Before I retired as a professional handyman, I offered pressure washing services for houses and outside surfaces. One of the most satisfying jobs I ever performed, so I can see why you enjoy doing it. It’s instant gratification for your efforts.
You are doing a supper good job. Very interesting to. Love watching you go about your chores, as Iam now 80 and not able to those things any more as I too was raised on the far. God bless your days.
Thanks for your video! From my UA-cam viewing your dairy is always as clean as possible. Even the other buildings and even the property surrounding the farm buildings is well kept. Your parents have instilled pride in you and others.
I love to pressure wash as well. But not living on a farm and living in Oregon, I pressure wash moss, mold and mildew from my outdoor patios and cedar decks. Instant gratification!
Hello! I'm new to your channel and am loving your videos! We are a family farm located in central Iowa and we share life on the farm on UA-cam as well! I am a 13 year old girl and I run our UA-cam channel! Thank-you for taking us along with you as you clean the milking parlor! I enjoyed the video and am looking forward to more!
So happy to see. You today!!!I honestly brought up your old videos yesterday to watch them again. I'm in my 70ties but itch to be right there helping. Great job!!!
You are right about mental health being related to work space. -40 Celsius this morning in Manitoba so won’t be power washing much till nicer weather arrives. Keep up the good work and stay safe.
Look into auto detailing attachments for cleaning delicate electronics can be used on drills and with lil or no water!!! Used the wheel cleaning ball to prep areas for paint in animal cages at a zoo!
Great video! I would love to see a video of you bedding the individual calf pens. Also very interested in you walking us through tagging and recording info on new born calf's.
I'm with you...that would really get to me that it was so built up on there. Doing the soaking and pressure wash once a week as well as the rinse that gets done with the fire hose after each milking will make a huge difference on the cleanliness. Rule of thumb is always clean from the top down.....Job welll done !
I saw the comment about using a turbo nozzle and yep can do a lot of damage. However, a "power washer deck attachment" or "surface attachment" is gentler and a huge difference. Might be awkward on that angle but could be awesome. You'll definitely use it on the floors. So much faster and addicting.
She was probably down interviewing for an extra on 1883 TV series! If she wasn't she should have? She can all ready ride better than most, and she could help the Wranglers train Horse and Rider!
9:50 Try using the power washer lance from the top down instead of cleaning the bottom or middle then moving up? Seems like it would be saving time, soap and water.
That is really nice. Love the clean and shiny look, The soap used...is it a truck cleaning soap or an antibacterial soap you specially order? How do you clean the front top panel on the inside walkway?
Miss Neline, at 7:40 or so you mention the electronic sensors in the stall headlocks not being water resistant? I'll guess that they're magneto-strictive and that implies these sensors are sealed - potted in plastic and they're able to be immersed in water w/o failure? I'd guess your system mfg/vendor could field the question about pressure washing the housings? for you and you could go ahead and clean those shoulder harnesses as well as the rest of the parlor? Thanks for posting your entertaining and informative videos.
Hi, I love your videos. I know from experience the power washing is a hard and time-consuming job, but the results are always very rewarding. One thing I have learned is on the floors and flat surfaces the rotating brush that fits on the end of the wand is so much easier and faster than just using the one nozzle. You may want to check into that, I think you will be well satisfied. God bless you.
7:30 trouble cleaning where the sensors are - I don't know your exact set-up, but you could: 1. remove the sensor and put in a dummy plug to cover the connection or 2. instead of dummy plug clean the unit and blow out the plug with compressed air before reconnecting. Hope something works.
Great video Naline . You never stop.It is really nice to see it so clean. How are the 🐐 goats. It is nice to have something for yourself.Do you ever have time with your boyfriend, like a date night.Takecare and Keepsafe.🥰😷😀🦋🏴🐄🐐🐇
Hi Naline! Great to see a new video :) I see that you are using a straight nozzle for the pressure washer wand, try talking to your dad and see if you can get a rotating nozzle instead. They are more powerful, and makes it way easier to clean with it! :) Rotating Nozzle: ua-cam.com/video/3C3UuGZI0eE/v-deo.html
If it's not a classified secret, may I ask what your foam spray is, or consists of? If you would use a backpack/garden sprayer to apply your pre-soak detergent to those loops with the sensors, and then lightly rinse with a garden hose and fan spray nozzle, I don't think you'll do any long-term damage to the sensors. 🐂👍🇺🇸
Not really! Just gotta take everything with a grain of salt, and also realize that everyone is coming from a place of good intentions 😊. Some of the tips actually help me out too sometimes!
I missed seeing you and the babies good to see you.

