Great job with the installation and video. I've been looking at bumper mounted tire carriers to get the weight off the hinges but the TeraFlex looks like a good alternative. A little concerned about rattles and latches on the bumper mounted solutions, the TeraFlex eliminates those concerns. How much weight do you think you can add to the carrier in the likes of fuel / water containers, recovery gear etc?
So the max without it is 100 pounds on a 35” tire. You can put up to a 40 inch tire onto this, I would assume you could probably double the weight rating, I’ve never thought about how much you could put on it. If you contact Teraflex I’m sure they will let you know. My guess it would be safe to say 200 lbs. Teraflex has pretty fast response times if you call during business hours. Let me know what they say 🤜🏻
