for some reason i really like musics with some minor lyrics or that have some speaker pop up at some point of the song for a short time .. say some things .. and music continues after that ... i really like those kinda musics .. thats why i really love Beacon .. before the speaker says those words .. music drops .. it cools down .. then he says the words with a great voice .. and when he finishes off with "where would you go" .. music goes up again .. that gives me chills every time i listen Beacon .. thats what i love about that ... for The Bomb .. at first i didnt really liked the music much .. but after listening it again and again .. i slowly started to love it .."surrender or die" .. well i think those words aimed at listeners of the music :D .. and i slowly surrendered myself to song and hooked to it :D that also a point i like about that song as well ... ofc entire album is fantastic ...
This is a masterpiece. The last track has probably the best progression I've heard in the genre, both guitarists absolutely smashed their solos. Subbed, about to buy, looking forward to a Volkor X future.
I can't even begin to describe the state of auditory bliss the final track on this album puts me in. The whole album is amazing and leads up to one of the best tracks I've ever had the pleasure to listen to. Thank you!
Now seriously, I listen to plenty of music genres for my age probably, and I discovered Synthwave just a few months ago... but damn.. "This Means War" definitely deserves a spot among my favourite (and most fucking galacticly epic) songs of all times. You truly gave birth to a masterpiece, Volkor X, and I sincerely thank you for this
I've yet to listen to another track as bone-chilling and adrenaline-injecting as This Means War. I can say without hesitation that this is the best song I've heard in my life, and it has truly left behind a mark in my it. Volkor X and Sylvian Coudret, I thank you for this, sincerely. Such passion in your music. I like all of your songs. Greetings.
The last song on this album is probably the best I have heard from the genre in a long time. I hope you make more progressive stuff like that, honestly amazing stuff.
Perfect. Just.... Fucking perfect. Damnit I love this kind of music. First time listening through a full Volkor X album and I will be playing many more after this. Thanks dude. This stuff is killer.
Years passed, but this album remains one of the very best, astounding pieces of music i've ever had the pleasure to listen. Hats off, deep respect and many thanks for filling our lives with magnificent sound.
Brilliant, I love it! This and Dan Terminus are my favourite Synthwave artists atm. I'm mainly into hard rock / metal and prog but this goes with it perfectly. That closer - EPIC!
The track "This Means War" made my physically get up off my chair during work and start dancing uncontrollably with tears running down my face. The adrenaline and energy going through my body warped me back to my childhood with the greatest memories of 2D shooters and videogames with my brother and friends. I feel like I owe you money for listening to this song alone.
This world could use a good mass extinction event to unite the masses. I vote for Volkor X allday, every day. The other robots running for president have their weaknesses exposed like it's a video game. One's making himself increasingly unelectable by being as honest as possible, while also being as non transparant as possible. An odd infinite loop racecondition in the reasoning matrix I reckon..if successful however, prime candidate for premature scrappage by elite overlordbot orders. The other has so many defective parts, she's almost coming apart at the biohinges. Not sure this particular robot is fit for leadership.. as for me; some robots just want to see the world burn.. It's been a while since I witnessed the flames on Cybertron's shattered remains.. #nostalgia ;)
Oh man... I listen this album again and again.. For years now... The part called hypersleep is touching my soul💖💯 I never get enough of it.. A masterpiece❤️👌😎👍🏆 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 Thank you xtreemly much🙏
This is up there in my top 5 fave electronic albums, if you dig this you'll dig these LPs :- Dan Terminus - "The Wrath Of Code" - ua-cam.com/video/KjrKrvF7JDA/v-deo.html Carpenter Brut - "Leather Teeth" - ua-cam.com/video/_xoxUEKb0os/v-deo.html Sinoia Caves - "Beyond The Black Rainbow" - ua-cam.com/video/huZ-AiY4jnM/v-deo.html Monomer - "Labyrinth" - ua-cam.com/video/N8i1Wmt7o7U/v-deo.html
Hey Volkor X! Huge fan of retro/dark/synthwave and i recently discovered you on spotify and i gotta say haven't been able to not listen to this album daily! Especially 'run away'. You gained a fan and a sub from Finland!
This is my favorite synthwave album ever. I will never comprehend how people invent music like this. And yes, as already said below, last track is something extraordinary. Well done Volkor X!
Benjamin Kirk Thanks human! The album is being repressed as we speak. It's available for pre-order at Neuropa Records (google it, let me know if you can't find the shop) and should start shipping around the first week of january.

