I’ve seen many resort reviews and yours is by far the best...excellent in fact. The filming was perfect and the information wonderful. We usually stay in an all inclusive an hour south of Cancun ( Bahia Principe ) but are considering the hotel zone. Because of this review, we will put this one on our radar! 👏🇨🇦
I was between Dreams Sands and this Wyndham and you've shown what a better value this is. The water looks calmer at Dreams Sands but overall the Wyndham looks much luxe.
Fantastic review! 🎉 The Wyndham Alltra Cancun seems like a dream with its beautiful location and variety of activities. Loved your detailed take on the dining options and entertainment-sounds like there's something for everyone. Your description of the resort’s vibe and amenities has me excited to visit. Thanks for sharing such a thorough and enthusiastic review! 🏝✨

Good afternoon. Excellent video the quality and details are more than satisfactory! Will Be staying here next month with a 5 and 8’yrs old. Question do I need to make reservations for the main restaurants in the resort in advance ?
Thank you for this review. We have been to many luxurious resorts in Riveria Maya and Playa Mujures; however, we don't use all of the amenities and want to travel more often but don't need the hoopla or prices we've been paying. I think, after this review, we will book this resort!
Yes that’s my theory for just about all resorts in North America- the difference between an $800 resort and a $400 resort is not enough to make it worth it… you’ll see near 20 Mexico and Hawaii resorts coming to the channel over the next 18 months.
Perfect video! Enjoyed the descriptions and speed of the commentary. Question- traveling with 4yr old and narrowed down to Iberostar cancun select and Wyndham Alltra. Main reason, family pool and kids camp. Your opinion is greatly appreciated.
What a great review, i really enjoyed your perspective and opinions! Just a little question, do you know if there's 24h room service? Or room service at all? Thanks!
Amazing review, I'm traveling with my mother to this resort and your review is excellent, we will take recommendations metioned here. I would have loved a little bit more of the kids area since we're traveling with kids. I'm trying to keep my expectations low, so lets see how it goes.
Honestly, probably the buffet- simply because the dinner buffets there were far better than you’d expect from an all-inclusive 4-star resort. A close second would be the Mexican restaurant but, I wasn’t a fan of the atmosphere. Too small, too warm, too dark. The other spots for dinner were good, but closer to what you’d expect from this sort of property. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
I’m not sure if I’d call it a water park per say, but at the street-side pool there is a kids area. I believe you can see it in the video. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻

thanks for the videos. I'm trying to decide between RIU Latino and Wyndham Alltra Cancun. which resort do you recommend ? and why? or maybe even a different resort. im looking for 1st nice beach w cabana 2.kid are ok, but not too many 3. entertainment but need quieter after midnight. Thanks for your input 😊
thanks for info.... we are going here next Sunday. how did you get from the airport to resort? so far it seems the shuttle will cost us 89...hoping to find another shuttle for a cheaper price. any tips on excursions with prices would be great as well if you did any
I have used USA Transfers multiple times and have never had a problem (except last time had to wait 10 mins at the airport bc of traffic). They are around $65 round trip for a standard van. For excursions, my number one in Cancun is always Isla Mujeres. I don’t think you need a tour. Can take a taxi to Puerto Juarez and buy ferry tickets for the short ride. In advance can book a golf cart to drive all around the island. Many companies online for rentals you can search. High points are Playa Norte at the northern tip of the island and also exploring (some hiking also) along the south western shore. Beautiful little island.
Hello I am thinking about booking to this resort n I read there’s a daily environment fee charged by any resorts, does anybody know how much this resort charges per day ? Thanks
All hotels in and around Cancun charge the same fee. Depending on which zone your hotel is in it ranges from $1-$4 per person per day- at least those are the ranges I've seen.
There is (but not so bad...). Easiest way to get them to leave you alone is to tell them you're single and/or don't own your own home. Works like magic. Thanks for watching 🙏
Thank you very much! Hopefully will be able to get back to Cancun next year to make some more. Hope you enjoy my other videos as well. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
@@tfft I'm going to Cancun next Friday and I'm staying there as well! Soooo excited after seeing your video! What camera do you recommend ...waterproof preferably
95% of the content I film is done on an iPhone (13PM or 12PM)- which is technically waterproof but I’d still never take the chance haha. For more action stuff (but less vivid coloring) and truly underwater capabilities I’d for for a GoPro. Generally I don’t think the Hero 10 is much of an upgrade over the Hero 9 so you can probably get one for a reasonable price. Don’t recommend Hero 8 or earlier though (Hero 9 debuted with major stabilization features).
@@tfft ok awesome thank you! And yeah...I wouldn't risk my phone lol but curious to know if go pros still have that fishbowl view that I hate... blows everyone's heads up 🤣
The newer models have many field of view settings now. “Linear” would be similar to your normal camera and “Wide” more like a wide view phone camera. Any setting wider than those is where you’d start to see the distortion.
Too many other channels out there with “Roam” in the title. After I have 100 subs there I can make a direct link, youtube doesn’t allow before. bit.ly/tfft_R (Uppercase R) will get you there 🙏🏻
Great video. I’m a swimmer I was wondering if you could tell me if any of the three pools you could do laps in (not for fun) but for actual swimming. Thanks for the great review video
I reckon it'd work best in the main pool during the early morning. There are also a handful of oceanfront rooms that have direct access to their own shared pool. If memory serves me right that pool is basically the shape of a single lane. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
Sure, there were plenty of families there during our stay. As it’s not one of the massive loud & rowdy resorts it’s probably one of the better priced family friendly all inclusives in the zone. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
I’ll be honest I don’t have a definitive answer on that but I’m sure they have something you’d be able to use- they were always accommodating and prepared. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
I have a question that you didn't really cover. Is there any nightlife other than the once a week beach banquet you mentioned? Like shows in the evenings?
That is all that was offered while I was there. I think the general assumption is not many guests would participate if it was more often since nightlife in Cancun in general is so widespread. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
Curious about food. I understand it changes and menus will be different but is there a good variety ? We are traveling with 5 kids who will eat anything but my husband is a foodie and doesn't want mexican food every night so wondering if there are several options and if you need reservations. Thank you for a wonderful video !

