  • These Explorer's should have came with these in the first place. Specially in the ST trim and above. To have a prop rod on a 61k car is kinda nuts to me, but i digress. The install wasn't bad even with the drilling and id rather do that than cut the plastic trim parts to be honest. I'm not going to be taking them off anyway.

    I would have had to measure to make sure the bracket was right 📐 😂

      I know you saw that. I should have done that. It’s just a hair crooked but you know I see it every time I leave the hood.

    Hi 👋🏻, I like you videos! I had a question. I’m debating on whether or not putting these hood struts on my 2023 ST-line, I noticed I kinda have to drop my hood for it to slam closed. How is it closing your hood it, is it difficult? Do you have to push it down like how you did in your video?

      No. But you do have to almost slam it down. Like I get it about a foot to a foot and a half from being closed and just push down quickly there’s not much resistance from the struts when they’re that far compressed. If that makes any sense.

      After having them on for sometime now, do you still like them? Have you had any problems with them?

      @@Diesel155 I love them. Haven’t had any issues at all. I often forget that the car didn’t come with the hood struts because it really should have.

      Yes, I agree!! for 60+ thousand it should have!! Same with the dang glove box light! I didn’t notice that I didn’t have a glove box light until recently. I’m driving at night and have my wife get me out some hand wipes and there was no light couldn’t see anything at all. Really bummed out about that.!

    You didn't show the finished job on the other side, do you install the bottom the same way?

    • @KnightsGarage
      @KnightsGarage  Рік тому +2

      Yes, it installs the same way. That’s why I didn’t show it. Sorry about that a lot of people complain about videos been too long so I try to cut out as much unnecessary as possible.
