Touring the campgrounds so you can see the sites and amenities of the Lancaster New Holland KOA. We loved it. Clean, fantastic location, nice staff! koa.com/campgr...
People like me sure do appreciate you both sharing your adventures with us. For the ones who can't afford to go anywhere these days. At least we get to see everywhere you both travel to and enjoy going on your adventures with your though your videos. Thank you for sharing your vacations with us that couldn't afford to go anywhere. This makes my life easier just knowing that God has blessed us with such a beautiful earth that we all live in together.
What a beautiful camp ground Rich & Jen. Very clean and well cared for. The county side is spectacular. Enjoy your vacation and make sure you do some Amish dining !!! Blessings always. 😊
The area is the draw, people come from all around to the Amish area! They have some great restaurants, bakeries and farmers markets! I Love to watch the horse and buggies.
Lancaster/New Holland KOA is really great. A hidden gem of our area. As locals, we live about 30 minutes from here, just outside of Reading we camp here at least once a year. It’s very quiet and cozy and seemingly never overcrowded. You missed visiting/mentioning one of the best parts of the area, Shady Maple Smorgasbord! Very good local food cooked by the PA Dutch and Amish. Oh, and by the way, it’s “Lancaster” not “Lang-caster”, that’s in California, this is definitely not California. 😂 It’s just a local thing….Glad you enjoyed it here. Oh and we took part in the Amish baked goods across the street on our last visit. Yummy! If you haven’t experienced it yet, you need to try Shoo-fly pie (Might not sound appealing but I guarantee it will be worth it). 👋
We actually did go to Shady Maple and did a whole separate video on it. It was fantastic and a real experience. Also tried the shoofly pie at Yoders and didn’t really care for it. Probably should try one from another place and give it another shot. Thank you for watching and we absolutely loved our visit.😊
I'm going to Lancaster over July 4th. It is beautiful country there. I'm from the Pittsburgh PA area, living in Weirton WV currently and have been to Pigon Forge area twice.
Im not an RV'er myself, but I really enjoyed your review. You were both so unencumbered with daily worries that I could tell there was no stress in both your voices. From the beginning of the video, both of you seemed so relaxed and appreciative of what you were exploring. Its amazing when you can find a great place to relax like this. I'm hoping to be able to check out one of those cabins.
Great views from your campsite! Beautiful site! I’ve been to Lancaster when I was a little girl, went to Bird in Hand and Intercourse ( I know ) and an amusement park called, Dutch Wonderland. Went to a few Amish markets and I remember their baked goods were fantastic, so I can imagine their doughnuts were delicious! Thank you for taking us along with you and showing us such a great campground!
@@jennifermountaingirl if you all ever head our way, way up north we are currently at Swan Bay RV Resort and Marina, in Fishers Landing, Alexandria Bay NY. Beautiful RV resort. We watch the freighters go by all day.
@@jennifermountaingirl Awe!! I'm so glad you had a great visit!! Can't wait to see all your videos from here in PA & hopefully you get to come back soon 😊
Just so you know i don't know if youve been up here before but shady maple is closed on Sundays but there open Monday through Saturday 7.00 am to 7.30 pm yoders is open on Sunday they only have a brunch from 10.00am to 2.00 pm there open from 6.00 am to 8.00 pm Monday through Saturday
We don't hear a lot about the Yorkies, Bella and Benson. We have two Yorkies also and I call them our little demon seeds or terrorists. How are they when you take them with you to campsites?
😂😂well Benson is 16 so he is super chill. Bella on the hand is a whole different story! 😂 She barks at every single dog and suspicious person! She is 12. They do really well in the RV. I just leave the tv on while we are gone and monitor them with a camera. How old are your babies?
@@jennifermountaingirl We're not exactly sure how old they are because we got them from rescue shelters. But our best guess would be about seven or eight years old. Their names are Roxy & Rocco.
I live about 20 minutes from that area and I drive amish around in that area and if you get a chance to go to the white horse lunchonet it's small but very good there closed on Sundays but there open Monday through Friday from 6.00 am until 8.00 pm and Saturday from 6.00 am until 3.00 pm

Beautiful. My last RV stay was a year ago with my dad who sadly is now gone. Enjoy your stay and thanks for sharing.
I’m sure you treasure those memories. One thing nice about camping is the down time to just sit and talk. ❤️
Beautiful Camp ground. Our Camping days are over. Thanks for sharing

We had a great time- loved the Roots market on Tuesday!

We won’t be back until next year but I’ll put that on the list! We ate at Dienner’s, Yoders and Shady Maple.
My back door😊
Have to try the Shady Maple Amish Buffet.
Oh we did and it was fantastic, I think we will have a video on it Thursday
How expensive is the spaces? Any hidden fees?
No hidden fees, nice spaces. Prices vary depending on site selection and time of year. Right now in high season- 65.00-100.00 a night
I havent RVed/camped in years. How much does this site cost? It is a lovely and well kept camping area.
I think it was 75.00 a night? It was peak season though. It’s a really nice place!
Try riverside tv park on Boyd’s creek in Kodak
We live about 20 minutes from there
I'd suggest conceal carry. Older people get targeted at these rv sites. And your advertising yourselves with a bullhorn.
The beautiful thing about conceal carry is you never know who is carrying, good suggestion if the carriers are trained
