A few things about this camera. First, a year later with the 1.20 firmware upgrade, the autofocus is still not as good as the Mark II. Next, if you are shooting in 4K, the camera gets hot. Mine shut down due to heat after 7 minutes shooting in 4K, and a message on the screen said to wait for the camera to cool off before continuing. Lastly, if you are like me, and thought of upgrading from the Mark II to the Mark III because it used the same batteries, be warned that you cannot use aftermarket batteries easily. If you use anything other than a Canon battery, you have to push a few buttons to get the camera to accept the battery, and even then the charge indicator will not work. In order to get people to buy more overpriced Canon batteries, Canon has caused me to return my Mark III for a refund, which I am using to get a Sony. For more money than a Mark II, the Mark III offers slower autofocus, unreliable 4K video, and requires overpriced Canon brand batteries. On the positive side, the microphone jack does allow you to get better audio.
You can charge the camera with a powerbank that has pd (power delivery) and as well keep using it whilst charging or even with no battery pack inserted… auto focus is slow tho! But for thiis size of camera and the canon image quality and finally all the feature spoken about on that video, it is not so bad!
When I watched UA-cam videos I didn't think the G7X Mark III had a good focus in the video. Photos look nice, but the autofocus on the video? Well, I don't know, I don't know if it's the right direction from Canon. If Canon does not release an autofocus update, then the better option is either Sony RX100 VII or VI, at least in my opinion.

Dude I tried so hard to make the g7x III work. Check out my latest vlogs for proof. Returned it for the RX100 vii. Worth the extra money to have your shots in focus.

Mir würde die Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ81EG oder die Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ300EGK zusagen. Welche würdest du da eher empfehlen? Oder hättest du generell eine Empfehlung bis 400€? Mir wäre auch wichtig, dass man über WLAN schnell Fotos aufs Handy übertragen kann. Liebe Grüße!
Hey Daniel, I noticed when I downloading the pictures to my iPhone change the colors to more darker tones, and I really want to keep the normal colors because I work with hair color, I need the same colors to my Instagram posts.

What about autofocus on mark III? Every other video on UA-cam mention that it’s much slower and not working well like on mark II?

Must be paid ad. Autofocus is a dumpster fire.
Great for photo.
Videos I did not have any issues.
However. 4K makes your sensor hot.
