I've had many rafts like this, they are a lot of fun! You need to watch what you are doing, they take up very little space when stored. I kept one in an old gym bag.
This is very helpful. Followed your recommendations to a tee yesterday and I was out on the lake for about 2 hours, no issues. I sat in the front and i thought it leaned a little on that side, but it's fine. Very nice boat, perfect. $47.00 with delivery. I plan on buy a few of these so friends/family can use, highly recommended.
I have the Seahawk 2, the Explorer K2 and Challenger K1 kayaks. Redeemed some reward points and added $70 cash for all three boats, having paid out-of-pocket, less than $25 for each one! They exceeded my expectations and should cover all my boating needs. I hope to use them even more next year, provided the weather is better. This summer has been miserable, either raining or too hot. In the meantime, they will store nice and neat on a shelf for the winter. After a number of regular boats over the years, I am taking the minimalist approach this time around. I no longer have the room to keep a regular boat and I need help with the launching, retrieval and maintenance, which I no longer have available. I can at least go it alone now and enjoy the water without all the headaches and expense. Overall, you won't find a better bang for your buck than an Intex inflatable boat. Just get one big enough to meet your needs and you will have some good, safe fun!
Back to bow, feet to stern is the ideal rowing position for these boats. The best power stroke is achieved by pulling on the oars rather than pushing on them. You might want to upgrade the oars later on if you want to go faster, but these lightweight ones are OK for doodling around.
Good point, I wondered why so many people say backwards when reviewing this boat. However when I got an Intex explorer 200 I found that controlling the direction was nearly impossible when doing it sitting backwards. The pivot point for the oars are just too unstable Sitting forwards has less power but a bit more controllability. I'm working on converting my oars into a paddle. Lmk if anyone wants me to post how I do it.
@@davelovell8631 i'd like to know how to do it. I have the explorer 300 and took it on the lake yesterday. Love this boat, but it's hard work with these lightweight ores that's for sure. That's what i want tho, as the gyms are still closed in our area.
That rowing isn't as easy as the people make it appear. I actually found it easier to row forwards. I could get a bit more power going backwards but it was just so much more natural to go forwards. If you focus on the water in front of you instead of some distant destination you power forwards in a straight line.
I love riding in inflatable boats. Very relaxing. I never go into deep water no more than 3 or 4 feet deep, and in no smaller than a 2 person, but the 3 person is a better choice and just right for an adult .
the leg room is not too good. I can stretch out and it's good for one person. but it holds 410 lbs but you may have to sit cross legged to fit everyone in.
i have a Intex Explorer Pro 2 and it fits 2 people. here is a very cheap price for one www.ebay.com/itm/Intex-Explorer-Pro-2-Person-Youth-Inflatable-PVC-Boat-Raft-for-Fishing-Rafting/352211881185?epid=11026676282&hash=item520176cce1:g:Su0AAOSw9y1b4K8Z
that is not A boat it’s a little bathtub 400 pounds is nothing go spend $100 more and you have yourself a Seahawk 3 it is bigger than yours it’s forthree people it is probably can hold more than 1000 pounds

The 300 is the way to go, saw a 200 a couple weeks ago and they're just to small for one adult.

I bought this dinghy recently and I can’t wait to try it at end of the month when we go caravanning loo
I bought the 200 explorer, 15$ on sale at a local big box. So much fun! Waterproof gorilla tape is a must LOL!
Why is the tape a must?

I’ve got the bestway kondor 2000 boat it’s really smooth and could fit an adult and a child but it takes forever to inflate
Decent fun boat. The Seakhawk and Challenger range though have Boston valves which are much more reliable.
Do you think it’s good for holding two adults?
Any tips how to get in and out without capsizing? That's my downfall
I ordered this boat yesterday and it’s coming tomorrow and I’m taking it camping with me and I’m connecting two tents together so it’s one big tent
I took sea hawk 2
Nice, I have one in my cart in the Amazon page. Ill go ahead and order it.
Thanks
Ha wish I had watched this earlier. I just took mine out and made a lot of the same mistakes. Now I know what to do differently.
I'm about to buy the 200 pro, very similar just a little smaller. I'm totally new to inflatable boats and found your video very helpful. Thanks! :)
So i bought the explorer 300, and i love it, just inflated it yesterday, took it on the lake, perfect. $47.00 delivered. Can't beat it.
After looking at yours I think I under inflated mine...and the water was cold so I noticed some lose of air and thought it was leaking 🤣
I use one of these as a dinghy for my already small sailing boat, when I have to leave it fast to a mooring.
sitting at the bow is the correct way to row a boat ..
The front of the show is called the bow
Thank you for sharing!
U wana go on a boat ride w me sometimes?
Looks very comfy to sit in too👍👌
Thanks a lot for this review
How is it supposed to carry 3 people? I am still confused about the size... It just doesn't seem big enough for 3 adults.
3 kids
2 adult person or 3 kid I like this boat I will buy it one day!
I believe the manufacturers go by the weight it will support, not really by how many people will fit in it.
Personally i'm 5'9 245, for me it's a one person, 2 people would have to have there legs hanging over.
Whats better this or the Seahawk 2?
Seahawks 2 is small
This is better
this is better
Hi! How much does it weigh? And can you disassemble the oars at all for transport? Thx.

I’m getting one so when we go camping will update a vid soon
