Thanks for the videos. Waiting patiently for my intercooler to come in. Got some other goodies coming too. Charge pipe/bov, thermal r&d 3in cat back with mid, and zfg tune can't wait.
Thanks! I have H&R springs that should be on the way today or tomorrow and I’m patiently waiting for CV fabrication to come out with their Parkside Charge pipes. I’m also looking at whether or not I want to spend the money on the AFE front and rear sway bar kit or just go with the Steeda rear.
@@KnightsGarage I have the steeda front strut and rear away bar. I don't picture afe to really be any better. But I might cancel my steeda springs and go h & r
I have the Thermal R&D 3in cats. Trust me, buddy, you won't be disappointed in that exhaust system. It sounds amazing, and I'm running it on stock downpipes right now.
I also have a 2022 St and I’m following your channel. My question is why do you think you got the “CEL” when removing and taking the blades and motor out?
Because with the factory tune, it looks for the shutters to open to the fully open then close to the fully closed position to know what position they are in. If you remove the shutters, it cannot hit the bump stops for fully open and fully closed. If you’re running an aftermarket tune, the tuner locks the shutters to the open position so you won’t get the code.
Thanks for the response and video. Did you notice any difference with just the intercooler while after driving it? am buying the CVfab myself. I cannot wait to put it on!

Any difference between the CV Fab vs Whipple Intercooler?
Has anyone ever just remove the foam inserts instead of cut them to fit? Are they actually needed?
Do you have your car tuned? I see you had to out the shutters back on?
Nope. Never tuned it.

I have a 2023, how long did it take
About 2 hours but I was filming also.
I forgot to use loctite, is it a big deal?
I wouldn’t sweat it. Just keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn’t loosen up.
What’s the cost in labor to get this done
Idk. I assume somewhere around $500 to 700 but I did it myself the reason I’m making this video to show people how.
@@KnightsGaragegot it, thank you
