The speed of the water rushing like that was crazy. Glad you picked the right cap to attack first. Great job as always and love the detail you use to tell them what the issue is and how you're going fix it
Wow that was one flooded basement! You needed your swimming gear Donald! I like you walked in, within a minute knocked the cap off and it all drained out haha. When you **Finally** got the second cap off there was a huge gush of water. You did a great job though, lots of scale buildup caught in the trap!
Well you really done a great job there, i bet the lady was really pleased when all that water ran into the drain. Your calm proffesionalism shone through , well done !....

Hi from the uk! great channel..your plumbing is very very different to ours ..i cant believe how common cast iron pipes are over there and this is the first video ive seen where the trap 'box' is properly cement lined and not just loose earth and stones..so much easier to clean when it floods. Why dont they normally cement them properly?
Hey 🇬🇧, it all depends on the homeowner, the pit is usually forgotten about usually until they have a problem . I did run Into a few tidy looking pits. Thanks for watching 👍
Could you please axplain to me how US sever solution works. You have two plugs on the same line/pipe as I assume in the sever "manhole". so why after opening one of them all the water gone? There is a partision between those plugs ot what? Thanks for info.
Two caps, two lines considered in and out separated by a u trap 🌳------u------ 🏠 And if the out line is clear when I pop the cap open the excess water will drain
Ok so how all that water get down there. It couldn't have been a clog. That water would not have drained so fast like that. Please explain because something not adding up!
@@NYDRAINS LOL oh ok. I'm looking at comments and no one else notice. I'm like ok I know I'm not tripping 😆. But oh ok makes sense now lol. Thanks for explaining 😆.

Lol, thanks Chad 👍
At least the water on the floor seemed relatively "clean"
Good job young man‼️gee what a clean up she has to do‼️🤙🏽🇺🇸🌴🍍🌺
Thank you 🙏
You DEFINITELY drive the Boss Drain Train! 👏👏👏👏
Are you single
Of all the NY drains videos I've watched, this drain seems like it has the fastest water flow through the U bend after the unblocking.
Lot of pressure with in line going straight up just a few feet away!
I feel sorry for that poor lady and all that water clean up. Very interesting drain today, great job. 💚💚
Thanks🙏
Nice job. Fast and efficient.
As usual, good job... you are a very respectful person.
Thank you 🙏

Hard to put a guarantee on a rotten and scaly trap like that good job getting the inlet accessible
I bet when you knocked that cap off the lady was well pleased 😃
Definitely sigh of relief!
Oh look, it was the trap again. I'm absolutely shocked.
That lady was so cool 😎
Yes she was nice.
Noah, called this lady and asked for his flood back.
Lol
Should have a sump pump in that basement
Good content! Hey, when you snake from the trap back up into the house, how far do you know/estimate up into the house?
Usually you can feel the resistance but in this case you can see the stack going up give or take 5 feet away.
👍👍👍
👍🙏
The only thing u did is to lift the lid lol

Good video. ♡ T.E.N.
"I use tampons" she said..😂
🤔
All good
🐀 all good 👍👌
That water made it a vortex
😉👍
She is lucky her basement floor is pitched towards the trap, it clear a lot of the water once the plug was open.
Thats how the floor is supposed to be in the basement, slight angle towards the drain. Makes life much easier in the event of a flooded basement.
I bet them kids had their swimming suits on
Lol
If at first you dont suceed, get a bigger hammer....great job...keep the videos coming
Thanks 👍Happy New Years 🥳
No corn for Ratty
🐀 always on the lookout 👀 🌽

Lol yes that was the homeowner, asked me if she can empty her shop vac in the trap.
That's gonna be a mess.to clean that basement don't u think
At least there was no poop 💩 floating around
it would be a shame if you used a crescent spanner to release caps. lot less damage also.
I'm afraid theres going to be a big mold problem after this.
Oh she thicc thicc. 👀
You would think they would make those caps threaded so they could be unscrewed
Do they make PVC caps ?
Are they better than the other caps that are on there ?
@@ocsrc the issue is the threads of the pipe u trap itself will be just as coroded as the old plug, hence why he had to tap the new plug in.
Flushing toilet 1:27

Definitely a clog and the water 💧was coming backwards out the washing machine line. @1:02 sorry didn't add the footage

Why is the main sewer flush like an EAGO Toilet
Lol
For Christ sake grab that dime. Ha
Lol
Ok
She could have squeegeed all that room water into that drain b4 it was sealed?
Looked closed but I did leave it Cracked for that reason
Dam ran out of videos
lets pray you really don't charge just 49.95
🙏😇
Use a jetter machine dude come on
Easy peasy, no need on this job!
this guy needs a supervising rodent...
Lol 😆🤣Happy New Years 🥳
Hello
👋
49 bucks. You’re not making anything. There’s mad money in plumbing drains.
🤔😉🤑🤫
Why aren't you using a tip that cuts up all of that junk? 😡😡 Very unsuccessful?
I am using one !?!🤔😶
