These are beautiful ordered the templates, have ordered the Stoff material the bias gold roll, and the twin needles. I am excited to make these. Tammy always does a wonder job as an instructor as does Jennifer.

I just finished a stained glass window wall hanging and I had problems with tension at the beginning. Thank you for giving so many good advice ! The placemat is beautiful !
You gave us so many helpful tips to use the twin needles and the metallic thread. Thank you. I was just putting together an order for fabric to Shabby Fabric and had to add the Creative Grids Scrap Crazy Templates. I might make placemats because they look wonderful. What I actually ordered them for is 3 crazy quilts that my daughters want me to make for them using their late father's shirts. These templates will make great blocks so I don't have top totally wing it.
Thanks Tammy your tip on tensioning (and using a twin needle) might just get me to do my little stained glass project I've been wanting to do but scared to try. Merry Christmas
Thank you for showing how to use the twin needle. You make it look so not scary at all, I’m going to have to try that. I’m a late sewing bloomer and hope I have abt 10+ more years to be able to do everything I want to do. Where does one find the Glitter Bias Tape?

@@ShabbyFabrics thanks for the response. I'm looking for the specific gold color that was used. It is not listed in the link you shared. All it says is that you need a 2 piece thread set with a link that does not go to the thread set. I just want to match the bias tape and there are several metallic gold threads on your website to choose from.
Thank you. I’ve been sewing for over 60 yrs. and I never have used a twin needle before. But I’m going to do so now. Thank you again.❤

Beautiful placemats! Is there a reason you didn't bring the dual feed down on your 20D foot?
Hi Wendy - Tammy did use the dual feed with her 20D foot while using the twin needles :) Hope this helps! -Michelle
Hi I just love these placemats. Do you know if you sell just the pattern only?

Was there a particular reason you did not add the gold bias tape to the border seams?
We are following the pattern but you can add the bias tape anywhere you'd like. Thanks for your comment! - Abby
