Now THAT is a classy lady! Smart, sexy, vibrant. I love the way she speaks, the way she moves, the way she looks, the way she smiles. And that accent! If only modern actresses were half this personable.
As an Englishman I have to be reminded that there is no need to look abroad to find the most ravishing women on Earth. She really is one of the most fabulous women you'll see anywhere. She grew up in the next town from me as well!
OMG! I remember being mesmerized by her in her 1st film "Golden Voyage of Sinbad" she was so beautiful she made me cry and i was so spell-bound by her i named my daughter after her . She was even sexier and more alluring in the Bond film and i think she was terribly miscast as she should have gotten the lead instead of Barbara Bach who was a joke. When the 2 were standing side by side Munro made Bach look like a little school girl standing next to Miss Universe.
Ha! This is very true! I wish CM had the lead lady part - she deserved it! I met her years back, a very sweet lady, & very quiet & mcdest despite her beauty. I was very impressed.
It's a bit late to answer, but I've only just seen this. No, Caroline's voice wasn't dubbed in The Spy Who Loved Me. Proud to say that I'm a friend and have met her in and out of conventions for well over 10 years.
Good to know! Caroline always seems like a wonderful Bond ambassador. I am confused, though about the voice. Barbara Jefford is credited on IMDB with that task. Either way, it was a very memorable (if small) role.
I feel that actors and actresses that do horror movies or make their living at it,don't get the respect that other actors do that do dramas or comedies. Not everyone can do horror, like some can't do Shakespeare..Caroline is an exceptional actress and not only is she gorgeous(even to this day),but I believe she could do any type of movie she wanted to do.I don't know if she's done comedies, but I could see her doing one and be really good at it.She's an underrated actress and not just a pretty face
" the old crab" lol. To be fair it is pretty hard hitting for it's time and was actually banned here in the UK for some years ( pathetic I know). Although I still managed to see it on VHS in 1983 aged 11.
I have always wanted to meet Caroline, she's seems a nice lady...I saw her once at the NEC Birmingham, about 5 years ago and was a little taken aback by how little she'd changed. Closest thing I had to a pinup as a young lad!
Kragger Last Exactly. And did you see the last comment of that white-hair woman? What an ass, what an unprofessional comment. What a way to put Caroline down with her shallow criticism.
Short answer is, I'm not sure, it's very possible but we haven't talked about it as I don't tend to interview friends. Anyway, it's her birthday today (16th January) If you visit her website, she does post upcoming appearance dates for conventions all over the world, she's a lovely warm lady and she will answer most questions you ask. Hope that helps.
If you know her personally, I wonder if any of her scenes from The Spy Who Loved Me ended up on the cutting room floor as it seems when she appeared and before you know it she got blown up in the helicopter.
Audience: "Thanks for provoking Caroline into revealing her character's fate in what was supposed to be a suspenseful movie. Great job!" Both of interviewers sucked! The woman was insulting and the guy was totally creepy with his obviously constructed bar room pickup line. Very unprofessional.
Caroline Munro is so pleasant here, and the old hag is just trying to edge in her agenda. "It's a well made film" followed by "well, it's pretty gory." Must have been awkward for Munro. She's a goddess.
She's not wrong, Maniac is a very gory horror film. At this point in time horror movies received very little critical respect and feminists were attacking them as misogynist fantasies. The crabby woman has probably read that stuff, and it's all she knows.
Yes, but she married a Yank. He must’ve felt like the luckiest American alive. No doubt she had everything that he did not - apart from quite a bit of money, of course.
I never knew she was English. I always thought she was like from Iran or Lebanon. Her voice in SWLM did not sound English. She sounded Israeli or something. I could never pin it.
I’m a friend of Dear Caroline and she really is the most beautiful lady, both inside and out. Yes she was revoiced by Barbara but she didn’t know that at the time of filming. Cubby was a great one for re voicing many actresses, unnecessarily so in my opinion. As for her ethnicity, she has English, Scottish and Indian roots, hence the beautiful skin. In fact she just has beautiful everything! As one of her fans previously said, Caroline got to the front of the queue when they were dishing out looks, hair, eyes, nose, body etc etc ❤ love to all ❤️
@@scottvincent1783 Carole made an impression. She's one of the great Bond girls. I knew her before I saw Spy in 77. I had seen her in magazine ads for a Scotch or something. When i saw Spy she seemed very familiar. She has such a lovely English voice i can't understand why they would dub her.
The whole "convent" thing *always* blows their (the interviewers, the poor saps) circuit breakers -- always trying to fit her (and all of us chickens -- see MAP) into a niche. And the whole idea wouldn't you really rather be something dramatic? Zork! You can't have Peter Cushing being a murder-er or Gov Tarkin without a victim. But, that's so low-brow compared to a note: Gilgamesh and Frakencense must die. Erk, sorry: Rossenkrants and Guildernstern. Again a great, great channel; just found it.
so beautiful ,love those boots, god surely broke the mold after making caroline , her modeling photos in the 60s and 70s were jaw dropping , i first saw her in those noxema shaveing commercials while watching the ed sullivan show covered in shaving cream, even as a 12 year old , BOING !!!!! still love ya caroline, also loved her hammer film roles ,and captian kronos, and stella starr, BOING !!!!! love ya always,,,, true glammer

