@@dvlop0018 Nope. Simeon and Ben (vTuned) were in school together. Their only family connection is one of Ben's older sisters is married to one of the Goonzquad's older brothers, which of course wouldn't be legal in most states if they were first cousins!

As a small time salvage repair hobbyist for over 20 years I finally broke down and bought a small frame machine similar to the one you are using. Biggest difference is I bought a used unit from a shop that had gone out of business for $200. It's been a great asset for a few years now. You do great work and I've learned a lot from your videos.

Sentra came out so clean you would almost forget it needed body work and paint. You know your stuff man 💯
I wish people still used lead, back in the day, before bondo, they'd heat it up, slap on some lead, wipe it down with a cloth and done.....no bondo. Many car makers STILL use that method to this day.....

I’m totally amazed at the education this video provides for inside look between the shell, the frame and the collective structure of everything. 👍
It also gives great tips how to avoid all protection: ears, eyes and hands and also how to use angle grinder without the disc shield. Truly impressive work and amazing talent!
great job man, a lot of people criticize but they have no idea how hard it is to do this especially you doing it by yourself, that takes skills bro, i had a very big auto body shop, and did some of the same stuff buying salvage cars and repairing them, keep up the work, i love watching these stuff in my spare time.
I assume these lot of people critizing, are people in the field. You dont cut a B pillar and weld it in the inner structure.
I know this is a salvage car and everything, and it requires alot to actually do it correct way (replacing the entire B pillar), but there are reasons for that, as you weaken the Ultra High Strength Steel by welding it.

That Nissan is looking amazing Ben. Those gaps are perfect. You have a calibrated eyeball. You should make good money on that flip. Wear your safety glasses. It doesn't happen often, but if that cutting wheel comes apart, you could lose an eye. Don't leave us hanging on the Nissan. Get it finished up.
You did an excellent job, turned out great on the Sentra. Nice seeing you helping the Goonz guys. I gotta say, watching you, your brothers and the Goonz guys grinding, drilling and air sanding with no safety glasses just freaks me out. All it’s going to take is a errant piece of metal in an eye and there goes the vision possibly. But great work nonetheless.

There is no question to your abilities Ben. and for the doubters go pound sand. You had a good plan and great execution. That little frame tool was the ticket for your need. I am digging that simple frame machine. It works well and doesn't require it's own bay.
What a magician!
I have been impressed recently by examples I have seen of laser welding. It can be done with or without fill wire. Especially without, you get clean beads that require little postprocessing. You should get in on it. I'd like to watch someone master this relatively new tech.
Nice video. You should use PPE. Eye protection and hearing protection.

It is necessary, it shows that being flashy and getting the best stuff does not compare to real skill and talent
The goonz never stated they are body experts, they on numerous occasions stated they want to learn. Can't be an expert in everything
@4WheelBuilds , I fully agree with your comment. All we need to do is to be happy, motivated and learn from these guys. These guys are not into this to compete against each other. Like you're saying, they are learning, it shouldn't be a crime that they have the best equipment than Vtuned.

They are living a dream at the moment, good for them they work hard for it. I also am trying to kick of a channel thus am all to aware how much work and dedication it takes to do what they do.

I am pretty sure the paint on both the Sentra's are brilliant silver as long as they are both that type of silver the year wont matter :) mine is a 2016 Sentra SR same color looks good Ben thx for you videos excellent as always.

When I worked at a automotive sealer company we got a dozen camaro convertible body sides and some regular non convertible sides to strengthen the rear quater pannel for the radio antenna ... we sprayed metal stiffener a patch about 5inch square to strengthen it.... no idea if they ised us tho...

The Sentra will look factory original when done. Nice work! As a side note, I assume you have noticed the small dent on the roof above the pillar.

It is so nice to watch a young guy build cars without constantly watching the two boys learning every thing they do. I would have hired you in my body shop in an instant after watching you work. But alas that was way back before you were even born!

You give it plenty of effort and a good go which gets you your results. Personally I take datum measurements throughout the process for more exacting and precise pulling and alignment, I would have only replaced the out sill and the doors ending up with a perfectly aligned body in a lot less time, having said that its each to their own and I have been at it 40 years and more, and been on more update courses than I care to mention.

Reading all the comment praising your works is great.The warnings about stuff in the eyes should scare you guys.I had 5 tiny slivers of glass removed and it still wasn't enough.2 days later a specialist brought micro tools and got 3 more.One tiny little cube of 'safety glass' becomes powdered when a grinding wheel,or brush hits in a power tool.It ricochets too...under my regular glasses lens, through my eyelid,and through the skin at the corner of my eye.I can see.Thankfully.It was like a pinch of sand under my eyelid for over a week because it had gone into the white,but scratched the inside of the lid pretty bad.
