Watching her reminds me of when I was developing my own technique. There is such a thrill to creating one's own style, that no one else does it quite like oneself. Masterfully done.
I've been enamored of Georgie's art and her technique for a few years now. I'm grateful for this video that shows her technique more in depth. Her pots are stunning! Thank you!
Nicely done, Georgie! This is the first time you've popped up on my feed. Absolutely delightful to watch. Thank you for sharing. You and your work are helping make the world a better place.❤
Georgie, so, so , so beautiful! I am inspired by the shapes and textures and colors. My medium is wood and I create vases similar to your wonderful pieces. I am going to try your method on my work using acrylic paint. Thank you!
Fantastic video! Love the whole journey. You mention they're a bit rough after firing so you "wet and dry them" - not sure what this means? Can you elaborate?
Yes I do bisque everything. I do any cleaning up of edges at the bisque stage (with a scalpel or wet and dry paper) and I also glaze the insides, so they are all water tight 😃

What a treat to be able to see an artist at work. Thank you!

Thank you so much for these videos!! Does anyone know if she waits for the paper to dry before painting on the glaze?
What a stunning technique!
Bloody brilliant artist!!
That's truly a gift from God... You do it so effortlessly ❤
Cuando la artesania traspasa la línea para convertirse en arte. !Qué preciosidad!

It's called wet and dry paper (it's like sandpaper but you do it whilst it's wet) 😃