Within the hotel zone yes I’d say it’s nearly as safe at night as it is during the day as long as you use common sense as in any city. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
Thank you so much for the review! We are traveling to this hotel next week, I’ll like to know how you made it to the hotel from the airport, was it easy to find transportation, and how long was the ride? Thank you !

Thank you so much for such an informative video! A friend and I are planning a trip here without kids. It looks family friendly but how would you say the atmosphere is for to adults without kids? Are kids running the place? Thank you!
Is the all-inclusive really all-inclusive? I've seen other resorts only include well drinks, and you have to pay for premium alcohols. Does this resort do that as well?
It’s fully all inclusive. If you goto 17:59 you can hear my note about it and also see all of the brands on offer. The bars don’t even have a POS system that I ever noticed. Also saw many bottles being cracked open for the first time. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
I suppose one of the benefits of an older building is it was built like the “good ol days”… which in this case means it was super solid and I didn’t notice any noise bleed during my stay except from the balcony when they were playing louder music in the afternoon- not a big problem if on 4th/5th floor. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
@@tfft Thank you so much for responding and for the video! I'm going in September and this will be my first time out of the country and at an all inclusive and really helped ease my nerves!
For specific food items, I’d contact the resort directly to ask for their current menus- things like this change quite often these days. As for tipping, it was common to see for bartenders, bar service staff and bell hops but not obligatory. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
Thanks very much. No, none of the reservations accept reservations. Throughout my time there the only restaurant I ever saw a line at was the Italian one. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
If there was a waterpark for teens, I assure you, it would have been in this video lol. Best to contact the resort for their current kids activity guide. Thanks for watching 🩴
That’s kinda like asking “is business class worth it?”… it depends entirely on the resort and the price and your dining/drinking habits. In this case, all-inclusive is the only choice and it was a good one at that.
Hello is that the early 90's 📞 Club Med want this resort back. Honestly they could invest a bit more into the rooms they are dated and "busy" more is not always more. With all the activities and inclusions l can see why it's a popular choice with Families even if it's not for me👍
Yeah Cancun is a strange place to search for hotels when you have Phuket and Bali in your backyard 😂 Hawaii, the same. Nothing wrong with them but just so many resorts built all at the same time.
I don't exactly know what, but the commentary on this video from the tone, pace and content is very much relaxing and satisfying😀
Appreciate that!

This video really eased my travel anxiety. Thank you so much. Can you comment on the food and also any chance there is sushi at this resort?
Oh and also can you comment on tipping culture and what is expected?
For specific food items, I’d contact the resort directly to ask for their current menus- things like this change quite often these days. As for tipping, it was common to see for bartenders, bar service staff and bell hops but not obligatory. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
Good
Thanks for watching 🩴
Awesome video thank you! Do you have to make reservations for the restaurants ahead of time ?
Thanks very much. No, none of the reservations accept reservations. Throughout my time there the only restaurant I ever saw a line at was the Italian one. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
Considering having my wedding here. Does this seem like a nice resort to have a wedding?
I don’t see a reasons why it wouldn’t be a good option, but I feel like this question is a few steps above my pay grade 😂 Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
Is there a water park for teens?
Are there activities for teens and nightly entertainment?
If there was a waterpark for teens, I assure you, it would have been in this video lol. Best to contact the resort for their current kids activity guide. Thanks for watching 🩴
How is the weather in December?
Just after Hurricane Season, so not too bad. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
is there a water park in this resort ?
If there was a water park I assure you I would have put it in the video ☺️ Thanks for watching 🙏
Do you know if you have to be vaccinated to go to Mexico?
Regulations around the world change daily. I suggest you check a trusted source such as Sherpa for the most up to date info. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
Wow thanks you for replying and excellent advice 🥰
Are all inclusive worth paying for?
That’s kinda like asking “is business class worth it?”… it depends entirely on the resort and the price and your dining/drinking habits. In this case, all-inclusive is the only choice and it was a good one at that.
Do they have entertainment at night?
Best to check with the hotel directly for current offerings. This review is from a few years ago.
Thanks for the video, does the all inclusive include 24 hour room service?
It did include room service during my stay but it’s not 24h, it was 7:00-23:00. The only 24h venue was the cafe. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
How was food ?
…in the video 🤔
I am a owner and will be here next June 2025
Thanks for watching 🩴
Looks so basic
Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
