OpenIPC FPV is the cheapest digital FPV system in the world!
Thanks to the WFB-ng link it has some serious long range capabilities.
Read more here: openipc.org/
You will find everything you need to start your own project!🎉
The system supports MAVLINK1 or MAVLINK2 bidirectional telemetry which makes it a complete solution for a quadcopter or fixed wing/VTOL. It also has WFB-ng link preinstalled and this means it has serious long range capabilities.

This project just keeps getting better and better!
Yes it does,so many boards and cameras released its hard to keep, might sit it out until I slows down😅we hope
Cheers mate!😊🍻
this project is getting better so fast!
Thank you for your support!😊🙏
so glad i found this channel right up my street
Welcome. Cheers mate!😊🍻
ARE THE ULTRASIGHTS SHIPPING ANYTIME SOON?
Please contact Igor. He is the one who is working on the shipping of the hardware. You will find him on Telegram. Cheers mate!😊🍻
@@mariofpv I contacted Igor a few days ago. He said contact “mediantrading”. They aren’t responding and now I’m concerned the ultras aren’t shipping this month
@mariofpv when you think you may have new boards to sale. great job. you have a waiting list.thanks
Thanks for all the details! Hows the end to end latency with the radxa for decoding is it comparable to your old tests with whatever you used before?
Glass to glass latency is 35-42ms. Cheers mate!😊🍻
On 720p@120fps. You can use that 120hz stream on a 60hz monitor as well and it will only add 8ms of latency on top. So Everyone can use it!
@@mariofpv glad it's still as fast with this board :) Thanks so much for your reply!
Thank you very much for this detailed video!
Cheers mate!😊🍻
Whats the name brand of the Rtl8812au wifi module and which antennas would you recommend to buy?
Keep up the great work
Cheers mate!😊🍻
Wow amazing! How much RAM is recommanded? is 1Gb enough?
good question btw
Yes 1GB is enough. Cheers mate!😊🍻
@@mariofpv Crazy fast answer, as always! Keep up the amazing work
Which RADXA ZERO is better to use for a ground station? How much memory, availability of EMMC or Flash?
Radxa Zero 3w 1GB no eMMC. Cheers mate!😊🍻
Wow cool, just when my receiver from aliexpress came in 😀
Thank you for your support!😊🙏
Jaja, same. And i dont even have the camera/vtx yet
Nice! Very interesting! Keep the good job!
Cheers mate!😊🍻
always wait for the proggress
Cheers mate!😊🍻
Too Cool. Can't wait to see it on a drone.
It’s too heavy and too big for a drone. This is ideal for VRX only. We have the OpenIPC UltraSight camera for the drone side. It’s the perfect combination for ultra low latency 35ms. Cheers mate!😊🍻
@@mariofpv What about a drone where you need to encode video into H.265 before transmitting it. For example I have this SIYI ZR10 but it outputs only H.264, so I want to recode video into H.265 before transmitting it. Will this SBC work or is there a better solution?
It will not work with OpenIPC. OpenIPC is a completely different system than SIYI. The purpose of our project is not to make any camera compatible with OpenIPC. I hope that cleared your mind.
@@mariofpv Yes, thank you very much.
Is there a tutorial video for installing eMMC?
Many thanks! What kind of Radxa we need: with EMMC or without EMMC? And memory: 1GB or 2GB or 4GB?
1GB is enough. There are two versions of Radxa. Please watch my video again to see which version I used. Cheers mate!😊🍻
This project is amazing
Cheers mate!😊🍻
I am still trying to understand the way it communicates. What is the difference between standard VTX/VRX analog setup and this, and why would someone use this instead of analog setup? I mean in terms of range, because I am fully aware what OpenIPC can do and it's is an amazing project.
Welcome to our community! Please read our wiki. There are many things to read. Find the link in the video description. Cheers mate!😊🍻
Hey Mario, great work. I noticed that the rockchip modules are not showing support on the openipc site. Does this method bypass that support issue due to a nand flash?
My YT channel has the latest news even before the OpenIPC website. We haven’t updated our website yet because the rockchip products are still in Alpha state. We still recommend to buy the stable and well tested hardware that you will find in our website. Cheers mate!😊🍻
@mariofpv Thank you, Mario. I am on the Facebook page and will be using some stable build hardware and some that is still being tested and will be sure to share my results on the group page.
Very simple I love it. About the RTL8812au adapter do you have any link or good recommendation for it ?
Thanks❤
We are developing an inexpensive stack dual WiFi adapter specifically for Radxa Zero 3w with 4(!) antennas. Stay tuned. Cheers mate!😊🍻
@@mariofpv all good thank you. I'll use a standard one awaiting this one :) Thanks
so work with HDzero and walksnail goggles? as a VRx
Yes, tested and it’s fully compatible. Cheers mate!😊🍻
Where does one start? Especially for complete beginners?? Or is the project more for advanced users?
You will find all the information to start in the video description. There are links for many resources there. Cheers mate!😊🍻
pretty slick 👾
Cheers mate!😊🍻
what do you recommend for off the shelf rtl8812au?
just completed the flashing of radxa and ultrasight boards :) not too hard at all for a noobly like myself :)
We are developing a dual rtl8812au WiFi board with 4x antennas and it will have exactly the same size as the Radxa Zero 3w. This means we will have the perfect stack for an OpenIPC VRX. Stay tuned for the review. Cheers mate!😊🍻
@@mariofpv I'm asking what would be something I can buy and use now that would be decent. What would be the best off the shelf unit?
@@mariofpv is this board still in development? I'm looking to build some radxa vrx's for some hdzero goggles in the future, and am looking to buy the necessary components. Thanks!
@highwaltage what did you end up using as a solution?
