That’s funny. Power companies said they were prepared and ready with crews on standby. Shouldn’t they already have been here then? They tell us yesterday crews are working thru the night but trucks didn’t arrive until today. Someone dropped the ball! No way people should be without power for this long.

Man, WHEN (and yes, not if, but WHEN) a category 3 or above hurricane finally "threads the needle" and makes it all the way to the coastal states, it's going to absolutely DECIMATE every single town, state and city in it's path... It'll be like "MadMax Beyond thunder dome" for MONTHS I've made the decision to leave to the Pacific Northwest just as soon as I can I'd rather be somewhere that actually has "seasons" (like, spring, winter, etc) i'd rather take my chances with volcanoes and earthquakes
The people.....should be well prepared enough for events such as this. Generators aren't $1,000,000, stop trying to harp on the help they're getting.....good grief.

We have Generators but they don’t buy themselves, or maintain themselves for decades between storms either. Especially for the elderly who live on tight budgets. I seen and helped all the people in need I could. Mostly elderly or disabled that were sitting outside on their lawn just to catch a breath. You didn’t come together as a community to make sure we took care of those that needed their medicine refrigerated. Or had dialysis and breathing machines in our house that they relied on to keep them safe and healthy. Dont tell me who to blame when you have no idea what me or my community has been through.
As someone who worked as a roadside mechanic for 10 years, I hate when other companies use warning strobes while driving. It makes most of the public not acknowledge them when they are actually bring used while there's someone walking around on the side of the road. Also pointless and distracting