Przed Państwem Chris Franke, Johannes Schmoelling i Edgar Froese, czyli Tangerine Dream.
Omg, I needed to stop several times. Because the overwhelmingness exceeded my memory capacities. I heard this on full volume with my KRK Rokit 5 studio monitors.

Probably the best comment I've ever read on here tbh.
War is the father of us all, King of all. Some it makes gods, some it makes men, some it makes slaves, some free.
haha cool picture! awesome music

Well, my brains are... liquified
the last track is something that you don't hear from any other synthwave artist!!
Not yet anyway, maybe more now Volkor X has done it! Check out Dance With The Dead too
Actually , just heard the new B sides from them, quite good! i like that metalsynth but this means war has a sick progression!
Now even Soilwork revolutionize other music genre =)
This is a masterpiece. The last track has probably the best progression I've heard in the genre, both guitarists absolutely smashed their solos. Subbed, about to buy, looking forward to a Volkor X future.
The closer is the Stairway To Heaven of Synthwave (cheesy as that sounds)
I can't even begin to describe the state of auditory bliss the final track on this album puts me in. The whole album is amazing and leads up to one of the best tracks I've ever had the pleasure to listen to. Thank you!

Just had a big war in Stellaris. This album was on the whole war.
YES Volkor X songs are THE best to listen to while playing Stellaris!
I gotta check that game out, I am sooooooooooo behind tech wise. I don't have enough money to keep up =/ I need a new pc lol
You know, after having played some Stellaris recently, some of this album came up on shuffle and knew it would pair perfectly :D
very good, perfect for "war on heavens" event
i like ur pic

Man that guitar solo at the final track at 44:43 is SO melodic and badass!!!!!
I was at 42:15 when I read this comment, so held my breath waiting for it to arrive. So glad I did.
It begins at 44:43
@@bmeinardus damn 6 years!! Thanks for reminding it to me!

Why be an astronaut when you can just listen to this album and take a trip to space!? Absolutely brilliant stuff.
Don't you ever stop making music please. Thank you.
The last song on this album is probably the best I have heard from the genre in a long time. I hope you make more progressive stuff like that, honestly amazing stuff.
Whole albums is amazing but that last song it beyond so many levels of epic...
We'll be blasting this when we raid Area 51 to find out where they're keeping Volkors I through IX.
(JK, I know it's the letter X.)
You may have made the synth, but Volkor brought the war.
hey Volkor X this is a pretty good album man , my favorite track of yours is " enclave "
#badasswave
#volcore

Hey volkor, just discovered you on spotify, love the album. big ups
Soilwork is a fantastic band and Sylvain Coudret at the end was AMAZING!
Dude you're so talented. And I'd subscribe, but you have 666 subscribers. And it's just too perfect lol.
This album is a masterpiece, IMFO.
Several of these tracks have quickly become favorites. The second half of the album is phenomenal. Thank you so much for this!
Why is Progressive Synthwave not already a subgenre? Who is dead at their switch?
16:25 great atmosphere 👨🚀
not a single second which is not awesome on this record... keep it up Mr Volkor!
Wow, this album is money. Going to scoop a repress O_O
I absolutely adore this music! I see a strong future with Volkor X :D, I just found this from UA-cam recommendations, but now you have an instant fan!
the last tracks progression left me speechless ,amazing stuff
No less than a masterpiece...Volkor X reigns supreme in a galaxy of his own...disagreeing to this is a "prelude to war"...
This world could use a good mass extinction event to unite the masses. I vote for Volkor X allday, every day.

