Been here since the beginning and your hard work and dedication to fixing things the right way still blows me away. I’m turning 40 this year and I wish I had half the skill that you do Vtune.
Exactly I used to be terrified to mess with my vehicles mine you this was over 20 years ago. Now I would don't think twice of pulling out my transmission in the driveway if need be. As long as you put them back together the same way they came apart 9 times out of 10 that's all you need to know Obviously with some exceptions.
I like these quick fix vehicles just as much as the massive rebuilds. Sounds like they don't burn you out and makes more sense financially, so do more!
I'm glad to see you're back with some regularity those goon squad boys have been slacken and I enjoy watching you just as much so fill in the gap. I think in the business world that is called capturing more market share.
Looking great Ben! Can’t wait to see how close you got the alignment. It will be nice to see the interior cleaned up and have the beauty back on the road. See you in the next installment.
This is what you're best at Ben. You seem inspired doing the quick rebuilds and you are noticeably happier working on them. Forget the big builds, they distract you too much and I think the channel will grow more this way. Good luck. P.s. You need a good tidy up around the garage!!😂😂
@@jerrywilcox9890brother, ain't getting much better than this guy. I've been buying and selling (salvage) cars for a long time and I can honestly say that I know nobody with his skills. This guy puts mechanics with 30+ years of experience to shame.
@bmwm6cabrio06 there's a lot out there that can do the same thing and better they just don't post on UA-cam he's far from the only one hahaha.dont get me wrong he's good but he's not the only one.
Hey Ben. Great video and want to let you know that going from wrecked to running in one video was a great format. I fully understand that you can't do that very often--but, it was cool. good work.
Simple and quick in before noon guaranteed done in two days ,nice find Ben great looking truck, and it needed repairs, you make it look to easy, definitely lots of practice ,awesome job on the video 👍 👍👍
Ben this was a great quick video . The exotic stuff is cool, but this is way more realistic for the backyard mechanic. You also did most of this by yourself. Teach us guys how to do it affordable and quick. Thank you
Put some hose over the brake bleeder valve and put the other end in a old half bottle of brake fluid. That way when you let the brake peddle up it doesn't suck in air and you can bleed them by yourself.
I’m curious, why not just put spindle wheel assembly on while truck is on trailer? It’s gotta be done anyway? Am I missing something?? Enjoyed the video. Cool truck too
My opinion to you, I’d fix and sell that Ford. The owner of the company I work for had the same truck. The turbos fail quite frequent, and the transmission is not good as well if it’s the 10 speed one. Just some things to inspect before you get to deep into the truck.
Hey Ben you can bleed the brakes by yourself easy. Just put a small rubber tube on the bleeder screw/port and put it in a bottle on the ground. After you pump a few times the bottle fills a little and if the hose is at the bottom, the air comes out and will only suck fluid back. Or put a board on the brake pedal to hold it down while you tighten the bleeder screw. Done.
Been watching for a few years now and I gotta say that the quick rebuild was fun to watch. I would definitely be into seeing how much these type of builds cost too.
If you bleed the brakes on your own just leave the bleed screw with a rubber line to a container with a little brake fluid and keep it submerged that way when you let your foot off the brake it will not draw air back into the line through the bleed but draw liquid from your container.
I love fords too nice build... when you paint you should rhino line the bed and maybe a tanu cover.. great episode still digging your content cant wait to see more
Ben. That lift is the reason this truck was wrecked in the fist place. Without the proper control arms they are binding, causing the weakest link (the hub assembly) to break at the top. I would remove them immediately so it doesn’t happen again.
got dang man, 1 day rebuild!!!!!! cant wait to see you break 1m man you really deserve. you been thru so much with this channel and still just keep kicking azz and taking names
It's amazing to me what insurance companies "total" on a vehicle. I have a feeling the owner was standing there during the assessment and might have had some say in the final outcome because that was an afternoon worth of work to get a perfectly good truck back on the road. Kudos to you for recognizing the simplicity and picking it up for what I can only assume was a decent price.
Not to be picky because you do a great job, but you would be better off to clean those rusty rotors before installing them. Awesome work overall, love the videos.
Just a thought why not just re-paint the whole truck since it's been in the sun and it most likely faded this way it's a fresh paint job all around and it's all the same color just a thought I'd share with you keep up the awesome work Venn...Niko in Arizona
You need to get in touch with MPT down in Florida for a tune!!! You'll be surprised at what that truck can actually do. The Gen 2 2.7 (what you have) can run full e85 on the stock fuel system. You could surprise quite a few people who think that truck is slow😂
Great job Ben, I too have an F-150 with a 2.7. I did the leveling kit and added the Raptor Grill Raptor Wheels running 285/75. Averaging 19-20 mpg. I would love to see you do a chip (tune) and please do that on video..
V-TUNED NICE JOB ON REPAIRING THE TRUCK SO FAR. AFTER IT IS PAINTED IT WILL BE ALMOST LIKE A NEW TRUCK. GLAD YA GOT A TRILER FOR A GREAT DEAL. TAKE CARE. 👍
I used to do the same thing Ben. I bought wrecks and rebuilt them for myself but wound up selling them to family for what I had in them, or gave them to family. God will bless you for helping family and friends with cars and trucks.
I’m a Ford technician and see those leveling kits all the time almost all of them nearly touch the springs. I really don’t like them cause they mess with the camber and pull the wheels farther into wheel well, they should be sticking out about an inch more than that. Also keep an eye on that oil pan. biggest issue on the 2.7l is the leaking oil pans
The leveling kit is at least a 3",that's why the ball joint angle is so bad. Just put stock struts in it, and drive the wheels off. The 2.7 is much more reliable than the 3.5.
Nice job Ben! Get rid of the front lift springs or get new upper control arms or your going to loose a wheel like the guy who wrecked it , that ball joint will fail at those angles !
you made a good move of getting some easily fixed cars/trucks and flip them. No point of making 20 videos of heavily damaged cars for contents. Hope your channel continue to get more subscribers.
You need to put some asphalt on that property. Also clean it up. Looks more like a junkyard. A business is a reflection of who you are. Aways, keep it looking good.
The shop's lot definitely needs a clean-up! Maybe then Vtuned will work on one of the two Mustang projects, again? Maybe Mustangs are his kryptonite. Else, he can fix an F150 in one video!
Love this Truck !!! please keep it as a shop / Daily Driver Love the color and the Trim is perfect for a work truck ... Maybe its time to sell that McLaren and get some cash back into the shop / Channel for some new builds .. on 50k on this truck you did good are you going to share cost and what u needed to sped to fix it up
Ben, your cousins have a brand new paint booth. I'll bet you they would be glad to get into it themselves! Great choice from the yard! Btw, how is the new missus and all?
@johnr9965 Yeah, my thought also. Bleeding the ABS/ESP pump might be necessary if it has gone dry. Very hard if not impossible without engaging the ABS or doing it with a scan tool with an ABS/ESP pump bleeding function. I've done both ways successfully but seriously recommend a tool that activates the ABS/ESP pump while opening the bleed nipples simultaneously while keeping an eye on the brake fluid container and topping it up at the same time because it runs out quickly. I have a brake bleeder tool connected to the reservoir that fills it up with brake fluid automatically when the brake fluid level goes down in the reservoir. Every shop should have such a tool.
I love it! And it looks like you enjoyed the super simple build for once! 😅 Seems like there’s a story on the White OBS ford that’s been chillin there?
Good job, Ben. We appreciate you straightforward approach to getting the build DONE!

