The Big Box was our first exposure to Port Royal, and we're so glad we got it. It's hit the table over a dozen times now, and we always play competitive with Make Sail and half the time with contracts added. Great review, as always. (We've not attempted the "campaign" game yet.)

really great game, especially for its low price, highly recommend
I don't think you mentioned it, but make sail can be combined in with the main deck.
