No password asking fixed: Root cause is mac os remember your password during create image, you need to delete it in keychain. support.apple.com/kb/PH7293 In "Password" find your image name and right click to delete it.

I think you're clicking on something before clicking "create image" when opening disk utility. If you are then just open disk utility and without selecting anything click on "create image". If you're not clicking on anything before that then I don't know what the problem is. Good luck!

The folder pops up in the "finder" window with the rest of your "devices". Then you can access it like normal. When your done and wanna hide it again hit the "eject" button. Thumbs up so everyone can see this!!!!

Awesome...except the .dmg file doesn't require the password before it is trashed and the trash emptied. It required the password before being opened...just not deleted. Did I do something wrong? I don't want the folder opened but it'd be worse if it was deleted.

I can't find it. Mine shows none of these things. I have the most recent IOS and all it shows in top left is First Aid.

It didn't show me the folder which in your case was just called "Top Secret" on the desktop. How do i get it to do this?

Ok, this is good, but PC's do not recognize DMG files. What format can you use that will transfer from a USB flash memory card from a Mac to a PC?

It does not appear you can increase file size on Lion. When you set the file up file size does not show up as a choice option. Is this true?

Are the files inside secure from searching in finder? for example the file is Bunny Rabbit, if i search Bunny Rabbit will that show up in the Finder

Would it take that 1 GB space in your hard drive even if the folder is empty? Can it adjust its size based in how much you put in?
