    It was awesome day
    All unique request like 7 Fin socket and many more
    They are real
    Somewhere out there in japan (at least 11 years ago) this surf board are monster at 5.11 ft, with around 4 inch thick body and pointy nose
    This is real monster out there
    With 5 layer fiber and extra 3 layer at the fin tail...
    This is what i called a master piece for me

    beautiful Craftsmanship I started surfing inthe late 1970s ! Became a professional Woodworker,now retired and I’ve wanted to build a Wood board using cold molding boat building techniques for some time now I did build my own Wakeboard out of wood no plans it worked but my next one I will do differently with a torsion style frame a cedar strip exterior using the West System I’ve always wondered why modern Surfboard building hasn’t switched to Epoxy which I feel is better than resin

    • @BendheimBoards
      @BendheimBoards  3 роки тому

      Right on man! I love working with wood and hope to someday build a wood board myself, but know how much work it will be so I'm procrastinating. Epoxy resin is starting to get used more now that EPS foam is getting more popular. I think most glass shops have held onto polyester resin for so long since its cheaper and has faster cure times. I'm switching over to epoxy myself because I'm tired of the poly resin fumes!
