I tried the recipe and served this Champurrado to friends and family and it has drawn so much accolade and celebration. My family has a new tradition that we have made part of our tradition. EVERYONE loves the video's lovely Grandmother's Champurrado. "The best I have ever had" is always in the conversation, credit is always conveyed and attributed to your family, may I convey a heart felt Thank You! -Dom

I’ve been using this video to make my champurrado for the past 3years and I’ve always loved your grandmas videos, I also learned to make arroz con leche through another one of her videos! & just now did I go on your page and see that this video is 10years old & I saw the “Remember me” tribute to your loved ones🥹 I definitely cried let’s just say that!🥹 . . may she rest in peace! She definitely left an imprint in my heart through her videos❤🥹🕊️🫶

For some reason people in Mexico are and were more creative with their food and drinks. Too many restaurants claim to serve authentic Mexican food and the food is horrible. I love to cook and make homemade drinks. Thumbs up to you and your abuela. Funny, but I'm sure she was used to cooking over an open wooden fire. Her recipe doesn't use measurements cause it's all from the heart; that's where people lose the taste. This recipe is priceless.

It is so nice to see that your abuelita helps you to prepare this recipe. In Mexico, older folks are more respected than in the U.S. (I lived in Monterrey in Nuevo Leon in the 1970s). I absolutely loved it! I enjoyed the delicious food and, of course, the beautiful people of Mexico. !Que viva Mexico para siempre!

I use the maseca but my grandma taught me to toast the dry masa in a dry pan before she mixed it with water and then into the chocolate milk mixture. It makes the masa taste better. It kind of tasted like pinole. It was delicious.

@@estera.1568 Sorry ese ya no es champurrado, ese es atole y hasta lo puedes usar para hacer un milkshake, make it follow instructions and then when is cold just add it to your blender and you can add fruit, and more milk and woala!!👍😊🤗

"Ya se chivio" LOL please, let your abuelita know that she is an AMAZING cook and to please keep up the cooking videos as much as she can... I'll NEVER get tired of watching her :) She reminds me a lot of my grandma... how she takes the time in sharing her recipes with us grand kids. Las tradiciones de familia are the best gift a mother or grandmother can pass a long to us. Great job! Blessings!

Don't worry, us Mexicans don't need accurate measurements. We know them by visualizing.

maybe that's why the culture is broke and below the standard. Need to measure and create that culture, in every aspect of life, transform to budgeting. Mexican is a great culture, it is so sad that they work for less, do all for less instead of measuring high for their value.

This hit home, you are very lucky to have someone in your family pass this done to you. If you really think about it, your grandma is showing the world how to make this. I will pass on this to my family this Christmas. Thank you for sharing.