I had a plumber tell me, “ it’s stainLESS steal, not stain NEVER steal.”
That makes way more sense! 😂
I think it is wonderful that you take such personal interest in that "heavy cleaning" You see it and want it done. Wonderful!
Great Vlog Naline. We need a Pumpkin update and all the little goats ❤️

Yay! You're back. I've been watching Jan's trade show videos... Cool stuff. I'd really like to come visit you this spring. A date maybe?
Thanks for your video! From my UA-cam viewing your dairy is always as clean as possible. Even the other buildings and even the property surrounding the farm buildings is well kept. Your parents have instilled pride in you and others.
True. That is the way I need to look at things as well, positively. Thanks.
Thanks for sharing this view of managing the milking parlour.

Lot of hard work to keep it clean. If you get inspected, the cleanliness goes a long way
Love the powerwashing, it makes everything look so clean and healthy

Thanks. Looks good.
You have been missed👍
Simply Orange is a great cleaner for organic messes.
Good Show. Aim the wand at 45 not 90 it chases the dirt way better .
Great job. Enjoyed the video.

while jan is in the wilds of fresno, this is the "meanwhile, back at the ranch" episode
Try wrapping construction plastic around the electronic equipment and you can use the pressure washer on it.
Good job on some tedious work. Always enjoy your videos

Was wondering where you were, long time without a video. Watching you is much better than watching your brother.
Sooo...bandwagon will want Jan to clean bobcat scraper NOW!! LOL
Nice to see you.

You need to try the turbo nozzle on your pressure washer, it works a lot better than the fan nozzle. You won't regret it.
I like clean......nice job !
Sooo...NEW month of March any Special Procedures on the dairy..herd health, paperwork, inventory??

Rotating Nozzle: ua-cam.com/video/3C3UuGZI0eE/v-deo.html
We do have one! I’m not the hugest fan of using it in the parlour though, as it can very easily wreck stuff since it’s so strong 🥲.
@@ADairyonthePrairie - Oh, that does make sense! :)
Try using sanitation wipes to clean electrical components.
Missed your videos don't forget us
How cold does it get in the milking parlor when it’s -40 Celsius outside? Have missed seeing you! Stay warm!
What did you use for the foam soap?
How many cows are you milking? How long does it take to milk? do you milk 2 or 3 times a day? I know farmers here in Ohio that milk 3 times a day.
... Cheers ...
What kind of soap do you use?
Pressure washing is like cocaine once you start it’s hard to stop. I personally love high end turbo nozzles.
If it's not a classified secret, may I ask what your foam spray is, or consists of?

Very nice job, unfortunately cleaning is one job all of us do that has no end.
👍👌❤🇨🇦
Extra work equals extra pay right?
Do you ever get under the mats
Where is ur brother he hasn’t been putting videos up I still watch urs but just wondering
He has put out four videos in the last week or so
@@JGDIXON88 ya I found it somehow I got unsubscribed
My OCD says that he’d pressure wash the parlor for free!
He? Whoa, I missed something.
Do you ever get sick of people telling you what to do in the comments? Try this, do that, blah blah.

You should wear eye-protection when pressure washing. I'm a proud safety-Karen.