Almost full of gas!!! Win win!!!❤ I love watching your builds Ben. God is good! 🙏🏼
Nice to have a channel thats mostly work and less talk ! That was a pretty easy rebuild Ben !
You used to be the best body guy on UA-cam imho. Now I think you are the best car guy period as you finish your stuff mostly by yourself. Respect bruv
I like these quick fix vehicles just as much as the massive rebuilds. Sounds like they don't burn you out and makes more sense financially, so do more!

Think there's some frame damage to fix firstly. That leg looked bent....hope not 👍
Nice one Ben. Can't run this type of business without a decent truck and trailer. Keep up with th good work. Cheers, Bob in the UK

No he needs to do the big builds it pushes him to learn more be better.

Luv this channel. Working on cars, nothing else. Epic.
That truck was a good buy, easily fixed and just needing a couple more parts and paint and it's done.
I’m curious, why not just put spindle wheel assembly on while truck is on trailer? It’s gotta be done anyway? Am I missing something?? Enjoyed the video. Cool truck too
V.tune that was cool to see the string on the tires very neet. Never seen that in my life. Always learning from your channel great work v.t
You didn't mess around with fixing this truck,... a one day job!! Great job too!
My opinion to you, I’d fix and sell that Ford. The owner of the company I work for had the same truck. The turbos fail quite frequent, and the transmission is not good as well if it’s the 10 speed one. Just some things to inspect before you get to deep into the truck.
They are such garbage, agreed. Not your Grandpas Ford anymore
Another great addition simple and not to much expenditure to get it back looking good 👌

Thanks for the string tip.Awsome
You got a nice rig there Ben! Congrats!!!
Been watching for a few years now and I gotta say that the quick rebuild was fun to watch. I would definitely be into seeing how much these type of builds cost too.
Great job Ben, you should totally throw some new wheels on this truck!
Looks really good, panel gaps look spot on.
I'm glad to see your channel

