I love the way that you show all the small details of the sewing process, even cutting off the threads. I'm sure that's a nice apron with excellent quality!
Amanda, thank you for the video and instructions. I have never used my sowing machine before and needed and really wanted a waist apron. This was perfect! You are a gem!
Thank you for an awesome tutorial! I am a beginner and recently purchased a pattern to make a half apron and was totally and completely lost! Your way of explaining things makes it so much easier! Love it!
Amanda, just love how you miter those corners! It's so easy but honestly, I've never even seen that done before. GREAT tip! Just love your videos - you're a great teacher. And Friday videos are OK by me!
Thank you for sharing this with us Amanda. You are a natural! Would buy your book if you had one! You are a great teacher. Very patient. I saw one of your quilt videos awhile back and just adore your color combinations as well!
Hi Amanda, from Lisbon Portugal. Love, love, love the print and the apron. My christmas gifts are now completed!!!! I will put a rufle (?) at the bottom to look like a vintage piece. Continue your good work, teaching us.
I discovered a technique to sew more easily even if you are a beginner in the sewing world... I talk more about it on my channel, I hope to help those who need it...
Love the apron. I think it would great to wear when I am picking okra and tomatoes from my garden so I don't have to put them in my pockets. Thanks for such cool tutorials.
Such a lovely apron, and since I also love to bake, I need to make one (my current apron is in a very shabby state). Great tutorial, thank you, Amanda!
Can you tell me the measurements of the fabric you purchased or started with? I have a yard of fabric and need to make my daughter a waitress waist apron. Thank you!
Such a precise and easily understood tutorial! You're a wonderful, natural teacher! Subscribed, and if you ever do write a sewing book, I will certainly buy it! Now I can't wait to make this for my little girl :)

Hi do you think it will be easy enough to add the bib part to make a full apron? My birthday present of my new Kitchen aid is arriving this week and i cook alot so really need to make 2 aprons to save my clothes from getting dirty all the time. X
+Megen Swyer There's lots of things you can get started with! Mug rugs or coasters are usually the simplest. I'd even suggest taking a trip to your local library and borrowing some beginner sewing/craft book to gain some inspiration. If you're unable to, perhaps do a search on Pinterest for simple sewing projects - there's always plenty to choose from! :)
I'm surprised no one mentioned the adorable little book at the end of the video which is meant to keep needles in. I would like instruction on how to make this but can't find it
I've found you thanks to adventure time and I love what you do! You speak the right way and it's easy to follow you even for a non-english speaking like me! :) Just wanted to ask where did you buy the cutter (I've one but it's tiny and doesn't do a great work) because I saw it cutting a consistent amount of fabric and it's amazing! Sometimes scissors aren't the best to use :( Thank you in advance for the reply! Continue making these cute videos
+Giulia Satta Welcome to my channel! I'm so glad that you're enjoying my videos. The cutter I have I bought at my local craft store. Most of these type stores should stock bigger rotary blades for you to buy and use. :)
Thanks for sharing your knowledge with the world, we from kefei apron manufacturing company love your work and love what you are doing with apron production check our youtube to see what we are doing and tell us what you think in the comment section
Makers desicion on what fabric is used. Personally I would make some in Batman or Star Wars fabric for my son and DIL :o) That's the beauty of making your own.

I’m desperate to find this fabric pattern! Any tips on how to search online for this style of fabric?
Aprons give you magical powers
Good job.
Can't wait to make!!!!
Loved this, but I would make it wider, so that it meets at the back, then tie at the front, ties would need to be longer too.
The apron is cute. And You are soo cute. Thanks

Why are most aprons still made with flowery material, aprons need to come into the 21st century, i don't wear and have never owned an apron.
