@@TrendyTryhardthe video setting tips are for people with systems that are malfunctioning. Obviously Riot will make the best settings default. For most people changing these settings will make their game worse.
raw input buffer on, NVIDIA reflex low latency on or on + boost, auto equip prioritize on your preference. for the people who don't wanna rewatch!
Yours is the only helpful comment I have found in the comments.
If you have nvidia reflex on + boost keep it on - on + boost. It basically reduces GPU consumption and uses you GPU in more optimized way to reduce power draw and provide more fps.

Reflex On + Boost does NOT reduce power draw. In fact +Boost will do the opposite and draw more power while enabled when compared to just the Reflex On option. This is most certainly not a bad thing though unless you are gaming on the go with a laptop and battery life is of concern.
With that in mind, Yes just as OP stated, YOU SHOULD ABSOLUTELY HAVE On+Boost selected for the best input latency!
The +Boost option will try to Boost your GPU's coreclock, whilst disabling the GPU's power saving options which could be hindering its performance for the sake of being more eco-friendly/power-efficient.
TLDR; The Reflex On+Boost will provide you the least lnput latency at the cost of MORE power draw, so laptop users just keep in mind! 😅

i think it’s the worst advice coming from a channel like this. let’s say your strongest gun is marshal/op and you also have shorty, when you want to make a close range fight after using a utility, having the most recent gun option would be better so you could use ur shorty. or let’s say you have a judge/spectre and a sheriff, when you need to make an open range gun fight, automatically equipping your judge (or any other gun that’s weak for longer ranges) would be the worst scenario.

Input in VALORANT is always raw. Raw Input Buffer is a fix for mice with high polling rate ( > 1 Khz)

That's not what raw input buffer does, your inputs ALWAYS go straight into the game engine. The input buffer is something that helps with extremely high polling rate mice in the 4K+ range. You should still have it on, but this being "raw input" is a misconception, it's always raw input, you're turning on a buffer that reduces CPU consumption of high polling rate mice.

For those who have an older version of graphics card even if its 1660 ti, super etc don't turn on nvidia reflex, it limits your fps for some reason, its only good for the rtx series... And 80 htrz and above monitors.

@@hungcao919 if its a newer version like 2020, possible but I rather not, but if you really want to, check if you drop 10 - 30 fps, micro stutters and if you feel like your movements are slower when its on, don't turn it on, but if everything is fine, then you can.
severe syntoms is spike ping, lower fps like drops to 50 fps. sometimes your game will also freeze.
and lastly if you are using a laptop then definitely no.

Not only does RAW input buffer not matter for most mice but it also weirdly increases your sensitivity in game. Either way it doesn't really matter this guy is giving dumbass advice instead of actually coaching the person to improve at the game
Me who didn't have those but manage to become gold 1 today. It depends on your performance, but this help for the lag to reduce technically.

Mouse acceleration is automatically turned off regardless if rawinputbuffer is on or off, as raw input is on by default and rawinputbuffer is something else
Exactly. I don't know why people still think that you have to turn off mouse accel on windows still. It's been debunked for so long

It's not after using abilities it's after defusing or interacting with orbs, mainly orbs. It used to be a HUGE upset before this... as even if you had your primary equipped it would auto equip melee which would leave you with your pants down if someone peeked. Mostly displayed on Bind's B long orb, the biggest culprit.

Turning on raw input buffer can sometimes make your mouse side buttons (if you have them) disabled as it did that for me
raw input buffer off if using raw accel, nvidia reflex on + boost if 2070 super or better and no boost if worse
quick tip for raze mains, DONT DO THAT FINAL TIP, your ult will not be equipped after you satchel, so it makes the ult a lot less powerful

For most mouses raw input buffer will not make a difference. Only works for a mouse with a higher than 1k polling rate. And u can just turn off mouse acceleration

Never used the auto equip, I just have the reflex of hitting 1 or 2 mid animation which makes me equip the weapon I want without going through melee before. (It's even better than the strongest weapon cuz it allows you to pick with your pistol when you have an empty mag or when your primary is less efficient at this range, like when you have specter at long range or operator at close and would prefer to use your secondary)
only use on + boost if your gpu is series 20 or more

Bruh, the first one is meant for mice with over 1kHz of polling rate. The RawInputBuffer had nothing to do with the Raw Input from other games like CS. Unreal Engine 4 already reads the input from the mouse “raw”.
