I had to take a razor and shave the inside to remove the shrink wrap once the rods were in place. The magazines were not dropping freely. Once I did that it was great! No rattle and very snug installation. Thanks!
Great idea with the heat shrink! I would have thought electric tape, but that is much better. I've enjoyed you videos over the years. Glad to see them still pop up in my feed from time to time.
At the very minimal from the initial comments of others as well as my own impression after inserting these in my XL over a year ago is that it helps balance out the top heavy metal slide with the slightly longer 3.7” barrel of a small pistol with otherwise a VERY light polymer grip module.
I love the idea, but I think if I was going to use them again or whatever I would just destroy the old grip to get them. I don’t know I guess their may be reasons to take them out non-aggressively.😊
Gorilla tape Bro. I don't need a box of heat shrink to mod my Tungsten rods. .02c worth of tape fixes your issue; vs a heat gun, a box of alibaba skrink nobs, and the shipping time. I want my rods, I want them right GD now!! Where is the Tape? Or maybe some super glue. Anything will work.
Armory Craft sells a ton of Sig parts, accessories for the P320 and the P365. Their weight kits include a small tube of clear silicone that you apply to the rods before installing into the grip module.

Thanks for the info. I’m on it! BTW….thanks for being quick and to the point. No music, no long drawn out tutorial. 😎
Excellent idea. Well done! I'll be fixing my WC 365 Grip ASAP.

So much cleaner way to do! Thanks
Thanks man. You are a Genius. Much appreciated. Nice and clear instructions
Nice solution. Much better than epoxy. Thank you

Is there a difference between the wilson combat rods and the armory craft rods?
Im trying to decide if these are actually worth buying.....do they actually help with felt recoil or anything truly useful?
It won't change the felt recoil. For me it fits my hand better and feels more balanced.
Does the added weight help at all
It feels more balanced , I have a threaded barrel and weapon light . You can fine tune the weight by just adding one or two weights.

Or just wrap the weights with electrical tape 😮
The install video from WC literally shows silicone. Just why???
Competition ccw !
