Fury: What did this bar look like?
Phil: What?
(Fury throws a table next to Coulson)
Fury: What country are you from?!
Phil: Wa-what?

Everyone in SHIELD calls them FitzSimmons, even Agent Robert Gonzalez. You never get one without the other unless you kidnap them separately.

How is it that I came down into the comments to say just this and I see it is the top comment. The world is a great place.
“We’re gonna have to kill the fish tank “
Clark Gregg’s comic timing is impeccable
I remember reading that Clark adlibbed that last line.
It's funny because both of them started as mere agents and buddies. Coulson acts that way because he's director now, but professionalism aside, they're actually very close.
He's not director yet. This is only a few episodes into season 1.

I love how they were actually going to put in a fish tank.
After everything Coulson and the team has been through they earned that fish tank.

@@SimbaTheGoldenDoodleOfficial Nice lol!

Best part about this scene is how despite the fact Fury's chewing Coulson out you can tell he's not overly upset and is more like your best friend pointing out a fuck up you did rather than your boss getting pissed at you for missing a deadline or ruining a company printer

Fury did but Coulson never died from what we know.
Let’s be honest, all Fury was mad about was the damaged bar.😂
Coulson can look right into Fury's eye while being reamed instead of studying the floor. Respect.
Coulson once reamed Fury and Fury handed over the title of Director of SHIELD to him
Somehow, even without knowing, I knew when Fury mentioned a fish tank that somehow Coulson was going to be putting one in.
I'm dissapointed the zeffer didn't have one.
Coulson always looks like he is about to laugh, or he knows something you dont.
yeah😭, pretty sure Coulson made this 🙂 emoji, i mean, his face always like hes about to laugh all the time and always smile
Both wanting to laugh and knowing something you don't are 100% accurate for him.
Yeah! He usually does know something else..
You gotta admit, before Disney+ ABC did good with Agents Of shields...it was like being in the Marvel universe again and again every week.
I mean it’s still considered canon right?
They haven’t said otherwise really. Besides the Darkhold being totally different.
@@dreworyan5652 Yes, the show has always been canon, regardless of the Darkhold. No one ever decanonized the show.
@Milkyway2099 The show will remain canon unless Kevin Feige explicitly says otherwise.
The show felt like it was a part of the universe for the first two or three seasons but then afterwards, it started feeling less and less canon because it felt like stuff that was happening in the show should have been acknowledged in the greater MCU but it wasn't. Then the snap happened and obviously they didn't even address it and I lost all hope of it actually being canon. It seems like they diverged into an Alternate Universe, maybe in Season 5, and never came back which sucks.
They referenced Thanos casually in Season 5 and I got my hopes up that they actually were still being informed about the plot in the MCU and could build around it and was pretty excited to see the snap happen in the show... then nothing. That was when I really lost hope it was canon. Then when they said they were delaying season 6 until after Infinity Wars, I was so excited and thought they were definitely going to address it and just weren't told about the snap because they wanted to keep it from spreading but could tackle it now in the new season even if it would be kind of off timing wise. Then Season 6 completely ignored it (and it was probably my least favorite season to be honest) and moved on to their own stuff and, welp, I guess that was that.
At least Season 7 was pretty great and ended on a good note, but yeah... I think it diverged from MCU canon a long time ago and never came back because the MCU writers just didn't feel like bringing the TV writers into the know like they did back in the first season.
@@Xelltrix The whole show has always been canon, regardless of the connections with movies, or the Snap issue (which is not a contradiction). The canonicity doesn't depends on the connections with other things.
Man i miss this version of Fury. Nick Fury was always like this throughout the MCU and now he is nothing like the 616 fury or the 1610 fury.
