Ooh, I’m curious to see what you think about Writing Retreat! I’ve heard some people who loved it, some people who hated it, and I don’t know what to think or if I would want to read it or not, so I haven’t picked it up yet. 😅
Great video I love seeing what’s on everyone’s TBR list and I’m glad I’m not the only one with lots of physical books to read 😊 I’m a mood reader too so I have lots of stacks everywhere in my house just in case my mood changes 🥰
_The Writing Retreat_ was bonkers 😂. So over-the-top, but I did enjoy it. _The First Ladies_ was good. I learned a lot with that one. Nice tbr 👍. Happy reading. P.s. I must get that edition of _To Kill a Mockingbird_ . So beautiful.
Thank you! Yes, I’m learning so much from “The First Ladies”! (Reading right now)! Those women were a force, and Mary McLeod Bethune was…I barely have words…for what she was up against and all she did and her influence! Oh boy, sounds like I’m in for a crazy treat with “the Writing Retreat”! Have a great Saturday!
@@dbooknerd I know. Mary and Eleanor fought hard to make the United States a better place. I forgot to say I LOVE that cover to _Deacon King Kong_ . 👍 Happy weekend.
I really liked Fairy Tale by Stephen King, but it’s long! He’s a very detailed writer, and sometimes you don’t always know where he’s going with something, but I love the way he brings a story together by the end!
I loved Tupac! I’ve watched everything I could on him. I’ll read that book too! You’ve got a fantastic physical TBR!
Wasn’t he fascinating?
Thank you for the tbr compliment.

Glad you liked it. That encourages me to get past the intimidation of it being long and read. Yes, he is very detailed.
yes ma'am you got some books to get through 🤣
And steadily getting more. 🤦🏾♀️
I watched The Other Black Girl series and loved it, but haven't read the book. I heard Deacon King Kong was excellent, I have to read that as well.
Okay, cool. Good to know the series is good. Yeah, I’ve heard “Deacon King Kong” is excellent as well. I’ve heard the author is excellent.