One man bleeder kits are cheap to buy and easy to make.
Good job. I'd definitely jettison that leveling kit. Especially on a 2wd.....
Your brothers are always there for you so really nice that you can do the same in return. You’re a product of great parenting.
You win again, just keep thinking positive and trust in your hard earned skills. Kool vid.
Nice truck Ben and a very quick repair done. Enjoyable to watch you do your magic. Take care.
Quick fixes are always a great reward. Now, just get that lot cleaned up. Startin to look like a salvage lot.
Love this different type of a build brother!👏🏼👏🏼👍👊🦾🦾🦾
I am happy for you. That is going to be a asset to the shop
This is awesome. I love your work.
Good job Ben, I like a guy that knows what he's doing and how to get it done.
I love fords too nice build... when you paint you should rhino line the bed and maybe a tanu cover.. great episode still digging your content cant wait to see more
Awesome shop truck !!!
Once again another great video! Loving the content. Keep it up!
Bro I’m so impressed. It looked so bad but you made it so simple and fixed it. Cool one
Great find! I hear that year is pretty reliable. I agree that front end is shooting to the stars. Great job as always!
Ben.
That lift is the reason this truck was wrecked in the fist place. Without the proper control arms they are binding, causing the weakest link (the hub assembly) to break at the top. I would remove them immediately so it doesn’t happen again.
This is gonna be a lot of fun to paint. How bout that bonus FULL tank of gas! Niceeee job sir
You need to get some longer upper control arms to correct the upper ball joint geometry. Same thing happened when I leveled out my 4Runner.
It looks like you have almost all the parts to repair it. Just a new knee assembly and maybe a bumper. Nice truck for sure.
Nice job!! Performance tools make a nice and cheap brake bleeder kit to diy brakes by yourself.
Marco and Thad are my boys at Knox! Good dudes
got dang man, 1 day rebuild!!!!!! cant wait to see you break 1m man you really deserve. you been thru so much with this channel and still just keep kicking azz and taking names

Fender liner 😢 ? Is the frame rail bent ?
Good pick up for you, thanks John from Arizona
Great job Ben. Truck looks good.
Not to be picky because you do a great job, but you would be better off to clean those rusty rotors before installing them. Awesome work overall, love the videos.
Great pick-up on that pick-up! Good work Ben, getting it going in one day!
Just a thought why not just re-paint the whole truck since it's been in the sun and it most likely faded this way it's a fresh paint job all around and it's all the same color just a thought I'd share with you keep up the awesome work Venn...Niko in Arizona

Great content! So good to see you active! Cool if you can save the door get it hot and do some magic.
That's a Great Find & Fix. Wish they had a good selection in my area. They are usually wrecked. Which auction do you use?
I’m a Ford technician and see those leveling kits all the time almost all of them nearly touch the springs. Good work Ben, grab a vacuum brake bleeder from O'Reillys easy job on your own then
Your buddies at Goonzquad about have a paint booth ready. Great video of you fixing the truck up.
Wow, you will have this one knocked out quick!
Great video Ben, thought the truck had some frame damage?
Trucks seem so easy to work on! Nice repair!
If they're not adjustable, cut a few inches off of the front coil springs to level the truck.
The leveling kit is at least a 3",that's why the ball joint angle is so bad. Just put stock struts in it, and drive the wheels off. The 2.7 is much more reliable than the 3.5.
Congratulations on you new truck
Nice job Ben! Get rid of the front lift springs or get new upper control arms or your going to loose a wheel like the guy who wrecked it , that ball joint will fail at those angles !
Totally agree that the front lift doesn't work for me in many ways. Otherwise a great satisfying job. Keep up the good work .
Regards Allan in UK.😊
Great Job and content as always!!
I dig the quick builds. Keep doing them, and maybe 1 day a week, work on the Mustang.
you made a good move of getting some easily fixed cars/trucks and flip them. No point of making 20 videos of heavily damaged cars for contents. Hope your channel continue to get more subscribers.
Nice truck man! i wish they had more of these here in Australia
You need to put some asphalt on that property. Also clean it up. Looks more like a junkyard. A business is a reflection of who you are. Aways, keep it looking good.
Nice job! Quick and easy, it would've been nice to work out the expenses and compare it to a used vehicle to see whether it was a good deal or not.
I have a 2020 F150 4X4 Crew Cab XLT, with the 2.7L that I bought new. I can easily get 23 to 24 MPG with it. I really like the truck.
Keep it up Ben! Great to see that SUB Count going up! Let’s get to 1 MILLION baby!
What did you do with the one ton diesel you had and fixed. The black one ??
Great content salute South Africa is watching
That number 3 is for the banding machine that put the fender in that box! That fender came from the Ford Motor Company Parts Re-Distribution Center!
I think you're right the front looks a little high, might want to try to lower it a little. Congrats on winning the trailer.
The shop's lot definitely needs a clean-up! Maybe then Vtuned will work on one of the two Mustang projects, again? Maybe Mustangs are his kryptonite. Else, he can fix an F150 in one video!
good job on the very practical build. need to clean up the yard a bit though hehehe
Love this Truck !!! please keep it as a shop / Daily Driver Love the color and the Trim is perfect for a work truck ... Probably gonna need the scan tool to blow out ABS block. Bet there is air in it.

My 15 5.0 4x4 gets 18 mpg and the boost ones can have serious problems. Hope you get many years of use and enjoy it bud
You do great work, you need to have a show on motortreed
Nice build. You were concerned about the upper control arm, which doesn't appear to fit like the other side. Hope you check that out.
Are the spindles different on Ruff Cuntry lifts from standard
V will have this thing fixed in no time flat!!
Sam’s car now sits outside… mission impossible 😂
😂😂😂
Heck yeah, great buy congrats brotha..
