RIP Claire
I still to this day can’t replicate the magic 321 fingers that Ted used every week.
This was broadcast 3 days before TVAM launched on ITV.
The "talk through" of the wishbone and clue from this episode features on the Wikipedia page of 3-2-1.
the brunette 'genie' was the female lead in the best Ray Harryhausen Arabian Nights, THE GOLDEN VOYAGE OF SINBAD
The brunette 'genie' your referring to in this episode is the lovely Caroline Munro yes she was in 'The Golden Voyage Of Sinbad' as Margiana. Caroline appeared in a lot of episodes of 3-2-1 throughout the 1980s and she still can be seen every Friday night here in the UK on the tv channel "Talking Pictures Tv' as she presents her own film strand called "The Celler Club. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caroline_Munro
Caroline Munro!
Claire Davenport was wrong on all three counts. The film was actually ''Return of the Jedi'' ( Changed from Revenge) It was actually Star wars 6, but the third film made, and she didn't feature heavily , but a cameo appearance !!!
You have to remember though that the prequels weren't made then, so it was the third film.
Gordon Beattie, point taken, thank you.
Andrew Dexter I wonder if she was making a joke about herself “I’m heavily featured!”, and she was known for playing Brawn Hilda roles so could have been referring to her size!
Given the backlash David Prowse received from George Lucas when he accidentally guessed that “Darth Vader could even be Luke’s Father...you don’t know!”, I wonder if anyone at Lucasfilms just said to Claire
“Make something up! By the time the movie is out no one will quite remember what you said anyway!”
@@tombstoneharrystudios584 The title wasn't changed to Return of the Jedi until very late in the day. There was Revenge of the Jedi merchandise (i used to have a poster magazine with Revenge of the Jedi on it) It was changed to "Return" because a Jedi wouldn't be seeking revenge.
Blimey, who wrote Alan Curtis' part, Dave Whelan?
They didn't say thanks fr oil lamp even

Only in Series 1 they had a car as the star prize every week but from Series 2 onwards the car was the star prize on every other edition.
Just a manky old rug.
