i never understood why some people say a game sucks cuz the community is bad like, buddy, the developers cant control everyone 😭and besides people listen to vocal minorities of fandoms that act annoying or whatever way too often
Honestly I feel the same but tbh I always play videogames like two years minimum after it’s release when hype dies down purely by accident anyway lmfao
Gaming was way more exiting in the brain of a 7 year old. I remember the feeling when i finally beat wii sports obstacle course. Its just not as good anymore
I’m adhd so I can have fun staring at changing colours if I’m hyperfixated on it. Honestly I’m really critical about storylines and I think I always have been because my pretentious 7 year old self always wanted a unique opinion for some fucking reason- but critiquing is pretty fun for me. As a kid I played animal crossing new leaf like everyday on summer break and honest to god I would always reset my town. A lot of people feel like video games aren’t that fun anymore and to be honest I think it’s because you start looking at games as wasting time when you could be working or doing something “productive.” I used to feel like this and honestly my therapist said that spending a total of two years of my life (we did the math) is probably not the best thing I could be doing with my time. However, I found making videos for video games I’m hyperfixated on helps me feel like I’m not wasting my my time and I wish I had enough influence to recommend it to lots of people feeling like they don’t like videogames anymore.
I get the most enjoyment in any media when I have time to do so. If there is a thing I should do, or a deadline approaching, that may interfere with my enjoyment. That is purely an adult thing, to be THAT busy. 'Cause I remember fighting boredom, as a kid, and that was when I was the most creative and the most receptive to games. Social media is part of the fault too, here. I have so much to tell, to see, to search, to be informed of, that I literally ejected boredom of my life, and so, I must fight for my gaming time to be
when i was young only thing im playing is freaking Mickey mouse platformer and bunch of lego games on my 3ds cause i was like "Omg lego gimme" and after i finished i was like wait what already? so than i played it again and again and... so yeah. and great video again
I feel like I'll love games for a long ass time. Yeah I definitely used to like "live" in the game, that being I'd just screw around and create a narrative in the game. (I.E. in Need for Speed Underground 2 there's an airport. I seem to remember a thing where I'd go "pick someone up from the airport" and drive them around. Times were a lot simpler then.)
Only real one's know about ty
