This expansion may have been the absolute peak of modern wow in terms of stakes and storytelling. It was so good, we were spoiled. Every time i think about resubscribing i remember that I'll never experience Legion again and I get so sad. For azeroth
This was truly a great expansion. I really loved the artifact weapons and that every class had their unique storyline with weapons and quests. I wish we get Legion servers in the future so we can enjoy the might of complete artifact weapons with all traits and powers.
I loved it as well especially the Lord and the cinematics with that anduin theme music when the hope comes at the last second + mplus and raids artifact weapons amazing just amazing

all we can hope for is legion classic which I doubt will happen but if it did i'd be on that forever
Can we talk about how hard Blizzard went with Legion? We had full cutscenes instead of in-engine jank like BFA and Shadowlands for the important moments. We had the audio drama. And Blizzard did not miss a beat with Legion.
Trying to explain why WoW music gets me emotional is my gateway to making people listen to 4 days of lore.

Legion is an amazing expansion, much better than anyone expected. Music and scenary are also spot on. Some of the best stories and beautiful new zones they ever created.

Indeed it is, imo it's the better expansion, even better than Wotlk. But it had poor finale with Argus, it was a bland area (just compare it to the magnificent Timeless Isle).

Listening to this,i see the scene in my head where Varian releases the skyship and impales the Fel Reavers head. Most epic moments in gaming history! Long live the legend!
Love this soundtrack - especially over the BFA one. But that may just be because I don't have much love for BFA and I really enjoyed Legion. Felt the best to me since TBC.
Daniel Pereira. Yes! I will dare say it was my favorite xpac. It felt like metzens swan song of his wow career. I think he seen the writing on the wall at blizzard and got out.
I need to constantly remind myself that Sylvanas got a theme song in BfA 🙄

+Wowmusicable Can you please upload the song in the monk class order hall in the Shrine of the Seasons that sounds like the Shrine of two moons song? They sound very similar but there are noticable changes in the song that make it sound soo epic!
+Wowmusicable Do you know where 23:40 come from? I've been looking for the meaning of this melody? Feels like Sargeras being summoned or something, its pretty damn awesome.
I mean, even the login music ends with this melody and then it ends in a creepy, devastating way. I feel like the expansion is going to end with Sargeras being summoned and we kinda losing, but that would be weird... what would we do, where would we go?
Yes I know, 23:40 comes from the zone Val'Sharah, the part that is infected with the Emerald Nightmare. You can also hear it in the dungeon Darkheart Thicket.
I quested yesterday in Val'sharah and heard it, loved it. The thing is, at 9:38 we see a variation of the melody with a more "final stand"-ish ring to it.
I really hope we get to listen this variation at least on the final raid, it's just so epic.

I absolutely love Azsuna at 1:00:07. It changes to music that sadly isn't played in game as far as I know, which starts at 1:01:36. At the start the music is played in Nar'thalas and Suramar City.

I literally enjoyed every part of Legion. Storytelling, zones, questing, characters, my tailoring quests, it was so freaking awesome. I think they should have made it a 2 part thing. To expand on the lore of the Burning Legion. Infinity War and Endgame style thing.

I absolutely love Passages at 29:58 and I love the way it changes at 31:38 gradually to music called Glimmer at 31:55.
I absolutely love the Tomb of Sargeras at 16:59.
I'm trying to find an extended version of the start of it... I believe it's not actually tomb of sargeras where it plays, but if i remember correct i've heard it play somewhere else, just the start of it, just can't find where...
@@Manakuski I know what of name of the "extended" part is. It's called Requiem of the Lost Cities. It plays in Shal'aran, Azuregale Bay, Bradensbrook, etc. Pretty much the elven zones of Legion such as Suramar and Val'sharah. Yeah, they splice different parts of different music together to create a whole new track. I hope this is helpful.
Anduin's Theme hits extra hard now with what's happening in Shadowlands....
Canticle of Sacrifice is so hard for me to listen to. Don't misunderstand, it's not a bad song at all! But the emotion of it is almost too painful to handle. Cheers to that vocalist, that is an incredibly passionate piece of music. (The version with words is easier for me to handle than just the one with the woman vocalizing).
Additionally - there are several songs not just in this soundtrack but in WoW Music in general where there are vocalists singing. I think a lot of them are probably just vocalizing but when it's words, does anyone know what language they are singing in or maybe where some translations are? The only one I know is Lament of the Highborne.
I absolutely love Mire at 39:58, which begins with music that plays in Azuregale Bay, Falanaar, Gloaming Reef, etc. At 41:28 it changes to music that plays in most of Azsuna.

The part at 6:50 is sometimes played in Azshara, but it isn't anywhere to be found in its soundtrack. Anyone know what the title officially is?

I find the Login Screen music version of this video much more cleaner than the Login Screen music from the game... why is that?
Probably because it is from the soundtrack which is pretty much studio quality depending on what you're listening to it with.
Because the login screen in the game has ambiance and sound effects in the background.
Maybe your audio setting are not at the highest quality. In my case I don't hear any difference Hahaha
There's a song on here that always plays in both Suramar and in Azsuna that I can't find on this list. It really bugs me since it's my favorite tune from legion!

I absolutely love that thundering sound at 13:07 to 13:12. It sounds realistic.
I absolutely love Val'sharah at 26:31 and it changes to music that REALLY plays Val'sharah at 27:54. At the start it is music that really plays in Azsuna.
