my personal preference would be to combine method 1 and 2, rather than putting more holes in the hat, attach the bottom of the unit to the band on the hat with the zip ties and then cut the velcro down to support the top part of the unit. Even if the Velcro became loose over time, you would only have to deal with it for the rest of that day and then you could renew the velcro and your back up and running
I dig it - Whatever works man, and thanks for sharing. I actually know a guy that's been running the same piece of velcro for 3 years...Always surprised me to see it hold up that long, as a sticky-back, attached direct to the boonie...Thanks for sharing!
@@Exfog wow 3 years!! That’s impressive!! Part of me was concerned about the longevity of the Velcro on the back of the exfog unit. I was worried that over time it might come away slightly or even e drop off with the punishment of the various weather conditions that we put ourselves and our gear through. But if Velcro can keep going strong after 3 years then I’ll be happy. Cheers.

Just got an Exfog, yet to go play a game waiting for my pistol to arrive, I got full seal goggles so I'm just going to slide it under the seal, when I don't have the tube on the fan feels powerful but with tubes it barely feels like anything comes in so I'm a bit skeptical but will come back and update as soon as I have tried it, haven't played a single game of Airsoft without being completely blind so hopefully this works
That's normal. You should feel very very little. You won't get dry eyes but the fog will just evaporate. People say that a lot, until they field test it...You'll love it. But if you do have any questions, or have any issues we're always available to help!

hi new to airsoft,last 2 games of day had to pull out due to not being able to see anything,even after using anti fogging wipes.not going to use a helmet again as screws about vision when aiming,want to go with goggles and a half face mesh mask,can you tell me if that would work with this system please?
That's not a problem man - Any full seal goggles, this will work with. I do low-pro goggles with face mesh all the time, or mid-pro (like revisions) and no issues. Doesn't matter whether you are doing a full size paintball mask, or low-pro sunglass-type goggles, this will work fine. I'm also always available if you ever need help with hookup, troubleshooting, or whatever else bud.
Hmmm, it all comes down to the type of goggles, and how you have it currently situated. If you can either DM me a couple pics with your setup on FB at ExFog, or email me at sales@exfog.com, I'll help ya out...Usually there's some pretty simple solutions.
Rather then cutting the sides off.. I used needle nose pliers to pull the straps through the hoops to velcro it to the hat and secured it that way.. and then the middle strap put it sideways hoop at the front of the hat and turned it to lock it cause you can't just pull the platic piece in the front part through... so moving it sideways allows you to put it in .. PERSONALLY though think its stupid how you don't give the normal headband with the unit how its sold separately. stop nickle and dimming people but thats my two cents.

We have many different kit selections, from Tband, to Headband, to Essential Kits, to Industrial Kits...Also, keep in mind, we are a small business, that started all of this from scratch, with a massive, massive investment...Consider that not every company is "nickel and diming" people. Some, like us, have two jobs, work endless hours for our customers, and are sitting here responding on July 4th weekend, as this is the kind of work a small mom/pop does...We don't close. We wake up in middle of the night to answer customer questions when we hear the "ping", and the list goes on...Thanks either way for the notes on how you prefer to hook up your kit. I am sure people may find that worthwhile...

We are pushing nearly 7,000 in the field at this point, with mostly Airsoft being our largest customer base, and Paintball a hair behind...You would probably be correct if it was a stiff tubing, but being a very pliable set of tubing, and considering there is both a couple mm's play in the skin, as well as the seals themselves, you usually forget it is their very quickly...Not sure what you would use this for, but we have yet to have one returned, or complained about, due to comfort. But I am sure we will sooner or later - Can't make everyone happy, lol!

This past weekend, as an example, I was cursing Aaron's name because my left goggle lens suddenly fogged up.. it was like trying to look through a windshield during a rainstorm and you've got a broken wiper. Turns out, I'd inadvertently pulled the tube out while adjusting my bone conduction comms. I absolutely recommend Exfog. It works well and gives you so much streetcred.

How do I use ex fog with goggles that have a rubber seal? It’s not very comfortable to just stick the tubes under the rubber.

your best bet would be to take a drill and at the top of the goggle put two holes in the top to slide the tubes into the goggles.

Not to be negative, but this seems like it would be really uncomfortable after like 30 mins of use. Like sticking the tube in the sides of the goggles