@@Jeff876533 I got the rtl8812au off the shelf unit. Yet to do a build. Got into golf all of a sudden lol.
Great job ❤
Thank you for everything you are doing for the project my friend!😊🙏
Hello! As far as I know, Radxa 3 has built-in Wi-Fi on board. Why do you need a WiFi module board?
Hello and welcome to the channel. We are using a protocol called Wifibroadcast to have link. More information about the WFB-ng is in the video description. Cheers mate!😊🍻
RTL8812au adapter still isn't available?
Do not use rtl8812au any more. Better use rtl8812eu. Cheers mate!😊🍻
Awesome 🎉
Cheers mate!😊🍻
Excellent Mario !
Thank you for your support my friend!😊🙏
Hi, will it work with raxda 3w 1GB ram version? which version are you using?
Radxa Zero 3w 1GB no eMMC. Works fine. Cheers mate!😊🍻
Hello, hard to find Radxa 3w with 1gb, empty stock all over. Would the Radxa zero 3E works same way?
I don’t know. The Radxa Zero 3w became very popular. Hopefully there will be a new batch soon. Cheers mate!😊🍻
@@mariofpv The Radxa Zero 3E and 3W have the same hardware, only differs that the 3E have an ethernet port and no onboard Wifi, while the 3W has onboard Wifi and no ethernet port. So if the Onboard wifi is not mandatory, both would work same way?
In order for this to run on Radxa, does it need more than 1GB ram or eMMC memmory or just the high rate sd card? I don't think I see an eMMC chip on yours.
I use a 1GB no eMMC with a fast SD card. It’s working fine. Thank you for your support!😊🙏
@@mariofpv Thanks!
Hey Mario, i got a Problem. My radxa will not boot. I dont know what the Problem is. I checked it several Times.. i think bootloader is corrupted. Just Green led is on
Please post your message on our Telegram channel for easier discussion. We will assist you with your issue. Cheers mate!😊🍻
Nice!
Cheers mate!😊🍻
There are two type c ports on radxa so, can we connect two wifi boards to get quadversity reciver?
No. One is for power supply and the other is the USB interface. Cheers mate!😊🍻
Buonasera secondo te andrebbe bene pure un orange pi 2w 1gb ram???
No. Please use Radxa Zero 3w for lowest latency. Cheers mate!😊🍻
what is the advantage of this over using the other vrx board you showed us 5 months ago
1080p@90fps, 720p@120fps, lighter, smaller VRX. A bit more expensive (£20). Cheers mate!😊🍻
Is it possible to make it onearlier version Radxa 2 W Amlogic S905Y2 Quad Cortex-A53 1GB?
No that’s not possible. We support only Radxa Zero 3w. It costs £18 only! Cheers mate!😊🍻
Can we Use Radax to transmit the camera feed ?
No and it’s a bad idea to use those kind of SBC for encoding/transmitting. They just don’t have as good video quality as the OpenIPC/DJI/WS cameras. Cheers mate!😊🍻
Can't wait to create DJI's nemesis, the OpenIPC mini 3 pro, salt water edition, ha ha. But seriously, this plus an ESC and flight controller and battery and other accessories and it'll fly again.
This works better as a VRX. For the drone side we now have the OpenIPC UltraSight camera! Such lighter, smaller, AIO and has the perfect size to mount.Cheers mate!😊🍻
How much weight whole system openIPC on SD card, I wondering to buy Radaxa 2MB with 16Gb eMMC?
It will be in part 2 so stay tuned for that. Cheers mate!😊🍻
When should I suppose to see it?@@mariofpv
Wondefulll❤❤❤❤❤
Cheers mate!😊🍻
Please make Support dual sbs small cam, i will use it on 75mm whoop.
And so able to view on my onld android support vr sbs mode uvc, or you might able to male the app for it.
I want to try fly like real vr.
We already have the perfect camera for tiny whoops, OpenIPC “Mario” AIO camera which is going to be released soon. Stay tuned for the announcement and the full review. Cheers mate!😊🍻
@@mariofpv wating availability on my country.
H! What camera was used?
The OpenIPC Ultralight AIO FPV camera.

nice
Cheers mate!😊🍻
Is 1GB board adequate? Need emmc?
Yes. Cheers mate!😊🍻
RISCV is coming right along, just sayin. 🙂
We're almost to the point where more people are going to be able to make their own chips, not just boards...imagine shrinking your board to at least a partial ASIC 🙂
Actually the whole concept of OpenIPC is to motivate everyone to make their own projects with their own chips. That’s why we keep calling this project as “the digital FPV revolution”. Cheers mate!😊🍻
Hey Mario. I cant get the radza under 50euro in Germany so i brought the ugly nvr
Sorry for the high prices in your region. I’m afraid that we will now see the Radxa Zero 3w prices rising everywhere. Some people call it the “Mario Effect”!😂 Cheers mate!😊🍻
@@mariofpv yes i See IT already. I ordered fast a 2gig Version ... Now prices can raise... I shure they day will come you can Buy an Open IPC vrx 🤩 but i love to solder and get my brain grown by flashing some Firmware 😂😉
Very complicated video ...can't understand what to do with coding 😢
There’s no way I could include all the information in only one video. All you need to know is in the video description. I put links for you to start reading so you can learn all the details. I will publish more video tutorials with more information so stay tuned. Also have a look at my previous video tutorials. Cheers mate!😊🍻
What is the protocol of the OpenIPC stream, RTSP?? I mean if I want to view or record the the stream from Zero 3W on a NVR computer, how do I view or receive the OpenIPC stream?
RTP and all you need to do is forward the stream to the appropriate IP and port. Then any gstreamer will be able to decode the stream. Cheers mate!😊🍻
@@mariofpv Thank you very much!
