do you know if they allow car camping on either the FHU or dry tent site? (there is another RV park nearby that does not allow car camp) also do you recall seeing power outlet in restroom or laundry room where i can charge my battery while doing the laundry?
I couldn't find anywhere on the site that prohibits car camping. This is in a National Park run by a concessionaire. So, they probably would, but I would call the number to verify: 800.449.2288. Private parks often do not allow car camping, but this is not a private park. As far as electric outlets, there is a large bathhouse, laundry room, store, and outdoor restaurant there. I would assume they would have outlets. We didn't go in the campground bathrooms, so we don't know about those. They were very small. Ask when you call and I'm sure they can help. The campground is closed until April 26th, so I'm not sure if they are answering calls at this time, but it's worth a try.
There are 15 FHU sites. Those 15 are the only sites in Morefield Campground with electric. I am in a low service area right now and haven't been able to check the amps offered at those sites. The website doesn't say. Here is the link with information. Click on the Book Now to go to the reservation site. www.visitmesaverde.com/lodging-camping/morefield-campground/ However, if you can't nab one of those FHU sites, check out Mesa Verde RV Resort. It is a nice private park right next to Mesa Verde National Park. Here is their website: mesaverdervresort.com/ Here is our review of that park: ua-cam.com/video/dqqyGiTJy7I/v-deo.html There is another private park close by. We didn't stay there, but it's another option. Ancient Cedars/ Mesa Verde RV Park. Happy travels! 😊👋
Full hook-ups, nice! I think there are sites there big enough for your rig, so but to be safe, I'd call them to verify you'll fit and make sure they assign you one that's big enough. Enjoy your trip! 🙂👋
Thank you for being so precise!! Your video was very helpful.

Hi. Thanks for this video, we have booked a full hookup site for May 2023. One question: Do you know if those sites can accommodate a 35 foot RV?
