  • No copyright infringement intended. This clip from the film is shown with the incredibly amazing Hollywood Symphony Orchestra playing with the film. The sold out Greek Theatre holds less than 5900 people, so very few people were fortunate enough to experience this brilliant night's performance with the orchestra and the film in tandem.
One-night only performance of Paramount Pictures' Rocketman: Live in Concert at the historic Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, CA on October 17, 2019. Truly special evening featuring the marvelous Hollywood Symphony Orchestra playing live-to-picture all the songs from the film as the audience is treated to the film on three big screens. Audience participation was encouraged and it was a blast to be a part of it.
If you haven't seen the film, I hope this clip will encourage you to rent/buy the film. I've purchased the film and my family and I have watched several times already.
Such an amazing night and so happy to share this with those who could not be there!
Enjoy and Subscribe! Please send a message or comment if video needs to be removed. Sharing because live music makes life great! Thanks!

I took the girl of my dreams to see Elton's Dodger Stadium concert in 1975; after being married to that cutie for 41 years, I took our sweet youngest daughter to see his Farewell tour for her 30th birthday just a few months ago. There is something about his music that has penetrated the deepest parts of my being. To this day. Thank you, Elton Hercules John...and Bernie Taupin.

Wow. I’m not sure exactly how old you are, but I’m fifteen, and I have to say I appreciate you. All my friends say I was born in the wrong era, as elton John has always been my favorite. Some of my favorite memories are feeling the wind in my hair and the sun on my face while driving in my dads car listening to tiny dancer and your song. Peaceful, memorable, lovely. Now, as a teen, some of his songs make me wanna get up and dance! Crocodile rock is my favorite:) but his one song, Rocketman, makes me want to cry every time. I recently performed the solo your song in a chorus concert actually! So, as a person from another generation, thanks for appreciating such good music, and a wonderful musician who paved the way for many after. Elton was and always will be a legend. I’m so sad I will never be able to see him in concert or meet him, he’s amazing. I grew up in him. But now knowing everything about how he turned his life around he’s true,y become amazing to me. You are truly lucky to have lived when he was bigger. I love that his music also penetrates you deeply. It’d a lovely thing, you know. Music is amazing. Now I’m crying! Ugh. Thanks. ~born in the wrong decade girl:)

My wife and I were there at The Greek that night. Was magical. During last year's voting season I proudly voted for both Rami and BR. I thought Rami deserved every vote he got and every award he earned, he did a great job. However, he also lip-synced his singing parts on that film. In the case of Rocketman, Mr Egerton sang every note himself as well as acted superbly. I still have a few projects to screen before voting season comes around so I can't say definitively that Mr Egerton and/or Rocketman will be getting my votes, but I can honestly say at this point that I would not hesitate to vote for this project in any one of numerous categories but especially Best Actor for Mr Egerton. Was very well done IMO, and having Mr John, Bernie Taupin, Jamie Bell, Bryce Dallas Howard and the music producer whose name I THINK is Giles Martin come out after the screening of Rocketman was very cool. Hats off to the Hollywood Symphony Orchestra, who were phenomenal that night.

I think that the stories between Rocketman and Bohemian rhapsody were both special in their own way but I gotta say that the way they directed this film was just awe inspiring. His fight against fake love, parent troubles, drugs and alcohol damage. What a fighter he truly is. His end result on what he has become speaks for itself. He helped raise over £350 million pounds for AIDS on a charity that he created, the amount of people that he inspires day by day with his fight against drugs and alcohol and having to deal with his sexualities now that takes heart and guts. What a truly magical and outstanding job they did with this film. Some bits were really hard to watch but this made it even more special!!! Sir Elton John. Taron Edgerton, what a job he did playing a legend!!!
