Hey guys,
I am a Nurse Practitioner (NP) here in Melbourne, Australia. Probably most of you do not know what a Nurse Practitioner is. I have explained it briefly in this video but as I make more videos about Nurse Practitioner you will slowly know what Nurse Practitioners actually do. Basically, they are Registered Nurses with extended scope of practice to include prescribing medications, diagnosing diseases, ordering diagnostic tests such as blood tests and imaging like x-rays, etc.
In this video, I will show you 1 of my 3 workplaces, this video was filmed at my Private Practice. I mainly see patients with Diabetes. The other two roles that I do are: Custody Health (Alcohol and other Drugs) and Men's Sexual Health.

@@nataliatierzbartolome2306 great. Your first step is enquiring at a university that offers a Master in NP course. I think QUT offers it in Qld
@@RyanHealthAndVlogs i already have a master's degree in science of nursing and a primary health care speciality (clinical internship) from my country. So I was thinking about trying to apply to the NP endorsement here.
@@nataliatierzbartolome2306 there are certain subjects or units that you need to study as a pre requisite for endorsement. You can contact the university and AHPRA. There are specific requirements for endorsement. There are hours that need to finish and units that need to be studied before endorsement. A specific Master in NP has all the units needed. Go to the university website and search for the course, look at the units and see if they are the same with the ones you have already completed. I have known few who have Master degree but they are not specific NP masters so they need to study some of the units needed and the hours needed for endorsement. There is more to it really. Check AHPRA website all in there :)

Hello po I am planning to be a NP too someday and sadly there are no universities here in the Philippines that offers NP education. Do I need to go outside the Philippines to apply a NP education???
