    Finally! Been waiting for this review. Thank you! 😊

    Adding onto this review: I finally got this machine and it checks all the important boxes. I got the 4060 model for $1520 USD since the 4070 model was sold out and super overpriced. I am not a creator at all with no need for the touch screen or dialpad, and I still find it great for gaming and portability needs while remaining in my budget.
    I think this is the best laptop out of the 6 laptops I tried this past month. Indeed I find this to be overall better than Galaxy book 3 ultra (4070), lenovo slim pro 9i 16" (4060 and 4070 model), ROG G14(4060 model), Blade 14(3070ti mercury edition).
    Display quality is way better than any laptop I've tried out. Gaming performance is about on par with the 3070ti blade 14 but ASUS control software is way better than Razer software. Thiis combination of solid keyboard and touchpad is better than the other laptops I've tried too. Build quality is on par with razer and galaxy book 3 ultra. While they performed well, I found the Lenovo Slim pro 9i laptops to be a bit too heavy and big for my needs.
    Only downside to this machine is that it's a huge fingerprint magnet and ASUS needlessly pushes the CPU by default. However You can disable the aggressive CPU boost with minimal gaming performance hit.
    This is probably the best 14" laptop of the year so far if you can get it at MSRP.

      @krawchq Рік тому +2

      @denshaSai this screen is better than the non mini LED version. Zenbook Gaming performance is similar, maybe just slightly worse than g14. The zenbook looks much better and has higher build quality. I found the 4060 model at around 300 USD cheaper though.
      G14 was great for the price but the design looks gaudy and excessive. I think the TouchPad and keyboard was slightly worse too.

    I just got the 4060 16gb version without the touchscreen, a temporary French Amazon exclusive (a G16 and G14 are also available for the same 1999€). Amazing machine, and it was quite cheap at 1999€ incl VAT. Added a second 16 stick and a 2tb 980 pro and this thing just flies. Best screen I've ever used for multimedia. The non-touch version also has less "grain" than the touch version. PWM doesn't really bother me it seems. I don't even notice it. No optimus (normal mux switch) is is the sole negative for me. Oh and a slightly higher pitch than I'm used to at max fan speeds. (Not at all as annoying as my old x13 though...).

    Have been using this notebook for couple days now. My only issues are that there is no AMD CPU config for this notebook and mic + speakers don't work currently under linux (this is common issue with all newer zenbooks). The 2nd issue supposedly will be fixed by ASUS with updated BIOS but there are already some code commits to linux kernel for fixing this issue. I'm seriously considering non-touch Vivobook Pro 16X OLED over this one, because if the grain ruins the screen, there is no point in buying the more expensive AND inferior model. The US pricing for a 4070 Vivobook Pro 16X is the same as 4060 Zenbook Pro 14 (it has been out of stock for a while, too), and Zenbook is still lacking in keyboard and webcam departments anyway.

    This doesn’t make any sense. Your battery life chart in different videos show different results. I’m specifically referring to the battery life chart in G14 vs. RB14 and the chart in this video. In that one, RB14 with 7940HS shows 483 mins of Wi-Fi websurfing, while in this one it says 374 mins. The reason that I like your channel is that you have a comprehensive evaluation criteria on your website, but recently the results are less persuasive due to these conflicting numbers.