Beautiful composed and elegant lady. Very likeable.
Damn..She was absolutely gorgeous 💖 Still is.
I'm in love. She is a really beauty
Watch Captain Kronos Vampire Hunter to see her at her best.

She's gorgeous in At The Earth's core.
I just watched the. Golden. Voyage of. Sinbad! Wow she was so young and beautiful!🍿🎬📽 great actress also. John Philip. Law. Rip!!😥
I Believe This Was A Video Clip Of WNBC-TV's News 4 Live At 5's Entertainment News Report On Interview With Caroline Munro In Late December 1980.
Looks like "Church Lady" from SNL on right.
Cool interview!!! Maniac is a fun movie to watch and NOT that much gore. Anyway, the outfit of Caroline Munro is amazing, looks like a rockstar.
I have always wanted to meet Caroline, she's seems a nice lady...I saw her once at the NEC Birmingham, about 5 years ago and was a little taken aback by how little she'd changed. Closest thing I had to a pinup as a young lad!
I like how Caroline handles the stupid comments by the white-haired harridan (who doesn't seem to have actually seen Caroline's films).
Kragger Last Exactly. And did you see the last comment of that white-hair woman? What an ass, what an unprofessional comment. What a way to put Caroline down with her shallow criticism.
Gorgeous women with a beautiful voice. Like also her clothes, especially her boots.
Super cool. She lights up the silver screen. 🎬📽🎥

Calling a James Bond movie a 'flick' HOW DARE HE!
Ooooh these eyes!! this face... this smile.... these hair!! Stellaaaa i love you lol :D
Love at first sight!
*she is one of the most beautiful woman i ever seen in my life*
She is both cute and sexy at the same time . How many girls do you ever see that have those two qualities in perfect ratios?
wonderful hair!

a true English rose

she was good in the golden voyage of sinbad 1973. although, she wasn't really wearing enough clothes though...
I was so in love with her when I was younger, beautiful girl
Again, check out Jewel Shepard's book (1992). Invasion of the B-Girls.
Que bella es. Los dioses del Olimpo nos enviaron a su diosa más divina.
It's such a shame goddesses like this have to age
166PolarBear
She can't be a Goddess then.
Hate horror films bad
Her grandmother was born in 1889
because of star crash I thought she was American originally
Did they dub her voice in The Spy Who Loved Me? It seems her voice was more sultry in that movie.
Yes, Barbara Jefford (who also revoiced Daniela Bianchi in From Russia With Love).
166 polarbear says it all.....you and me both
Caroline could have been at the side of Zeus for his inspiration,
as she very much has the attributes of a goddess.
I love Caroline
What a Woman.
What more could you want?
That's Caroline!
Like the most spirited Thorobreds horse , if she could be tamed.

Caroline Munroe is the mother figure of sex symbols, it was such an honour to meet her! She's so lovely in this interrogation.
The guy interviewing her is an asshole. He has this superior.. You better answer to me vibe.
Lovely lady.
She is gorgeous :)
Yes, but she married a Yank. He must’ve felt like the luckiest American alive. No doubt she had everything that he did not - apart from quite a bit of money, of course.
Damn she was fine looking lady !
1980... if i am not wrong about it? :P
This woman first got my attention in the spy who loved me
that old bird is dead now. and i bet caroline still has cracking baps. so who's laughing now ?
She reminds me of Vanity....Prince's ex girlfriend
This is the least attractive I have ever seen Caroline, and she's still drop dead gorgeous!
Yeah don't like her hair in this..
she is too pretty for horror movies.. Jamie Lee Curtis comes to mind.. Halloween a more conservative look.. ) lol sorry miss Curtis..
@@cellis3045I don't know why she did those blonde streaks in her gorgeous dark hair. Still so gorgeous though 😍

Lambs rum navy girl
forever sexy & hot actress
Is this an unaired SNL skit?
Caroline goodbye
R.I.P?
That piano sweater has to be the ugliest, god damn fucking sweater I have ever seen.
Far too sexy to be an English Rose but Caroline is lovely.
Jeezus.... these interviewers are hateful
She is still beautiful and stunning woman xxx
