I cant even remember the last book I've read. I've never gone this long without reading something. I'm loving seeing what everyone is reading, adding some to my list to get started when we start school.

I have been reading, "The Hiding Place". I have read this many times, but it's always a reminder of forgiveness and what that really looks like.

I love how you plan everything. It’s so simplistic and well- thought out! I am currently reading Battlefield of the Mind by Joyce Meyer. My anxiety has been getting worse and worse over the years. Found this book recently and it has been a great resource for training my mind to think God’s way.

Favorite book right now is "hold me tight". It's so good! It's explaining the heart of relational needs and problems (a huge over-simplification, but that's the UA-cam comment version). It's huge for emotional intelligence!

First comment! Bless you for thinking of us in the midst of your crazy packing schedule. You are a superstar!! I have been waiting for this one. Sitting here trying to plan our year. Such helpful info for a large family schedule. Thank you. Just finished Pat of Silverbush by Lucy Maud Montgomery.

My favorite book this year has been Bella's Gift. It was written by Rick and Karen Santorum about their daughter, Bella. Bella has Trisomy 18, which is a life-limiting condition. We were blessed with our own precious baby with Trisomy 18 in November of last year: Her name is Charis and she is our 12th child. She is such a gift to our family. The book Bella's Gift was a tremendous encouragement to us during our three month stay in the NICU....some of the hardest days we've ever lived. Charis is now nine months old, and she is an absolute treasure. I highly recommend Bella's Gift to everyone. Every life has value and every life is worth fighting for!

I don't have time to read much. In the evenings, I tend to watch UA-cam videos or grade papers and make sure I have everything ready for the next day. I wanted to mention to you Homeschool Planet. I'm a mom of 8 children at home and my daughter just graduated HS and I have homeschooled her since Kindergarten and I've never heard of it. But I started using it last year and LOVE it!! Instead of planning out your year, you could go in and do it like you currently do it by adding what you actually did for the day. The good thing about it is it can track your hours for you, keep up the grades, etc. I love it. Check it out when you get a few minutes.

First time homeschooling mom of 5 here!!! Thanks for these videos! I seriously am learning so much more organization and tips!!! I especially like the looping idea! I decided to pull a dusty book off the shelf to refresh my brain on the ways children learn and their smarts. It's called 8 Great Smarts by Kathy Koch. So good we have so many types of learners. It's helping me give grace and understanding to each child. Grateful for the many resources that encourage us as we stumble our way through the journey of parenting. Thanks for your vlogs to educate.

My favorite book "right now" (could change next week!) is called Putting Art (back) In Its Place by John E. Skillen. Most art in museums was painted (carved, etc) for a specific place/ specific purpose/ specific lighting etc. I study history and religion but I knew next to nothing about art which was how people learned both these subjects before most of the world became literate. Fascinating.

My boys and I are currently working through the vanderbeekers series and the new hits the shelf September 15th. a great family read aloud about siblings coming together and working through many different things. As for what I am reading well...I'm am reading through all of the read aloud books I planned on reading to the boys a few years ago, but we just didn't get to all of them. Its also a way of educating myself to become a reader and well just plain pick up all the pieces of information I never learn in public school. I hated history and reading as a child and so here I am reading historical fiction as an adult in hopes to become a better reader, more intelligent and find a love for history; so my boys will not hate it like I did.

I am currently reading Darling Rose Gold by Stephanie Wrobel. I do like it , but I wouldn’t say it is my favorite . It keeps me interested because it is kind of a spin on the story of Gypsy Rose Blanchard . It’s hard , but you have to push the fact out of your mind that these are basically the same exact characters but with different names and The story has a twist .

I’m not a big reader. I’m trying to get better and want to make a better try, but I’ve been reading my bible soooo much lately! I do want to do more reading!

Started reading Buried Beneath the Baobab Tree yesterday, only have about 50 pages left. Really heartbreaking but a very good read. 👍

Love the loop idea I worry I would get the kids confused with what is next. I have one with ASD and he is a big schedule kid we already missed our schedule up this week and he was not happy

I recently read The Read-Aloud Family and loved it! I’m currently reading Robinson Crusoe for the book club I’m part of.