Volker X, I seriously love this kind of music and want to hear more bro! Keep up the good work
This album is awesome! I see that the Synthwave is getting back! Even a famous French youtuber use "This Means War" 1st Drop! It's awesome!
Hey Volkor, the album is amazing, mate! Dynamic and Passionate, I love it.
After 2000 years of deep sleep I’m awaken .
Run Away is THE shit.
There's one of you for GosT too lol.
The last track is the best but Run Away and The Bomb crazy underrated

25:52 People of Earth, surrender or die-ie-ie-e...
Oh man that closing track is like Synthwave's own Shine On You Crazy Diamond or Stairway to Heaven. E - P - I - C
(and the rest is just as good!)
This is my favorite synthwave album ever. I will never comprehend how people invent music like this. And yes, as already said below, last track is something extraordinary. Well done Volkor X!
27:29 "Hypersleep": the perfect soundtrack for the movie Passengers
Hypersleep is such a great track. Emanates every part of the emotional gamut you can feel listening to a song.
Just heard Beacon in a synthwave mix here on UA-cam and it kicked my ass all the way into space. HUGE new fan.
This album is a game changer! A true inspiration. Will there ever be more vinyl copies sold though? I would love to have one!
Benjamin Kirk Thanks human! The album is being repressed as we speak. It's available for pre-order at Neuropa Records (google it, let me know if you can't find the shop) and should start shipping around the first week of january.
Found it. All hail Volkor X!
Also, I have been having this debate with a friend. Is it pronounced "Volkor Ex" or does the X mean "Volkor the 10th"?
The answer lies at the end of this message:
ua-cam.com/video/ZsMJZeMj9_k/v-deo.html
Excellent album. A lot of the transcendent synthwave I listen to seems to come from Volkor X and Index Code.
Last track is amazing
amazing. Thank you!
this stuff is amaze balls ,thank you for your service to mankind sir !
I have heard magic now.
Not sure how I got here, but so glad I discovered your work!!
Finding this in my playlist years later. So nice to witness this again!!

The Bomb is THE BOMB!!!
Great Work Volkor X! Keep up the amazing music!
Thank you for sourcing the spoken words. I've googled half a dozen different songs I've found on NRW today and found none of them
All Hail Lord VolkorX!
Master of all layered melodies!
All hail Volkor X!!!
Only greatness
Omg, I needed to stop several times. Because the overwhelmingness exceeded my memory capacities. I heard this on full volume with my KRK Rokit 5 studio monitors.
The preparations are ready, we are... GOING TO WAR!
would you mind if me and my friend made a music vid of runaway?
Feel free, OR DIE!
that's quite a choice, I think we'll make the music video, as apposed to dying, do you want to be contacted when it is done?
WOW ! can you reissue this vinyl please ??????????????
Repress is already available from Neuropa Records : www.neuroparecords.com/shop/index.php?shop=neuropa-records
Enjoy, OR DIE!
that guitar solo at the end is so sick it hurts to play even with my imaginary guitar
The Bomb reminds me of Super Metroid's Green Brinstar music. Specifically the bassline you have here. AWESOME.
This whole album is so freaking amazing, but damn, Sylvain Coudret- you got a license to melt all that face?
Reminds me so much of Amiga and C64 music from back in the day. amazing.
run away makes me think of some epic video game that I'm playing back in the late 80s :D
ohhh damn that's good, I can't believe that I missed it when I first went crazy for synthwave back in 2016
chills
What’s the origin of sound bytes from “the bomb”? Is it a specific movie? Or were they specifically recorded in this style for the track?
Listen or Die!!!!! A top album on the scene, without question.
This has got to be the most epic homework I've ever done. Sent it just as this was finishing as well, nice
last track always gives me the CHILLZZ
Only 9260 Abos? Dont understand. Insane amazing music ! love it !
This album just is top notch start to end. An underrated gem, and great from the first second to the last.
I thought that was Eddie the Iron Maiden mascot at first lol.
But seriously this is some really good stuff.
Phenomenal album, it's criminally overlooked...such a goddamn shame.
One of my all time favorite albums! I mostly listen metal but This one still makes it top ten albums of alltime :) Great job dudes.
So... awesome!
love the build up and layering of your tracks. super tasteful stuff. great job
man this music helps me lift, im benching hard when i hear this shit. I feel like goku powering up.
I love this album. Thank you, Volkor X. THANK YOU FOR MAKING GOOD MUSIC!
X marks the spot. This album is effing brilliant. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
People of earth! Surrender or Die! (love this track) While Run Away is the most favorite
Instant Classic.

If I was a WWE superstar, Prelude to war would be my entrance song
