Wonderful tribute to Rory from Gerry and the boys. I never heard Gerry sing before and he has a great voice. Saw Rory whipping up a storm once or twice back in the 70's in Bristol UK. Nobody like him then or now.

I was lucky enough to see him twice in 74 and 76 The Shrine auditorium LA. The kind of experience that inspired me. and probably the other 5,000 fans.
Your powerful performance is enough to envision Gallagher today. If he were alive, he would be playing just as powerfully and sweating as he did 50.years ago. Thank you very much.

If anyone lives near Reading (uk), there is an exhibition at Reading museum, celebrating the first ever Reading festival (1971) - at which Rory and his band stole the show. Fascinating exhibition of musical and social history but the star exhibit is the Tele Rory played at the festival. The Gallagher estate have loaned the guitar plus Rory’s AC30 amp/blues slide and other bits and bobs etc. I have no connection with the museum or the exhibition - I just happen to live nearby - but the chance to press your nose to the glass (as I did myself) and look at Rorys guitar and amp at such close quarters is too good to miss. The exhibition runs to January 2022 and is free admission!
Wonderful but I still can't watch or listen to Rory as I really do fall apart every time, even after all these years. He was a one off genius, never to be followed or replaced. 💔😥

I watch this with mixed emotions. It's great to see them keeping Rory's music alive, but I have tears in my eyes wishing that dear Rory was still here and able to play the album in its entirety on its 50th anniversary. Love you, Rory. Miss you so much.

Thank you gentlemen. I live in Australia and it means so much to so many down here that you pay tribute to a brilliant album, band and player. Gerry - an absolute gun - loved watching you. If memory serves me correctly you toured down here with Rory in the early 80’s and played at the Capitol Theatre in Sydney. A gig I will never forget.

Just lovely singing Gerry. Remembering a fantastic mad gig in Lisdoon with Van the Man. We’re driving in and the car boot is Jammed wit bottles of home brew. The Guard took one look and said on ye go. Great times. Every time we saw Rory in Dublin he was just so humble and brilliant .

My first intro to RG was on Flemish TV showing the complete LIVE IN EUROPE performance in the early 70.
I hope next year we will see the 50 th edition of that record!!

Oh my God ! The Memories ! Excellent ! A Must Have !
This actually brought a tear to my eye, as a bassist that dabbles in guitar Gerry and Rory have been heroes to me really. Seeing Gerry and Brendon play with NBZ was as good as I got as I'd only known about Rory for a couple of years before he passed and obviously never got to see him. To hear these songs played with so much love was a treat of the highest order.
Laundromat...the first song of Rory’s I really got into when I was 14 or 15. I still love it :) I only saw him once, at the Marquee in Wardour St, which was an amazing night. I saw Band of Friends in Spain, with Ted McKenna, and they were fantastic. This music is immortal.

I’m in St. Louis too, and I once had the honor of serving Rory and his band at O’Connell’s Pub, where I worked as a bartender.
First gig I ever saw was Taste at Barry Memorial Hall, Rory came on, started playing ‘What’s Going On’ - the place went crazy and my life changed forever rip Rory
I was at that gig, amazing night.
"Fantastic" Rory always played my home town" Newcastle City Hall" I was always upfront" "Sweating with Rory and the other 2000 peolple". Got all his records, 2021 still love playing them, "Michael Schenker cites Rory and Leslie West as his inspiration, These guys are as good as it gets" love it,

I first saw Rory about 1977 on American TV, Don Kirshner’s Rock Concert. I was absolutely blown away. I then caught them locally about 1980 at a little place in Schaumburg Illinois called Beginnings. I caught Gerry with Davy Knowles about two years ago in Evanston Illinois at a little spot called Space. I met both Rory and Gerry. Both nice guys. Fine music.
How could I have missed this guy,he is right up there with SRV, bad management I guess! Wow just wow! Watch him play moon child, the guy is a beast! RIP

I Fall Apart, written in 1971, has a guitar solo(18 minutes mark) that is so familiar with what a British band played on their 1974 huge hit.

Thanks Gerry! I can't properly express the warm happy feeling in my heart after watching this. You sound fantastic and I would love a chance to see this lineup of the band. I last saw the band at the Dakota in Minneapolis in what must have been one of Ted"s last gigs a couple years ago. I loved chatting with you and I really enjoyed reading your book. It really helped me come to grips with my heroes passing at last. Please make the trip across the pond again soon you still have many fans in our Midwest part of the country.
