it's funny how he and I are from different sides of the tracks but it feels like he and I are one in the same as singer/songwriters just like me we give it to ya straight from the real shit my hats of to Aaron Lewis he might not see it this way but he is doing the lord's work in his own way and I'm sure he has a special place in heaven just waiting for him when this life is over and maybe then we could have a few moments to create something together to perform on the a bench next to Elvis,s house across fromthe golden st by heartbreaks nomore. lol
Is it me, or does Aaron Lewis' voice touch the core of your soul too? he's definitely connecting with something. My brother and I won radio tickets to Atlanta show March 25th 2010 w/ sound check and backstage. Never have met a more genuine human being in my life. Can't wait to revisit March 4th show, taking extended family of 8 (and counting), can't wait.

I just start playing guitar just after Christmas. I used to play some years ago, but was never really good. I started getting used to it again and decided to tune my guitar down 1/2 step last night and played "Its been awhile" nothing bit goosebumps. Aaron and Staind has helped me so much through the years!
Keep going. I play drums but can't in lockdown as my neybores are so boring so I've picked up my guitar again. I'm loving every minute although not the finger pain. I tried the tuning down thing. So many great songs.

I've loved Aaron's voice since the Stained and Stern days. This man is a national treasure to go from grunge/rock to country and be able to almost spit out anything in between. Aaron doing Nutshell live is wicked. Not only Nutshell but the banter leading up to Nutshell. I believe Aaron is the only one who can cover Layne Staley properly. The man is godly gifted for sure.

Well shit, there still is good music left, thanks man I needed this. The guy has a voice that carries like the late great Layne Staley. In fact I think he might be the only one that could pull off Layne Staley's AIC songs with that robust vocal range.

Aaron is many things to me, I have pics of us shaking hands, having a soda backstage and him leaving the stage after that show, one of my favorite concerts . Sometimes when I am low he is my sponsor...never went to an AA or NA meeting in my life but I understand what that term of endearment means and stands for. Some times I go to my garage while my family sleeps and have a few and listen and get my bad shit out and am humbled to be their father in the morning.....therapy I say....therapy. Thanks buddy
