Your video editing has become so professional. Thank You. Also it hilarious your continued optimism that a project "won't take long". I plan on triple my most optimistic belief and it generally works out.
Great episode Peter. Loved the shots from the dock of Geordie underway. The time lapse of you rowing just made me laugh. I'm obviously easily amused. You make more progress in a one week episode than I make in a month. Thanks for the inspiration.
Each week you produce another suspenseful episode as we don’t know which project you plan to tackle. I really loved watching MV Geordie from a distance pulling away from the fuel dock. I forgot how beautiful that boat is. Cheers!
As usual, great combination of work/time lapse/audio discussion. However two thoughts, although we can’t see it - I hope you wear a dust mask when sanding, particulate matter in your lungs has negative lingering effects and we inhale before we exhale to blow sawdust away! We should always have access to/wear a pfd even while rowing-too many stories of head “strikes” around the docks and falling overboard when unconscious! Thx for bringing us along. 😊😊😊 John Ken
It certainly was suspenseful watching the removal of the centre window. I knew what would have happened if I'd attempted that! - Not pretty that's for sure. I'm very much looking forward to the Love it, Love it, Love it when the staining and varnishing is complete! And of course, that is also suspenseful..
This kind of automatically rhymed itself into being while I watched: 🙃 You are prepping Poem for stain, Her windows come under strain, From drinking old beer you refrain, Financially you're not in pain. (which is good to hear) Alternative version after I heard what the Word Of The Week was: 🤣 You seal before staining - makes sense. The caulking is partly quite dense, The windows make for some suspense, And you still have enough pence.
Hi Peter, It was extremely tense, something we all could sense, you don’t sit on the fence, or keep us in suspense, you got at it with gusto, and the window did not busto ! Ole.
I feel a sense of suspense as we eagerly await the completion of the MV Poem, grateful for Peter's hard work and dedication that has made this project truly suspenseful and captivating. I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Peter for his unwavering commitment and tireless efforts, which have added a suspenseful touch to the completion of the MV Poem, leaving us all on the edge of our seats.
Ahoy Peter, loving your work, I was wondering if you watched the UA-cam episode of The Art Of Boat Building S3 E17 - (series building Victoria, Arabella's - tender to be), really interesting project .... Bob used Potassium dichromate and treated white oak rudder stocks with it .... the "antique patina" that forms as a reaction to the tanin in the oak, after the varnish (unknown brand) was applied the wood developed an attractive rich mahogany colour ..... a finish you might be interested in.
I was actually on the edge of my seat in suspense watching you remove that middle window. I have tried that before ending up with frustrating cracks in the glass.
For me it's not a SUSPENSE to find this ginger beer, we have it in supermarket store in Quebec, very strong flavor and a little bit expensive but i absolutely love it (they make tonic water too but didnt try it)
Great Video!!! I hope everything turns out perfectly fine. For a moment of suspense I thought you were about to drop the idea of reinstalling those windows eyebrows…
She,s coming along nicely looking superb. Your wooden wonder gonna get a fright when ya start back on her. Hope ya get better Summer than we did...lasted about month and half the rest of the time wind and rain or both most disappointing. Anyhoo enjoy the cruising. ;0)
Love your videos I wanna live your life. I live in Seattle may have to come pay a vist when I get my first boat. Looking a a 1947 Chris craft 45ft double cabin. I finally feel like I found my calling.
It’s been suspenseful watching you work on Poem down to the wire. Now time to suspend that work and resume some care for Geordie. Hopefully the weather is favorable for you, not too hot!
Bad rhymery follows. No T-shirt, please and thankyou... The USS Susp was a formidable craft Four-masted, twin-engined, and six hundred men Half of a furlong, walked forward to aft Up close hard to know where Susp starts and Susp ends
I have watched your videos from the beginning and look forward to seeing them every week. My only request is that you lose your love affair with the fast motion segments. They take away the relaxation of cruseing and frankly are kinda nauseating. Just my opinion, think about it love everything else you do.
The time-lapse rowing was highly entertaining. Suspensefully yours, a loyal viewer.
I can't believe you still only have less than 30k subs! Great work as usual Mr Knowles!
Fantastic work Peter, you do not cut corners and that will add life to the boat. Well done.
We are never in suspense about your videos-they are always top notch!

We all experience the suspense of what will be included in the next episode.

Great to see Geordie moving through the water from a distance.

Peter you always keep us in suspense on the next of your amazing episodes. Good job on the backup beer, it’s always great to have a backup plan.

Your best episodes are those that are suspenseful! But thanks to your incredible problem-solving skills, there's always a happy ending 😊
As my son ask me when working On the boat "are we having fun yet?"
Plying a budget out of a boat project and fixing it in to be watertight is always suspenseful ⚓️✌️✨

Poem is a lovely little boat Peter. But it’s great to see you back with SV Geordie.
Cool filming with the high-speed rowing
Stay safe and we'll see you next week.
My suspenseful moment was when you launched the dingy. I would have ended up with at least a gallon of sea water sloshing around. Another great video.
Peter, you have really done a fine job on Geordie. She is a beautiful boat. Excellent videos.
Excellent boat handling moving Geordi the work on Poem is progressing nicely and really starting to take shape Peter.
Bonus glance of Rita H. Pearl at 7 minutes!
I wait each weekend in suspense for the next episode. Good to hear you are in good shape and keen to see the next bit of renovation
/ restoration.
The only way to make a Dark and Stormy!

You should go in the olympic rowing team Mr Knowles!
Your row boat tug skills are amazing. Lots of work this week! Hope you get enough done to take a little time off to recoup before the cruising starts.
Brilliant work Peter!

When reefing seams you might try using a mallet on the reefing iron to help remove the old material. Hooking it out by hand gets old real fast.
I’m in suspense on how your going to finish all this!!! But, I know you will my friend. Been a patron for a long long time !!
it was very suspenseful watching you drink that old beer... :)
Held in suspense until next week!
Perspective Peter, perspective! Florida 94° ... Feels like 100°! Perspective!!!!
Great work Peter! It's suspenseful to see how things will turn out!
Some suspense adds spice.

Who will get a T shirt next week? The suspense is killing me!
Looking great keep up the great work we'll all be watching !!
Nice to see boats on the move. Thanks
That’s funny I was just thinking of you and the Patreon notice popped up! 😊
I'm in suspense in how it will all turn out!!

I think the plastic tote has become the standard storage for everyone but Boats are just big bins…Right?
With great care we suspend the advancement of time for our wooden vessels.
Dark and Stormies, am I correct in thinking it’s dark rum?
Keep up the good work.

There's few places in the world as nice as Victoria.

👍!!!
Your Fein tool should have come with a lot of contour pads for shapes, Why the wood blocks?
Great episode Peter. What is the name of the App you used for current forecast in BC waters?
⭐⭐⭐
Did he say in memory of Geordie
Looked really hot, what temperatures do you get at this time of year?
So when do you suppose this 'Adventurous Cruising' you have in all your intro's is going to happen?
We are all in suspense for the puppy we know is in your future. Face it Peter, you are a dog guy, it's a missing piece of your soul.
Hello Peter , off topic a bit . Do you think that a MV Geordieesque type of boat could make the trip from Florida to the Bahamas safely ?
Hi Peter. What app is that you use to display the currents?
Its in the description mate!
@@stevenholton438 thanks. Hard to see that on my phone.
