I used to operate one of these, and there's a censor on each seat belt. The fact it operates shows they disabled it
Cool
Well after young guy died in Florida, you'd think inspections wld be done to all.
@@newhorizon1355 that one didn't have seatbelts it should have I don't know what these people are thinking they tore the tower down now
@@magiccheeseball I thought it was the top seat latch that clicks in and secure the actual seat. Didn’t think there were actual seat belts on these rides. Maybe on a rollercoaster but I didn’t think these had seatbelts.
what pisses me off even more is you can clearly hear this child say.. “can you help buckle mine..” and this uneducated moron just ignores her completely and proceeds to start the ride WITHOUT checking to make sure everyone was buckled.. in my state, they are REQUIRED to check all buckles, seats, chains, and body bars TWICE just to make sure everyone is completely secured and ready to go.. they need to fire this dummy… like.. yesterday.. 🤦🏽♀️🙄🤷🏽♀️😒
This happened to me at universal studios Orlando on the drop towers. We all was screaming for help and no one came. I held onto my daughter's seat for dear life. They set the ride off . I've never been so scared in all my life. We put a massive complaint in. The towers were shut for rest of day .
It’s an extra belt to make people feel safer, you were in no real danger
@@C0astinG4mer It still would have been a terrifying experience
@@entrapta8049 yeah for a little kid
yall will lie about anything huh
@@entrapta8049 I get that but this putting a massive complaint in? Karen, that’s not how seatbelts on rides work. As long as your primary restraint is in place, (as strong as plane flows on an airplane and physically can’t go up until the ride is over) the seatbelt is just there to make the general public say “oh look this is safer because it has an extra belt”.
RIP Tyre Sampson...sorry we still haven't learned...
That was operator/ human error, nothing to do with the ride. I will still happily be riding drop towers. Also the Orlando free fall didn’t even have seatbelts. The seatbelts on this ride are made to make people feel safer, they don’t actually do anything wether their buckled or not
This ride was also at Orlando and it didn’t close, shame on them.
@@C0astinG4mer exactly, even the Orlando slingshot ride had seatbelts.
Well what happened next? The ride continued? The ride was canceled?
Looks like they stopped it halfway and presumably brought it back down slowly.
These carnivals hire street people and homeless with no real concern for safety. Drop ride Orlando example.
Yep, even without the music, they hear the same song, daily, 24hrs a day in their head lol 🙃🤪🤣🤣🤣
They also hire people that are on drugs aswell
They’re still more safe than anything you do on a daily basis
@@C0astinG4mer No the movements are not like walking and getting out of bed.
Fr my local carnival hires random people mostly Hispanics not being racist because I am Hispanic too and also so dudes that look like drug addicts
They have a hydraulic lock on it too. Seatbelt does jackshit. All it really does is has a censor in it to let the ride move (which obviously is broken or turned off somehow) seatbelt CAN be used as a fail safe if the hydraulics fail but they can only fail when they are improperly maintained. And the seatbelt alone would leave a huge gap so a skinny kid would still be flung around a bit (but stay in their seat) if that happened… this is a huge over reaction, scary for the little girl nontheless.
They almost heard her boom, boom...on reality surrounded sound.
What is more upsetting than the workers not checking on her is the person who knowingly saw the issue but continued recording instead of doing the right thing.
How is the person recording gonna do anything
When she saw the little girl reaching for and freaking out over her restraints or lack thereof, the woman recording had sooooo much time before the ride even began to run over to the operator and inform them that a little girl isnt restrained. If she didnt catch on to that, which I know she did, then I know for sure once she heard the little girl screaming on the way up, she could've ran to the operator and tell them that a little girl has no restraints on and the ride is on the way up. That way, they would have known, not to just let the ride DROP which would cause gravity to pull her up and possibly getting thrown from the ride which would without a doubt kill her. Instead, she just sat there. Just sat there and recorded. And just recorded. And recorded. And recorded. She had enough time to run up to the operators 20 times in a row and tell them. That's how much time she had. But what did she do? Just sat on her selfish a*s and recorded a possible tragedy knowing she could have EASILY saved this little girl.
@@TheOfficialMikeRoot but I’m confused wasn’t the mum already telling someone?
Edit: oop I js rewatched it. I guess I see what u mean, but I thought they meant that the person recording was meant to go and like physically save her😭
@@ElizabethAftonShatOnU No, she didn't have to physically save her. Just try to get someone to stop the ride before anything bad happened. It would've avoided a tragedy if she had gotten help first.
Im glas they was screaming loud enough
glas
Boom boom boom…. Foreshadowing?
bom bom bom bom...mr worldwideeee
that bealt is just a extra safety. the yellow bar would hold her
🤣🤣🤣her seat belt loove those screams
A shame you have your name. Repent and return to Jesus.
😂 bruh I work security at city hall so I have to be professional and quiet.I couldn't stop laughing. I don't wish the girl any harm but for some reason I find if hysterical.
This is fake.
It's not
The seat belt doesn’t actuslly do anything.. it’s there for a confidence boost. This was a massive overreaction but the park staff should be fired
💀
You think non ride operators know this? Not showing concern for your child's safety is more concerning imo
@@thepikachu176 a 14 year old died in Orlando 2022 on a free fall ride due to an unlatched seat belt. So I would say it does nothing.
@@RoseKitty26he was to big to fit on the ride, there was absolutely nothing worn g with the restraint
