ring finger - Reverse
little finger- not used
Bonus: score board is on touch pad, i use my right index finger to press it. quick chat directional keys, except for team chat which is on R3, i use my left thumb.

The quarter flips at the beginning, you can do those on backflips as well as frontflips, you just swap air roll left and right when you do a backflip

u can achieve similar turn effects without air roll left and right by flip cancelling as well, except on speedflips since you've already done the flip cancel
yeah true, i found with normal air roll the ones going back were more awkward though, like you have to cancel down then rotate a little then air roll out, or you could use some sort of diagonal flip. With air roll right or left its just simpler and can be done out of fronts and diagonal flips easily. T
@@NightRyder yh true, I just do the flip cancel turns by feel really lol, and they do require some readjustment which probably can waste valuable milliseconds, and it seems more straightforward the air roll left and right way

I know this is a super old thread but quick question about using cancels to get the same effect since I’ve never seen it spoken about or taught but have noticed it while messing around. In order to do it cleanly do you trigger the cancel immediately after flipping or do you wait a bit? And do you cancel it straight down/up or in the true opposite direction of your flip?
Here’s an example since that might’ve been confusing. Let’s say you’re looking to turn 45° left using the flip cancel method. After you trigger the initial flip with the left stick pointing NW (compass directions) would you cancel it by pulling your stick straight S or SE?

At first it just seems like you are showing off by air rolling but it's actually an effective thing to do which is really cool

Monkeymoon was really good on console, switched to pc nd became one of the best 3s players, I think you would be able to go pro if you switch.

@@NightRyder yeah he was great on console, but still no way near the level of the best pc players, but when he moved he had a hugeee improvement. Squishy said in his recent video, one of the best ways of getting better is to get better peripherals, 60 fps is restricting you, theyre not even bringing 120 fps to ps5 rip
