Thank you so much! Videos where you change lanes and record the mirror at the same time are extremely helpful! Judging whether it is safe to change lanes by using the mirrors seems challenging. Please do more lane changing videos, both left and right side lane changing, normal city driving lane changing, highway lane changing, and merging with cameras pointing at the mirrors.
I'm scared of freeway driving but now that I'm across the country from my family i have to learn how to do this if i wanna do road trips. One day I'll take a trip to Colorado but thats a few states from where I'll be living so I need to get better at freeway driving
So you have no idea what your doing huh. Number one thing to keep in mind is NEVER be the car blocking traffic ever. Go with the flow and stay out of the way of faster cars. Its just that easy.
I thought I knew how to drive on the highway, turns out I didn't. This channel is so helpful for new drivers, thanks a lot for the knowledge you're sharing and keep up the best quality!
As of today I can drive the freeway from my home to work , my home to the grocery store (an hour/2hr drive) I’m so excited 🎉❤🎉 and happy for myself ! As long as I stay In the right lane I’m G00D!!!! I’m so happy and feel free I can’t wait to travel further ❤❤❤❤
I love your style. I also teach my students the exact same lessons. I ask them to be talking to me constantly, so I know what they are thinking with each maneuver they make. I envy the excellent tech that you use as well. I wish I had this for my videos. It makes it easier to convey important information to your students. Great job! Drive safe everybody!
Really great tips!! I watched this video a few days before my driving test, and I passed! Your advice was incredibly helpful and highly recommend this to anyone preparing for their test! You got this!! 💓
I am practicing for getting my drivers license your videos are so helpful thank you so much and also your videos release my anxiety, as a beginner driver thank you
Great video! Drivers be aware that some highways in different states have even slower speed limits for off-ramps. Here in Los Angeles on the 110 highway there’s off’s ramps about 10 feet long with a posted 5 mph speed limit. Of course the walls of those off ramps have been kissed multiple times by cars 😅
Thank you Jacqueline for your very helpful tutorial. You have such a sweet, beautiful and calming smile! I appreciate all the tips and detailed guidance, such as need to see both headlines of the car behind in the rear view mirror, or left mirror (and knowing the car is waiting for you to merge). Keeping a quick glimpse at the blind spot is also an important tip. I will follow you closely, Zutobi and Jacqueline!
Great video on highway driving! The tips for entering and exiting the highway were really helpful. Definitely going to apply these techniques on my next drive. Thanks for sharing!
great teaching techniques. taking care of details , like enhancing a screenshot of the green sign showing distance from exit or zooming in on the the rear view mirror etc.
You're very welcome! We're delighted to hear that our videos have been helpful in simulating road navigation for you. It's our aim to provide valuable information and guidance for all aspiring drivers. Safe driving, and thank you for your support! 😊
Good video. I would just add that many states have a law requiring you to stay in the right lane except to pass, and there can be legal penalties for not adhering to this guideline.
Could you teach how to make corrections in parking either reverse or forward. How to make adjustments in correcting the car positioning between parking lines
A video on making corrections in parking is already in the works and will be published soon. Stay tuned, and make sure to subscribe so you don't miss it!
As someone who's been in Germany, I've learned to keep as far right as possible on Interstates and not use another lane except to pass other drivers. I don't always do that on highways, however. Interstates are built to a certain required standard that forces planners to build ramps to allow drivers to get up to high speeds with good visibility; highways, fun fact, are only built to the standard that planners want to build to, they don't have to follow the highway design manuals. As someone who studies transportation engineering, when you make full use of all the lanes, you can use its full capacity and you won't have a mostly empty right lane during moderate traffic. Definity something that should be taught and planned for in America.
If you're merging/Yielding on the on ramp going 65-70 miles per hour and there's a line of cars next to you in the lane you're merging into, Do you slow slightly using the brake pedal or just ease of the gas to fit into a gap behind the cars?
Thank's for your comment! When merging onto a highway at 65-70 miles per hour with a line of cars in the lane you're merging into, it's generally safer to ease off the gas pedal and attempt to find a gap behind the cars rather than using the brake pedal to slow down. Remember, safety is a top priority when merging onto a highway, so it's crucial to follow the flow of traffic and make your moves as predictable as possible to reduce the risk of accidents 🙂✌
Watching over the shoulders is the most tricky part. I fear that suddenly the car in front will slame a brake or something will happen. Cant take eye of the front. Whats the safest solution for it?
Those yellow MPH signs on corners is not the actual speed limit and is just an indicator of how sharp the corner is. Your speed should be set by your comfort and your comfort will increase as you learn to keep your eyes up looking far down the road.
I fear the people around me, there has never been a time I've been on the highway and I didn't see someone crashed, and people are more reckless on the highway
Lane changing is not a team effort. Look for the gap and drive into it, don't ever expect the car you moving in front of to back off and give you room. This is the worst way to change lanes by far and is never needed, ever. This causes a huge amount of traffic and accidents. There is always a gap, if you don't think so your not looking very far up the road or waiting until the last second. The whole trick is to keep your eyes up and plan a few seconds ahead verses looking 50 feet in front of your car and waiting until the last second. If your not doing this your putting your focus or attention in the wrong place. Her method does nothing but cause traffic and is also considerably way more dangerous because your causing other cars to slow and will lead to rear end accidents.
Absolutely not! Having a learning disability doesn't necessarily mean one can't learn to drive safely. Many people with learning disabilities successfully learn to drive by adapting teaching methods to suit their individual needs, using patient instructors, and finding techniques that work best for them. With the right support and approach, individuals with learning disabilities can become safe and proficient drivers.

Thank you Soo much. And Great video btw!!!
My main issue is when entering freeways with short merging space, and matching the speed quickly because I feel like it's hard to see blind spots
Best video
To reduce your speed from 65 mph to 25 mph when exiting, do you use the brakes at any time?
Watching over the shoulders is the most tricky part. I fear that suddenly the car in front will slame a brake or something will happen. Cant take eye of the front. Whats the safest solution for it?
Keep a safe 3 second distance between you and the car in front of you. And you gotta be able to check your blind-spots fast when driving on highways.
May i ask what's that thing stuck to your windshield
Thanks, you're lovely
I know I’m gonna be a good safe driver because I steady looks at my view mirrors
If you miss your exit, you must drive to the next exit. Never back up on a freeway to reach your exit
Good Video... Need to teach entering first and then the exiting next... need more details on entering....

Why people fear to drive in high way?
I fear the people around me, there has never been a time I've been on the highway and I didn't see someone crashed, and people are more reckless on the highway
Mainly the high speed and reckless drivers. Also, driving on highways can be unexpected as anything can happen, so for a beginner it's very stressful.
